Powers: Cheetah had peak human agility and strength and was a ferocious combatant. She worse razor-sharp fingernails that could cut through steel.

History: Debutante Deborah Domaine felt guilty about her privileged life and joined the ecoterrorist group Organization for Ecological Safety. Her reclusive aunt Priscilla Rich summoned her to her deathbed, and there Deborah was kidnapped by the terrorist Kobra. Kobra wanted to recruit Priscilla, the former Wonder Woman foe Cheetah, but decided a newer, younger model would make a better fit. he drove Deborah insane with a series of electric shock treatments combined with imagery about environmental destruction constructed to fuel her righteous anger. Kobra presented her with a Cheetah costume and told her she would be the avenger of nature and savior of animal kind.

Cheetah and Wonder Woman clashed, but after Kobra's defeat she was left to her own devices. She joined the Secret Society of Super-Villains and was later imprisoned in Arkham Asylum.
