History:
(Firestorm II #7, Bloodhound #5) - Bloodhound was being transported from Atlanta, Georgia back to lockup when his transport vehicle was assaulted by the nuclear met human Firestorm. Firestorm was a matrix composed of two people, and the hero Jason Rusch made the poor choice of bonding with crime lord Luis Salvador, who dominated the Firestorm-Matrix. Bloodhound once cost Luis, who he d done drug trafficking with in his police officer days, five million dollars and he wanted revenge, taunting Bloodhound for working for the law like the dog he was. Bloodhound put up a fierce struggle, giving Jason the opportunity to break the Firestorm-Matrix. Bloodhound scooped up the wounded Jason and ran into the woods., telling him they both had to focus on survival. They fled to a construction site, but Luis sent his men after them. Bloodhound brutally murdered his men, so Luis gathered local reinforcements. Jason said the only way they d survive was to become the Firestorm-Matrix, but Bloodhound had enough willpower to resist bonding with Jason, and told him to stay out of his head. Luis men attacked and Bloodhound tore through them all. He was ready to snap Luis neck, but Firestorm asked to deal with him. He bonded with Luis again, this time keeping control of Firestorm. He told Luis he really wanted to kill him for the vicious beating he gave his dad before they bonded, but he wouldn't. He gave Luis brain damage that left him crying and whimpering before leaving the scene. The police and Saffron eventually arrived, and took Bloodhound back into custody. He said the outside world was too weird, and he was ready for more jail time.
