An Invitation from Arlene and Jesus

An Invitation from Arlene and Jesus

Jesus did it ALL for you. He loves you and wants to be your personal Saviour and Lord of your life. All you need to do is invite Him to come into your life as I did.

First, accept that you are in need of a Saviour. We all our. Not one of us is good enough by ourselves to enter the holy place called Heaven.
Romans 3:22,23 says: "This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..."

Romans 6:23 says: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God provided a way out for us, a way to avoid paying the penalty of death (eternal separation from Him). We can choose to accept the gift of Christ's sacrifice and be guaranteed eternity in the presence of God in Heaven!

John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Romans 5:8 says: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
(That means you can ask Him to be your Saviour right NOW! You don't have to clean up your act FIRST or wait to become a better person before you ask Him!)

Ask Jesus to come into your life and He will. It's a promise.
Revelation 3:20 says: "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with Me."

You can make this invitation simply by praying the following prayer or something similar. The words don't need to be exact. Jesus will know if you are sincere, and He will understand what you want to do!

Dear Father God,
I know that I am not perfect, that I am a sinner and need Your help. I thank You that you sent your Son Jesus to die for my sins, to pay the price which I could never pay myself. Right now, I accept this gift from you and ask Jesus to come into my life and be my Lord and Savior. Help me to walk in Your ways everyday. Thank you for this wonderful gift! In Jesus name I THANK YOU!!!
Amen.

If you prayed that prayer you are now part of the family of God. Welcome! Please write and tell me so I can pray for you! I pray that you will read His words for you in the Bible and talk to Him everyday and really get to know Him. God is awesome!

Remember: You can't earn your own way to Heaven. Jesus did it ALL FOR YOU!

(Everything I Do) I Do It For You

Look into My eyes - you will see
What you mean to Me
Search your heart - search your soul
And when you find Me there you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for
You know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

Look into My heart - you will find
There's nothin' there to hide
Take me as I am - take My life
I would give it all I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for
I can't help it there's nothin' I want more
Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the way

Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you....
Walk the wire for you - Ya I'd die for you

Ya know it's true
Everything I do - I do it for you

A GIFT

Father created the perfect gift,
and one Christmas morning
He sent it to Mary.
She kept it guarded safely
over the years.
She polished it and cherished it,
knowing it was to be handed over
when the time came.

The gift was fully paid for
with the blood
of one unblemished Lamb--
blood that a thousand other lambs
could never provide.
When it was paid,
the cry went up,
"It is finished."

A man named Joseph
wrapped the gift
in linen fine,
and it was sealed
in a tomb of stone.

As children do at Christmas,
the angels opened the gift
early one morning.
And though it was not Christmas
the day was just as special
and the gift more precious than any.

There is nothing left for us to do.
Indeed, "It is finished".
The gift was given,
nurtured for us,
wrapped for us,
and even opened for us.
There is nothing we can do now
...but accept it.
Can you?
Will you?
