Powers: Medphyll was a sentient plant capable of transferring his thought-essence into any nearby plant. As a Green Lantern, Medphyll wielded a power ring fueled by willpower, and capable of doing almost anything he could imagine as long as it was recharged by his emerald power battery once every 24 hours. Examples of its' powers include flight, phasing, creating giant objects formed of energy, and force fields.

History: (Green Lantern / Sinestro Corps: Secret Files #1) - Medphyll was a sentient plant who served as a decorated member of the Green Lantern Corps. One of Medphyll's primary duties was to contain the warring among the Appellaxians of his sector.

(Green Lantern IV #24) - Medphyll and the GLC arrived on Earth to fend off the Sinestro Corps invasion of the planet. Dozens of Sinestro Corps soldiers were slaughtered after the Guardians rewrote the Book of Oa, allowing Green Lanterns to use deadly force against the Sinestro Corps.
