Powers: The Homeless Avenger was a skilled brawler, and armed with a knife and garrote.

History: (Vigilante I #48, 49, 50 (fb, BTS)) - The Homeless Avenger made his debut disabling two muggers brutally beating a homeless man. He announced that NY's homeless were under his protection, and proceeded to slit the muggers' throats. Word spread about him in the homeless community, and the sentiment was that there was finally someone who cared. He next stopped an assault on a homeless woman, and she cheered him on as he beat her attackers to death with a spiked piece of wood. He stopped another attacker by throwing him in front of a train, but the old man he saved was mentally unstable, and shot him in the shoulder. The police responded to the commotion, and the Avenger shot an officer who pointed a gun at the homeless man. He left the subway bleeding saying he loved those under his protection. A large gang attacked the homeless sleeping in Grand Central, and the Avenger went into action, undaunted at being outnumbered. He'd been trailed by the vigilantes Black Thorn, who wanted to kill him, and Vigilante, who thought he was doing good work protecting the forgotten. Vigilante and Thorn engaged in a furious battle, and he knocked her unconscious. He offered help to the Avenger, but was told to leave him to his world. Vigilante complied, and the Avenger fearlessly entered an unwinnable battle, dying a bloody death protecting his people.
