Vivien Leigh (1913-1967) was born Vivian Mary Hartley on Nevember 5, 1913 in Darjeeling,India She was best known for her Academy Award winning portrayal of Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With the Wind (1939) After playing Blanche DuBois in the 1949 London staging of A Streetcar Named Desire, she won her second Oscar for the 1951 film version.She was married twice,Once to Herbert Leigh Holman in December of 1933,they had a daughter Suzanne Holman Farrington born Oct 12,1933.Vivian and Herbert divorced in 1940.Her second and most public marriage was to Lawrence Olivier, August 31,1941,they then divorced Dec 2,1960. Vivian Leigh died July 7,1967 in Eaton Square,London England,her ashaes were scattered at Tickerage Mill,England

Clark Gable was born February 1,1901 in Cadiz, Ohio.His given name at birth was William Clark Gable. He had many early jobs which included a Tire factory worker,Oil driller,Department store salesman and a Telephone lineman. He was married 5 times but the love of his life would alway be his thrid wife Carloe Lombard,they were only able to be together a little less than 3 years for she was killed in a plane crash in Kingman Arizona.After her death he joined the the U.S Air Corps,at the time of his discharge he held the rank of Major.Clark Gable died November 16,1960 in Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Las Angelas California just 4 short months before his son John Clark Gable was born.

Olivia married for a second time to Pierre Galante, April 2,1955 in Paris France,they had a daughter Gisele Galante born July 18,1956,The secon marriage also ended n divorce. Olivia currently resides in Paris, France

Leslie Howard was born April 3,1893 in London,England,he was a Bank clerk before the acting bug bit him.He married Ruth Martin in 1916 their son Ronald Howard was born April 1918,and their daughter Leslie Ruth Howard was born Oct 18,1924.Leslie Howard died June 1,1943 after being shot down over the Bay of Biscay during WWII

She was married twice,once to James Crawford,they divorced and then she married Larry Williams.Hattie Macdaniel died October 26,1952 at the Motion Picture Country Home at Woodland Hills,California

Butterfly McQueen

Buttlerfly McQueen was born January 7,1911 in Tampa Florida the daughter of a stevedore and a domestic, she grew up in Georgia. Originally she studied nursing but a friend suggested she would make a good actress and she began to audition. She made her debut on Broadway in 1937 and gradually made her way into films. Her real name was Thelma,she got the nickname Butterfly from dancing the "Ballet Butterfly" in A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1935. Other occupations include..Dispatcher,Resturannt owner,salesperson,teacher and tour guide. Butterfly Mcqueen died as a result of burns she received in a house fire December 22,1995 in Augusta Georgia. She was 84 years old.
