History

(Hoppy the Marvel Bunny (Fawcett) #6) - Hoppy and Millie went for a walk when Woodie Woodchuck came running out of the woods, saying he’d seen a ghost. Millie wanted to see for herself and dragged the reluctant Hoppy into the woods. The Phantom of the Woods jumped out at them and ran them off. In town the Beaver Boys told their own story of encountering the Phantom, so Hoppy changed into Marvel bunny to investigate the woods again. The Phantom tried to scare him, but Hoppy knew the Phantom was the Beaver Boys and pulled off the sheet that served as their disguise. They admitted they’d pulled a prank for fun, and hoppy wanted them to prove to Millie and Woodie that there was no such thing as ghosts. He told the Boys to wait in the woods, and sent Millie and Woodie in after them so the Boys could admit to their tomfoolery. Hoppy visited a soda shop, and Woodie came running in, saying Millie had been abducted. The Beaver boys were in the soda shop, having gotten bored of waiting, and Hoppy panicked. He flew into the woods and saw a tree’s door slam shut. Hoppy burst through and found a robber’s hideout. They’d seen the Beaver boy’s prank and decided to use the Phantom gimmick to keep people out of the woods. Hoppy made short work of them and saved Millie.
