WFW Thursday Night Rage (2/11/99)

(The fans are going nuts as the packed arena is being shoke up. Clips from past cards and other events are playing on the jumbo tron! The camera shows the big logo and the screen goes to a new face, a man known for his fed the WC, Billy Jay, he standing with fed regulars such as Phil Smith, Johnny Bravo, and Jumbo Hastings.) 

Billy Jay: Welcome all to this live event of some of the top athletes in Wrestling today! I was called in by the prez Josh Clinton to be here on tonights card and here I am! What a great card to be at! We have the Tag Team Belts going up for grabs! The IC and American Belts on the line along with a Broiler Room match, and a big triple threat match with about a hundred stipulations! 

(Billy Jay wears a suit with the WC logo on it and when he turns to look out over the arena the back of his coat says: https://www.angelfire.com/al/BILLYjayBJ   Fans are going wild and the regular announcer file out taking there spots as Billy Jay follows.) 
IC Championship
Messiah vs. Billy X 

The IC Belt flashes on the big screen as Messiah makes his way out to a huge fan reaction, they boo and boo. Then Billy X struts out fans go nuts again. The gold is in both mens eyes as the bell rings! Messiah known for the devastating Masked Armeggedon finisher. The fans go nuts as they two both go flying to the mat. Messiah using his oversized body with a kneeling choke slam. Then Messiah goes on a big run with knee drops and elbows. Messiah lifts him sends him over the ropes. Billy X being overpowered. Messiah follows him ringside and they have a short boxing match as BX grabs a chair and hits a chair shot knocking the big man to his knee. Billy tosses him into a table via irish whip and rolls into the ring hoping for a 10 count on Messiah. No chance as Messiah rolls in on 7. The crowd roars as Billy kicks a low blow on Messiah as he tries a choke hold. Billy X hops to the second ropes and hits a bull dog and rolls up Messiah for the one two....oh my... Messiah is back up! Billy X is shocked, Messiah is pissed he's on a rampage. Blow after blow. Billy is in the corner and in trouble. A big belly to belly suplex and it looks like Messiah is going for it all with the Masked Armageddon! He's got Billy X under his legs on the top rope oh my here he goes... hold on a sec, Billy is trying to counter it, he's not gonna get out of it. Messiah has him secured again! Billy X tries to counter again as the fans cheer him on oh my he's got out of it! Messiah is over Billy's shoulder on the top ropes and Billy falls backwards back into the ring landing on the skull of Messiah! Here's the big roll up and the pin! Yes it's all over! 

WINNER: Billy X IC Champion 

Billy Jay: That was a great battle, Billy, by the way what a great name! He used the fans and beat that big guy. What a nice match it was indeed! Now were gonna see the American Title Match! 

American Championship
Chad Sexton vs. Jeffrey D. Major 

Here we go! These two are the epitome of extreme wrestlers! Chad has 4' but Major has got 50 pounds on Chad. Right of the bell Major uses his wait advantage with a big take down. After a ducked closeline, Chad tried a hip toss but Major wouldn't budge and the big turned it into a nasty face breaker! The fans went wild. Then a big heel kick by Chad put Major off balance and he stumbles thru the ropes and onto the apron. Chad taunt at him to get back, in but Major has a different idea he invites him to come to ringside with him where they can fight for the gold extreme style. Chad agrees and hops the ropes. They battle it out. Major uses a whole table and bends it around Chad but Chad took the broken peice of table and hit Major, Major blocked it and slammed Chad already busted face into the gaurd rail fans went wild as Major yanked Chap into the ring and called for his finisher. Chad gave a desperation head butt and a front faced leg sweep. Then Chad went for a leg drop but Major moved and then tossed him off the ropes hitting a shoulder block then called for the choke slam again and this time he hit it, and hit it big. He covered for the big win! 

WINNER: Major The American Champ 

Billy Jay: What a match! Major just took advantage of his weight disadvantage! Chad gave him battle but just didn't have his number tonight! 
Next we have a non title match this should be a good one! 

Non-Title Match
Pinhead vs. Johnny Gunn 

Both men make their way out and each stare each other down as the bell goes off! Both of these lightweight high flyers are top notch athletes. The match starts fast pace with a reversed irish whip and a simutanious close line. Both men hops back to their feet. PinHeads recieves a DDT and then Gunn went on a roll. Two drop kicks and another DDT. Pinhead finally reversed a hip toss and put on an ankle lock, rope break. A flying Cross Body by Pinhead evens things up, but when he tried that same move a second time Gunn caught him and gave him a backbreaker! It was all Gunn for a good time and Gunn tried to pull Pinhead to the top ropes and Pinhead hit a knee and got loose but after two more hits Pinhead was pulled up top once again but this time he hit a DDT reverse and then rolled up Gunn and the win! 

WINNER: Pinhead 

Billy Jay: Pinhead did a great job of saving his energy until his opponent was vulnerable! Nice strategy! 
Now, on to a best of three match up! This shall be very very interesting! 

Non-Title Match/Best of 3 Falls Series
Psycho vs. Wesley Brown 

Well, here comes the scaffold and here comes Psycho and now comes Brown. The bell has rung on this best of three match. Psycho starts fast up high on the scaffold! Both men very eqaul in strength and size. Psycho makes a great move to avoid Brown early. They are going at it strong. Brown with a few big hits all followed by him strateling Psycho and pummeling him with punches! The fans are going nuts as Psycho is already bleeding in the lip. Brown is in over his head now as Psycho is going nuts with three heel kicks and now a gut wrench powerbomb. Fans love this guy. He runs up the turnbuckle and does a moonsault landing square on Brown. He covers it's a kick out. The battle goes back and fourth for a long time. The scaffold shaking. Brown and Psycho both almost fall over the edge but they hang on to the ropes! They pull themselves back into the ring. Psycho hits a drop kick and climbs to the top ropes. Brown shoves the ref into the ropes forcing Psycho to slip and have to reclimb the ropes. Brown gets up and hits Psycho standing on the top roeps then climbs up with him and hits the x-Factor off the top ropes, cover and the first fall goes to Wesley Brown via the Whirl Wind!

Psycho kicked out a few moments too late, but they are both back up as this second match will be a falls count anywhere match! The fans are going nuts as the ref explains round two's rules! Brown jumps the gun but Psycho kicks him and hits a Samoan drop. Psycho tries a jumping splash but Brown catches him and laughs then hits a Atomic Drop. Psycho goes over the top ropes. Brown follows! They battle into the railing and over the railing! Both using chairs and beer cups and steps. All over the arena. The crowd is going nuts as Brown just hit a power bomb on the cement. Brown falls over in exuast. Both men down. Psycho uing the step rail and starts climbing up the steps. Brown goes after him. Psycho hides behind some fans as Brown comes up the steps. Psycho dives at him forcing him to crash into a ton of chairs! The fans go nuts. Then Psycho acting fast brings him over to the ledge and sets him out for the Top Rope Frankensteiner off the edge of the stairthing, down about 20 feet onto another platform. Psycho jumps and hits it. The fans go nuts. They crash through the wooden platform and Psycho makes the cover the ref has to climb up getting a boost from fans. Then he slides to the wrekage and count the three!

Fans are going wild as the ref is helping Brown and Psycho to the ring for round three. This will be a barbed wire fire match. They will be inside a ring wrapped with barbed wire and flaims! Everything is lit, both men are battered and bloody. A big gash on Browns back is bleeding down his leg. The fans love it! Theres the belll. Neither guy attacks right away untiul the ref forces them to start. A falling DDT hit by Psycho and they both lay there and Psycho covers in what looks to be an easy pin, but a late kick out. Brown is trying to battle back. They fight along the side both getting tossed near the fire and getting cut by the barbed wire. Psycho istosses face first into it and blood runs down his neck along with his lip. Fans love it as Psycho hits a suplex landing in a puddle of blood splattering it all over. Psycho and Brown tangle in the corner and they shove each other at the fire. Both men get lit up at the same time! Brown shakes out the flams right away. The ref has to help put the fire out on Psycho as Psycho shakes his head trying to put the fire out, Mankind jumps out from under the ring and nails Psycho with a chair!! Brown dives behind him and rolls him up as he burns and the ref counts for three and Brown wins! 

WINNER: Brown 2-1 via a roll up while Psycho was on fire 

Billy Jay: That was great! Fire, Blood, big moves, scaffolds! Talk about entertainment! 
Next match here we come! 

Iceman Jason McGrew vs Phoenix Thunder 

Both men getting a good reaction. PT a little bigger as is tall, but they weigh about the same. Jason McGrew comes second and goes right into an attack. The match was a brut battle, with take downs and DDTs. Both men using the 10 hit rule to effect. Back and forth after about 20 minutes of close calls and 2 counts the match was getting close to ending. PT tried to set up the top ropes DDT but McGrew used elbows to get free. Phoenix twice got out of possible Stunners. Finally Phoenix Thunder was sent hard into the corner and was splashed, PT came strolling out of the corner all dizzy and McGrew kicked him and hit the Ice Cold Stunner to perfection and got the fast pin! 

WINNER: Iceman Jason McGrew 

Billy Jay: Another even battle to the end! Are you ready for a broiler room brawl??? Here it comes! Both men are entering the Boiler room! 

Boiler Room Brawl
Mankind vs. Joe Jackson 

The ref says go as Mankind attacks first. Mankind is sent fast into a wall. Jackson a brawler tries to use Mankinds body as a punching bag until Mankind hit a kick and then spits off a chair shot and then hits a short arm closeline. Fans can be heard outside the boiler room. Jackson is beat with a garbage can lid until Mankind is kicked in the knee then Jackson crawls behind and rolls him up. Fast kickout. Jackson hits another chair shot but finds Mankind craving more. A broiler is what Mankind is sent head first into, the boiler is bent and starts spitting out a ton of hot steam. Both men burning by the heat and very exausted. The camera has no sight of what is happening now. Only sounds can be heard. Mankind you hear yelling then you hear a series of clangs and smashes. Mankind stumbles to the ground out of the mist with a bloody mug and turns right back around and charges into the mist. The ref comes falling out of the mist next he is hurt as well. Mankind comes once again out of the smoke and Mankind has Jackson in a cross face submission and shoves his face into the camera. Then Mankind hits a suplex from the submission and then pulls out the Socko! Fans can be heard going nuts and Jackson rolls back into the smoke and all of a sudden Mankind is tackled and pinned but the ref only gets to two and then Mankind kicks out. Jackson tires to take of Socko but Mankind grabs a chair with his other hand and hits Jackson in the head and as Jackson falls to the ground Mankind puts in mr. Socko and Joe Jackson is unconsious and the rel calls for the match. 

WINNER: Mankind 

Billy Jay: What a match! Mankind took more punishment but came away the victor! 
Now onto the Triple Threat Battle! Coal Minor's Glove is being rised in the cage. The cell is being lowered, the officials with the gas fuel to light the flames are on there way out. The fans are going nuts as Ryan Burns comes out first. 

Triple Threat/Cell on Fire/Coal Miner's Glove/Knockout Match Ryan Burns vs. Havok vs. Blizzard 

Then Blizzard comes out and he enters the cage. Havok is last to enter they lock the door and light the fire. The fans are going wild! The bell rings and the fans go nuts. All three men start a huge brawl. Fists all over the place. Soon Blizzard is in control after sending both men into the flaiming cage. Havok tries to hang on to the cage so Blizzard can't irish whip him again but he can't hang on. Blizzard is attacked by Ryan Burns. Both men attack Blizzard. Then Ryan hits a hurricanranna on Havok but Havok rolls back to his feet and then hits a drop kick! Blizzard hits a spear type move to Havok. Then Burns hits a bulldog on Blizzard. Blizzard and Ryan lock up but Havok takes advantage hitting a double closeline. The action continues at this pace for a long time. At one point Blizzard is on fire on his arm and as he rolls on the ground to put it out he trips Havok and then gets stomped in the face and Blizzard seemed to be knocked out, but when the ref checked he got bumbed face first into the cell so he couldn't drop the arm the third time. Blizzard awoke about the same time as the ref got up and as Ryan and Havok battled in the corner Blizzard waited for someone to turn around. And it happened to be Havok and Blizzard hit the meltdown. Ryan Burns was sent sprawling into the cell face first and he fell into the fire and his hair was on fire as he lay unconsious. The fans went wild as the ref put out the fire and then dropped his arm all three times. The ref opened the door and pushed him out. The glove still dangeling high above the cage. No one able to make it up fast enough. Blizzard hit a kick but Havok went of the cage and ran at Blizzard pulling him off the cage and then hitting a DDT into the cage. Then Havok shoved his face near the fire but Blizzard faught free. Havok then hit a knee the stomach and hit a Climb to Death, Steinbuster into a Powerbomb. Blizzard looked out but he rolled to his knees. Havok amazed hit another drop kick and then hit another Climb to Death, he got up on the third drop of the arm! Fans went wild, as Blizzard seemed to have new life but when he was backbody dropped into the cage and then Climbed to Death another time it was all over! The fans went nuts as Havok climbed and got Coal Minor's Glove and pulls it down. Fans went nuts! 

WINNER: Havok via three Climbs to Deaths 

Billy Jay: That was simply fabulous! What a night! Now it's time for the big Tag Title Match up! Razor Ramon stunned the fed last week and must defend the titles against the tag team of Shocker and Soldier Syxx! 

Tag Team Championship 
Razor Ramon vs. The Shocker and Soldier Syxx 

Here we go! "Make Me Say Ughhh!!!" plays and Soldier Syxx and Shocker come out. Razor Ramon will have to fight 2 on 1 cause his partner is not gonna be fighting with him this week. The fans are going nuts. Theres the bell. Ramon is double teamed early. Bromell makes his way down the ramp in street cloths and stands at ringside giving no indications of anything. The fans are going nuts. After about 15 minutes Razor Ramon cannot put up anymore of a fight! He's hit the Razor's Edge to Shocker but Syxx made the save and two against one just isn't right. Syxx goes up top as Shocker the illegal man hits the Electric Shock and then rolls out of the ring as Syxx hits the Moonsault off the top ropes! Fans are going nuts Syxx is making the tag and Shocker is gonna make the cover, hold on one sec. Bromell has just dove in and now rolled up Shocker! The fans are going nuts. The ref hesitates a sec then counts! It's all over. Bromell grabs his belt from the ref and walks out as the fans go nuts. Shocker and Syxx stunned and horrified! Razor Roman has no idea that he has just got the The Tag Title Win! 

WINNER: Razor Ramon and Bromell via crazyness 
Billy Jay: What a night! What a night!
