History: (Swamp Thing I #21) - Cellanth was a beautiful creature abducted by the madman Solus, a godlike extraterrestrial who’d been banished by his own people and collected oddities from across the galaxy to amus himself. He became enamored with the beautiful Cellanth, and tried to force her into becoming the “queen” of his imaginary empire. Cellanth resisted him, and plotted to free her fellow prisoners, including the Earth creature Swamp Thing. She distracted Solus with her wiles, giving the prisoners a chance to escape, but Solus soon saw through her plans, and was furious. He used his mental powers to make her dance herself to death. He immediately hated himself for killing his “queen,” and clutched her body, giving the prisoners the opportunity to subdue him. The madman died in the encounter with his slaves.
