Real Name: Dyvud / Frenk Retzun

Class: Extraterrestrial (Janusian)

Occupation: Superhero

Group Affiliation: Legion of Substitute Heroes Auxiliary

Known Relatives: None

Aliases: None

Base of Operations: Earth, 30th Century

First Appearance: Adventure Comics I #323 (August, 1964)

Powers: Like all Janusians Double-Header's body was in the process of splitting into two beings with identical chromosomes. So far in this process he had grown an extra head, and while most Janusian doubles got along very well Double-Header's two personalities clashed to an unbearable degree.

History: Double-Header traveled to Earth to try out for the Legion of Super-Heroes but was rejected due to his lack of a useful power and his poor attitude.

(DC Comics Presents #59) - Ambush Bug hitched a ride on Superman while he was travelling to the 40th Century on an errand. He couldn't bring the Bug, so he stopped by the 30th century and dropped him by the Legion of Substitute Heroes, who were subbing for the MIA Legion. Ambush Bug escaped, and the Subs had to call in their auxiliaries, including Double-Header, to capture him again. Double-Header was overjoyed that he got to work with Superman.

Due to the events of Zero Hour Double-Header's existence was erased from DC continuity.
