Powers: Amorpho was a shapeshifter capable of assuming the features of anyone or anything he encountered. Amorpho needed to consume vast quantities of salt to survive.History: (Plastic Man #21) - The traveler Amorpho arrived on Earth, and after trying on the forms of animals he took on the shape of passing human Woozy Winks. He broke into a factory, restrained a guard and gobbled down sacks of salt for survival. Woozy was blamed and arrested by his friend Plastic Man. Plas found Amorpho disguised as a salt sack to gobblemore salt, but he escaped and assumed Plastic Man’s form. Amorpho and Plas fought, and Plas tied him in knots, forcing him to surrender, and convinced Amorpho to return to the stars.

In the pre-Crisis DC Universe Amorpho lived on Earth-2. Amorpho, like most characters from the golden age Plastic Man stories, may or may not be a part of post-Crisis DC continuity.
Amorpho was originally a Quality Comics character, which DC obtained the rights to in 1956.
