History: Malcolm was born the twin of Barry Allen, but in a bizarre turn of events the doctor that delivered the babies reported Malcolm as stillborn and gave him up for adoption. Malcolm was taken in by the Thawnes who treated him like an animal. When he learned about his true birthright he grew insanely jealous of Barry Allen. He studied magic and became Cobalt Blue, hoping to kill Barry, whom he discovered was secretly Flash II. When Barry died Cobalt Blue felt cheated and dedicated his life to causing misery for Barry's descendants. His mad schemes of revenge would go on for a thousand years before being brought to an end by the time-traveling Flash III.
