History: Nimbus was an Angel of Mercy, a race that was bonded to the souls of Branx Warriors and helped the warriors reincarnate after death. The Psions experimented on Nimbus' Branx warrior and attempted to mate the warrior breed with X'Hal. In the course of their experiments the Psions separated the warrior from his Angel of Mercy, an unthinkable act.

Nimbus joined the Omega Men and acted as their ambassador throughout the Vegan Star-system. During a battle with X'Hal Nimbus was permanently bonded with the planet Kuraq, and soon took on the role of that planet's protector.

(Titans #19) - Nimbus and the Omega Men arrived on Karna and demanded that Ryand'r and the Tamaranians cease their unprovoked attacks on the Gordanians. Ryand'r relented, and the Tamaranians and Gordanians negotiated a cease-fire.
