I really wish you wouldn't do this Kevin." Jade said watching him pack his suitcase.

"I am sorry love, but I have to. It's my job." He said.

"But he's your son!" She screamed at him. "You are never home. That's why we moved out here. So you could spend more time with him. But now, you're back at it again. Going off for a week then coming home for maybe a day or two then leaving again." She said her eyes were full of tears.

"If I could I would change jobs but right now I've got to close this deal and if I don't go I could loose my job." He said.

"Then don't go! Loose your job... at least you'll be home then!" She shouted at him.

"I..." he signed. "Can't. I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you. I promise." He said walking out of the room and down stairs to the taxi that was waiting on him.

"No, you won't." She said under her breath as she watched him leave.
