WFW Thursday Night Rage (2/4/99)

[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAGE" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play, as we are taken inside the arena where thousands of screaming fans are standing. The camera pans the crowd and brings us to the announcers table at ringside where Jumbo Hastings is standing.]

JH: Welcome everyone to Thursday Night Rage!! We are live from the Cumberland County Crown Coliseum from Fayetteville, NC!! Tonight we have 11 matches for you with 3 Titles on the line!! We also have a BIG Main Event between the team of Doom and Ramon vs. the team of Messiah and Mysterio!! Lets go to the action!!

#1 The Shocker .v. John Tallman

JH: Tallman starts to pound on Shocker. Slam by Tallman. Leg Drop by Tallman. Suplex by Tallman. Elbow Drop by Tallman. DDT by Tallman. Tallman puts Shocker on the top rope. Shocker fights back. He knocks down Tallman. Flying Body Press by Shocker. Piledriver by Shocker. Power Bomb by Shocker. Pedigree by Shocker. Here comes Shocker's new move. The Electric Shock by Shocker!! Shocker wins!!!

#2 Masked Murder .v. Joe Jackson
(Hell in a Cell)

JH: They trade punches once they are both inside the cell. Clothesline by Murder. Slam by Murder. German Suplex by Murder. Leg Drop by Murder. Murder picks up Jackson. Jackson fights back. Clothesline by Jackson. Jawbreaker by Jackson. Neckbreaker by Jackson. Elbow Drop by Jackson. Vertical Suplex by Jackson. Jackson applies a Boston Crab to Murder. But Murder grabs the ropes. Murder slides outside. Jackson follows. Jackson tries to ram Murder into the cell, but Murder elbows Jackson and rams him into the cell!! Jackson reverses a whip and slings Murder into the steps! Jackson throws Murder back in. Jackson uses The Jackson Jam Slam on Murder!! 1, 2, 3!! Jackson wins!

#3 Warrick .v. Elric

JH: Both men are in the ring. Wait, Warrick grabs a mic and calls out Messiah. Wait, here comes Messiah. What is going on here! Warrick then says, "I
want my Intercontinental Title back!" Messiah looks confused then, Warrick says, "Let me get this damned mask off!" Warrick takes the mask off to reveal himself as Billy X!! Then X demands a match with Messiah. Here comes Chad Sexton and P-Nut! They attack Messiah!! Wait, Elric lays down and Billy X covers him. 1, 2, 3!! X wins!! Wait, the lights are off!! Here comes Angel of Death! Sexton, P-Nut, X, and Elric leave the ring! Death grabs a mic and says, "Thunder I am coming after you Sunday!"

#4 CO: Havok .v. Blizzard

JH: Havoc is the former Dragon. He now has a new attitude. They lock up. Armbar Takedown by Havok. Slam by Havok. Piledriver by Havok. German Suplex by Havok. Low Blow by Blizzard. DDT by Blizzard. Piledriver by Blizzard. Suplex by Blizzard. Lou Thez Press by Blizzard. Blizzard goes for a Spear, but Havok moves out of the way. There is the Climb to Death by Havok! Havok goes up top. He goes for the Bonecrusher, but Blizzard moves. Blizzard goes for the White Out, but Havok falls behind Blizzard. Cradle by Havok! 1, 2, 3! Havok wins!!!

JH: They lock up. Armbar by Rocha. Slam by Rocha. Neckbreaker by Rocha. Camel Clutch by Rocha. Elbow Drop by Rocha. Suplex by Rocha. DDT by Rocha. Rocha goes for the Wind Below, but Doom backdrops Rocha. Clothesline by Rocha. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by "D". Leg Drop by "D". DDT by "D". Power Bomb by "D". "D" whips Rocha into the ropes. "D" misses a clothesline and Rocha bounces off the ropes and connects with a Rolling Lariat. Wind Below by Rocha!! 1, 2, 3!! Rocha wins!

#6 CO: Slayer .v. WCW: Johnny Gunn
(Handcuff Match)

JH: Both men are handcuffed together. They start out punching each other. Clothesline by Slayer. Slam by Slayer. Elbow Drop by Slayer. Suplex by Slayer. Kick by Slayer. Drop Kick by Slayer. Slayer pick up Gunn for a Spinning Powerbomb, but Gunn reverses it into a Hurricanrana. Rolling Splash by Gunn. Asai Moonsault by Gunn. Gunn slings Slayer into the ropes. Slayer grabs the ropes and slides outside. Gunn follows him. They fight their way into the crowd. They fight to the back where the concession stands. Both men have been counted out!! Panther, who was dressed as a vendor, nails Slayer with a pool stick! X-Bomb by Panther and Gunn on the floor!! They continue to beat on him, until officials break it up!

#7 4H: Jeffrey D. Major .v. WCW: Panther

JH: They lock up. Drop Kick by Major. Slam by Major. Spinning Heel Kick by Major. Major goes to the top rope. Panther is back up and throws Major to the mat. Hurricanrana by Panther. DDT by Panther. Panther Cutter by Panther. Panther puts Major on top. Panther uses a Pantherplex on Major. Panther goes for Da' Bomb, but Major backdrops Panther. Clothesline by Major. Major goes for a Choke Slam. But Panther kicks Major. Here comes Rocha!! Panther is back up now. He talks to the ref. Rocha drags Major outside. Wind Below on the outside by Rocha on Major! He rolls him back in. Da' Bomb by Panther! 1, 2, 3!! Panther wins!!

#8 Pinhead .v. WP: Bam Bam Bigelow
(Lightweight Championship)

JH: They lock up. Slam by Bigelow. Leg Drop by Bigelow. Hurricanrana by Bigelow. Backbreaker by Bigelow. Bigelow goes up top. Flying Elbow Drop by Bigelow. Pinhead punches Bigelow. Suplex by Pinhead. Hurricanrana by Pinhead. Pinhead goes up top. Flying Leg Drop by Pinhead. Pinhead puts Bigelow back on top. He goes for a Pindrop. Here comes Gunn! He hits Pinhead and Bigelow with a chair! Kick and a Stunner by Untouchable. Untouchable starts to climb the cage. He is at the top. Bromell is up. Bromell jumps and grabs Untouchable's legs. Bromell climbs up the cage. He punches Untouchable. Superplex by Bromell. Bromell is up. Backbreaker and a Neckbreaker by Bromell. German Suplex by Bromell. DDT by Bromell. Tombstone piledriver by Bromell. Here comes Pinhead. He starts to climb the cage. He is at the top. At the same time, Bromell has climbed the cage. Here comes Psycho with a chair. He climbs the cage. Untouchable is up and he pulls down Bromell. Pinhead is in the cage. Psycho is behind him. Psycho nails Pinhead with the chair! Psycho swings the chair at Untouchable, but he ducks and nails Bromell with the chair!! Untouchable throws Psycho into the cage. Untouchable then opens the door and leaves through it! Untouchable is the NEW Hardcore Champion! Bromell looks mad! Psycho says he is sorry. Bromell and Psycho leave together!

#10 Iceman Jason McGrew .v. Chad Sexton
(American Championship)

JH: They lock up. Headlock by Sexton. Backbreaker by Sexton. Side Walk Slam by Sexton. Elbow Drop by Sexton. Leg Drop by Sexton. Suplex by Sexton. Slam by Sexton. DDT by Sexton. Power Bomb by Sexton. Sexton puts Iceman on the top rope. He goes for a Drum Stick, but Iceman pushes Sexton away. Flying Clothesline by Iceman. Lou Thez Press by Iceman. Elbow by Iceman. German Suplex by Iceman. Kick and an Ice Cold Stunner by Iceman!! Here comes Phoenix Thunder! He nails Iceman with a chair! That is it! Iceman wins by DQ!!!

JH: Before the match, Iceman sits at ringside. Doom and Messiah start it off. Piledriver by Doom. Slam by Doom. Leg Drop by Doom. DDT by Doom. Doom tags Ramon. Messiah tags Mysterio. Clothesline by Mysterio. Reverse DDT by Mysterio. Mysterio goes for a Mysterious Edge, but Ramon slides behind Mysterio. Kick and a Razor's Edge!! Ramon tags out to Doom. Here comes Messiah! All 4 men are fighting! During this, the ref gets knocked to the outside. Here comes Iceman! He nails Messiah with a chair! Doom and Mysterio fight on the outside! Wait, Ice Cold Stunner by Iceman on Ramon! Ramon falls on top of Messiah! Iceman throws the ref back in. 1, 2, 3!! Ramon and �oom win!! Doom comes back in the ring! He nails Ramon!! What the HELL!! Doomsday Driver by Doom on Ramon! Here comes Psycho and Bromell!! Doom leaves through the crowd! Iceman does too!

What a night! We have a NEW Champion and Doom has turned on Ramon! We are just 3 days away from Hostile Takeover! Tune in for The Prez's press conference in a couple of hours! I will see you Sunday!
