Thursday Night Rage (9/23/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAGE" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play, as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and ends
at the announce table where Jumbo Hastings is sitting.]
JH: Welcome everyone to Thursday Night Rage!! We are live from the WFW Arena in Los Angeles, CA! Tonight we have 6 matches for you including 2 Title matches plus a Non-Title Match between World Champion, Johnny Kool and Billy X! But without any more delay let's...Wait!
("Ice Ice Baby" booms out over the PA and the fans erupt in unison, the cheers are overwhelming. Johnny Kool steps out onto the ramp way, he's dressed in his wrestling attire. Bright blue tights, with white writing down the sides and yellow flashes, his hair his tied back behind him and shades are pushed up onto his head. He also has ties tied around his biceps. The WFW title is draped over his right shoulder. He steps into the ring to even louder cheers and holds the belt up for the fans, he takes the mic from Johnny Bravo.)
JK:-"Hey Kool Kats, welcome to the JK show. And tonight you fans and admirers of JK are in for a treat because tonight you get to see "Ice" put a nobody, a peon, a complete imbecile well and truly in his place. And yes i'm talking about you young William, you think that tonight is your great opportunity, you think tonight you are going to put yourself in World title contention, well well young William you are sadly mistaken. Because you see you weren't held back by me, or the President, you are down at the bottom of the ladder because you have minimal in ring talent and you bore the hell outta all these great people every time you open your mouth. And when I teamed with you, I carried you on my coattail just like with my current partner, that crazy son of a bitch, Psycho."
(Without warning the lights go out and darkness fills the arena. The lights return with Psycho stood nose to nose with the WFW champion. Psycho wears combat boots, Camoflague cut-offs, and a sleevles black
Misfits shirt. he is wearing tape around his wrists and has the Hardcore title around his waist. He whispers something to Kool and they start trading blows. The lights go out for about two minutes when they return on Kool is hanging, handcuffed to the bottom of the mastertron out cold, Psycho pulls a mic out of his cut-offs and begins to speak. He faces the motionless Kool as he speaks.)
Psycho: Kool don't ever strike the man that controls your mind, I am the master of mind games, you will bacome a member of the Nest wheather you like it or not. The next time you even think about hitting me will be the last time you think about anything, Crow, Shocker, I'm coming for you two. Watch behind you I may personally come and get you and I may send a member of the Nest!
(Just as psycho finishes talking he turns toward the ring and stands in his human cross, a man a little shorter than Psycho comes out, but you can't see his face, becuase his hair is covering his eyes. He is dressed in Jeans with holes where the knees were, tan boots, and a UPS(United Pot Smokers) t-shirt. He un handcuffs Kool and draps him over his shoulder Psycho, drops his arms and the mic and turns, then Psycho and the mysteroius man walk out, the man carrying Kool on his shoulders.)
JH: What the HELL was that all about?!?! Man we have not had a match yet and I am already confused! Lets take a break!

#1 Joe Jackson vs. Johnny Blaze
JH: Blaze is out first. Jackson comes out next. And right way Jackson starts punching Blaze. Jackson throws Blaze outside. Jackson goes outside and slings Blaze into the steps. Jackson now grabs Blaze and rams his face into the guardrail! Jackson then slings Blaze right into the ring post! Jackson rolls Blaze back in and Jackson follows. Neckbreaker by Jackson. Jackson now going to town with kicks right to the face of Blaze! Jackson is not raking at Blaze's eyes! Jackson has lost his mind. He picks up Blaze and hits a DDT. Cover by Jackson! 1, 2, kickout! Jackson now picks up Blaze and goes for a Belly-to-Belly Suplex, but Blaze somehow blocks it and rakes Jackson's eyes! T-Bone Suplex by Blaze. Reverse Powerbomb by Blaze. Blaze now picks up Jackson and hits an X-Factor! Cover by Blaze! 1, 2, kickout! Blaze picks up Jackson. He slings Jackson into the corner. Blaze charges in with a Running Clothesline, but Jackson ducks low and catches Blaze and drops Blaze right across the ring post! Blaze is busted open! He could be out too! Wait Jackson picks up Blaze and he hits the Jackson Jam Slam!! Cover by Jackson! 1, 2, 3!! Jackson wins!!! Jackson had a good gameplan and Blaze made 1 mistake and it cost him! Wait here comes Daredevil! He runs into the ring and him and Jackson starts punching it out! Wait Pinhead is out! He attacks Daredevil and Jackson and Pinhead start to wear down Daredevil with punches. Jackson and Pinhead go for a Double Clothesline, but Daredevil ducks and turns around and low blows both men! This is crazy! Daredevil starts pounding on both men! Finally officials come down to break this up! This is not over folks! We will be back!
[Commercial...]
(The picture slowly fades in to see a money shaped pool and two beautiful women sitting by the pool side. Mo Taylor slowly steps out of the cabana house in his silk robe and house slippers. As he slowly approaches the girl with a bottle of champagne in his hand he spots the camera, sets down the bottle, and motions for the ladies to leave. A deep laugh begins to pass through his mouth as he begins to speak.)
I know all of you people watching this interview are saying wow. I know, I know...... but just calm down!!. Its me the one and only, true hustla Mo Taylor, here to show you what you cant have. I mean look at all of this (waves his hand across the yard, to show off the pool, women, and other extravagant things) do you think you can actually own this? I doubt it... but anyway lets get back to why I am here.
I'm here to show yall WFW superstars some real class. I mean when im on my Lear Jet flyin to France and I happen to catch the WFW on my TV, I see some low-class, cheap A** talent strutin around the ring like they can do it all. That's the thing that pisses me off. But have no fear, I am here to bring some class and prestige to the WFW. From the fans, to the wrestlers, to the staff, I mean everything that is associated with the WFW.
(A butler comes to the pool side and hands Mr. Taylor a phone. He talks on it briefly and send it back with the butler.)
As you can see I am a busy man, so ill leave yall with this. I know when all of you people are done watching this interview you are gonna go dream and wish you could be like me. But, when I make my debut and I spot the waves of "Money" Mo Taylor signs I will know stupid pieces of thrash want to gain to class. And I the Cashmoney Millionaire am here to expose you to the finer arts. Now get this damn camera off of my property.
(Motions to security guard and quickly walks off. As the guards approach fuzz begins to flicker the picture and a hand hits the lens changing the screen to black.)

#2 Daredevil vs. Matt Lake
(Falls Count Anywhere Match)
(Daredevil's music plays and Daredevil comes out to the ring and stands in the middle of the ring,flexes a few times,then waits....)
(Matt Lake starts making his way down the isle,as the whole crowd is looking,to see this massive guy,he ignores all the comments being made and jumps over the top rope,inside the ring...the ref rings the bell)
JH:Remember folks,this match is falls count anywhere,that means anything goes here.Daredevil runs off the ropes and puts a shoulder in Matt Lake,he dosen't move.Again he runs off the rope and puts a shoulder into him,again Matt Lake dosen't move.Daredevil starts punching on Matt Lake,with Matt Lake standing there motionless.Matt Lake takes Daredevil by the neck,picks him up and tosses him,my god..Matt Lake just picked up a 300lbs man and tossed him like a rag doll!! Lake scoops Daredevil up and picks him up over his head,MY GOD..HE JUST TOSSED HIM OUTSIDE THE RING!!!Matt Lake has just shown us some strength we've never seen before in the WFW folks.Lake to the outside,and picks Daredevil up by his hair,and MY GOD..he just threw him onto the spanish annouce table,face first! Daredevil is busted open.and he's not moving,while Matt Lake starts pounding away on Daredevil. Daredevil lowblows Lake though! Daredevil gets up and grabs a chair, ooo..a smack to the face with that steel chair..Matt's busted open to,another one...right to the mid-area,Lake is going to have internal problems with a few more of those.Lake now starts to get up,slowly..but another chair shot to the back just put all attempts of going anywhere away.Daredevil for the pin,1..2..NO!! Matt Lake kicks out of that one.Lake now to his feet,Daredevil tries a football tackle on Lake,and he dosen't move! Lake takes Daredevil by his neck,and tosses him over the guardrail,onto the pavement.Lake jumps over the guardrail,and starts kicking daredevil,square in the ribs.he scoops him up and the two starts punching at each other up the isle! there in the back now,there going back towards the exit,Lake takes Daredevil and throws him right through a Pop Machine..GLASS IS EVERYWHERE..Daredevil is bleeding very badly now!Lake scoops him up out of the glass,and,no..daredevil punches Lake in the face..and another..another..a low blow Lake is down..Lake is down! Daredevil,looks for something to hit him with,he picks up a metal garbage can,and smacks him right in the face,Lake is hurt..bad.Daredevil with the pin...1...2..KICKOUT!! Lake isn't giving up that easy folks! Daredevil tries to pick Lake up by his hair,but that isn't going to happen.Lake now starts to stand up,while he has Daredevil punching at his body,Lake is up..and he's mad.These two men are punching each other,back..and forth,and Lake throws Daredevil right through the exit door,these two men are outside,my god!! Daredevil gets up slowly,and starts running!!No wait he comes back with a 2x4 Lake tries to counter it,but no!!he smacks him right in the chest with it!Lake is down..and he's holding his chest..Daredevil jumps on Lake's chest and starts punching him in the face..Lake is mad!! He palms his left hand right over Daredevil's face and throws him off of him..these two are again punching the hell out of each other,Lake now whips Daredevil right into an old car,Daredevils out cold!! this match is over!!! Daredevil stands on his feet,Lake turns around and sees that Daredevil's up..he smacked him right in the skull with that metal chair!!! Daredevil has just lost this match,but no Lake isn't done yet!!!He picks the daredevil up,what's he doing? MY GOD..DON'T DO IT!! He's setting him up for a powerbomb,he's going to powerbomb him onto the street!! Daredevils up..and..MY GOD..Daredevil reverses the Powerbomb into a Facebuster!! Lake went right through the glass!!! Daredevil opens the car door,and drags Lake out onto the street...1..2..3! Daredevil wins!! What a match!! Unbelievable effort on Lake's part in his debut, but Daredevil pulled out the victory! We should see more great things from Lake though! Wait here comes Jackson and Pinhead again! We will be right back!

#3 Brian Williams vs. Gang Starr
JH: Gang Starr starts off with a arm bar, Williams straight into the eyes and slips a knee into Starr's midsection. Clothesline by Williams knocks Starr down, drops an elbow on Starr and another. Starr back up, single leg pick by Starr and locks on a leg grapevine. Williams powers out but Starr back to the leg, half crab by Starr and Williams powers out. Both men up and begin to trade blows, Williams comes up with the advantage, swinging neckbreaker by Williams, snap mare by Williams and locks on a chinlock. He's really wrenching on Starr's neck. Starr back to his feet elbows to the stomach of Williams breaks the hold, Starr off the ropes dropkick by Starr, atomic drop by Starr he's building some momentum. 1,2 kickout by Williams. Backbreaker by Starr followed by a vertical suplex, 1,2 Williams once again able to kick out. Starr whips Williams off the ropes, Starr drops his head and Williams right back to work on the neck, clubbing forearm shots by Williams he has Starr down. Kicks to the back of the neck by Williams and now locks on a camel clutch, pulling up on the neck. He releases the hold, sets Starr up hangman by Williams, neckbreaker by Williams, 1,2 Starr just able to kickout. Reverse DDT by Williams more damage to the neck. 1,2 kickout again by Starr, hey this guys tough. Starr fighting back now with right hands, Starr hits a DDT both men down. The ref counts 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 both men back up. Bulldog by Starr, Starr dets up Williams bug time piledriver, Starr has this thing turned around. Williams off the ropes back body drop by Starr. Williams back into a corner, whipped to the other side, Starr charges shoulder tackle, oh no Williams out of the way and Starr's neck and shoulder rammed into the steel post. Williams to the top tornado DDT, that must be it Starr's neck cannot take much more of the this punishment. Cover by Williams 1,2,3 no, no foot on the ropes by Starr. But Starr looks really hurt, he's staggering around, Williams picks him up. He puts Starr up top. Williams climbs up top. Starr recovers and starts punching Williams! Wait Starr pushes Williams off the ropes and jumps onto him to the mat with a Flying Body Press from the top! Both men hit hard! They look hurt, but Starr is on top of Williams! The ref counts! 1, 2, 3!! Starr wins!!! Great Match from both men! These are two young guns in the WFW! We will be back!

[The cameras go backstage where Jackson and Pinhead are assaulting Daredevil again. Jackson hangs onto Daredevil, and Pinhead goes to nail Daredevil but Daredevil ducks and Pinhead hits Jackson instead. Pinhead then starts pounding on Daredevil. Jackson gets up and starts shoving Pinhead. Pinhead shoves back. Here comes officals to break this up. The scene goes back to the ring.]
#4 Berringer vs. Jakal
(American Championship)
JH: This match is now underway,Jakal comes out strong and nails Berringer with a few lefts,then a head but to the nose,that angers Berringer and he scoops Jakal up for a bodyslam,He runs off the rope and...Misses a Leg Drop.Jakal Up,he goes up for a backbreaker,and..yes,nicely pulled off.Berringer takes a few seconds to get up,and givevs Jakal a low blow,Jakal to the ground,he's lucky the ref didn't say,forget about this match.Berringer picks Jakal up by his hair,Jakal with a DDT!Berringer isn't getting up,he goes for the pin, 1...2...Kickout,ALL..i thought that was going to do the champ in after that punishing move.Jakal scoops up the champ,and throws him outta the ring.Both men on the outside now,and Jakal throws Berringer into the guard rail,Berringer lands flat on his face,Jakal lifts the padding from the floor up,and then NO..NO..OLD GLORY ON THE PAVEMENT!! Berringers out cold...ref,stop this match damn it! Jakal is really putting it to him tonight,Jakal Scoops up the champ,and rolls him in the ring,he goes for the pin,
1 ..2...NO,NO!! Kickout by the champ,the crowd is going nuts after that...my lord,the champ should have just stayed down.Jakal scoops the champ up,and throws him against the rope...big clothesline.The champ is really hurt now,how he could kick out now,is beyond me.Jakal Scoops up the champ,OO NO..OLD GLORY TIME AGAIN..no no..reverse into a Double Arm DDT by the champ!!both men are out cold on the matt..the ref starts counting,1..2..3..4..5..6,Berringer starts to pull himself up,7..8..he's up..he's up the champ is up,he stands over the jakal,the jakal was faking he hits him where it counts!! He was just getting even,Berringer goes down quick,Jakal steps outside the ring and grabs a chair..OO NO!! He climbs back in the ring..and waits in the corner,the champ..slowly gets up and turns around..the Jakal runs out him and....Berringer kicks the chair back in his face,Berringer picks up Jakal and he goes for The Underground, but Jakal hooks his arm around the ropes and Berringer hits the mat! Jakal picks up Berringer and hits the Old Glory!! Cover by Jakal! 1, 2, 3!! Jakal wins!!! Jakal is the American Champion once again!! But I am sure we have not heard the last from these two men in the ring! We will be back after this!

#5 Psycho vs. X Kid
(Hardcore Championship/No DQ Match)
JH: X-Kid is already in the ring as "Psycho Circus" blasts out over the PA. Psycho makes his way out to a mixed reaction from what we saw earlier when he kidnapped Kool, he is accompanied by the mystery man we saw earlier. Match starts a with both men trading blows, Psycho gets the upper hand and forces Kid back into a corner. Kid whipped to the other side, Psycho following in but X-Kid slides over the back, thrust kicks in the corner by X-Kid. X-Kid on fire arm drag, another by Kid, hip toss by Kid and Psycho clotheslined to the outside. What's this Kid to the top rope, moonsault to the outside right on Psycho. Psycho rammed into the steel steps, Kid now picks up the steps, dropkick by Psycho send the steps right into Kid's face, Kid whipped into the steel ring post. Psycho drags Kid up the walkway, vertical suplex by Psycho on the steel, what a move. Kid rolled back into the ring and now it's Psycho to the top, double axe handle. Psycho well in control, Bulldog by Psycho followed by a backbreaker, 1,2..kickout by Kid. DDT by Psycho, Psycho off the ropes goes for an elbow but Kid out of the way, Kid of the ropes spinning heel kick, Inziguri by Kid. Kid to the top flying leg drop, 1,2..kickout by Psycho. Kid again to the top dropkick attempt Psycho grabs Kid's leg, Slingshot by Psycho Kid hits the ring post. Super kick by Psycho Kid to the outside. Kid taken head first into the announce table, Psycho has the bell, oh my od he took X-Kid's head off, Kid is bust wide open blood is pouring into his eyes. Psycho covers on the floor, 1,2,3..no, no X-Kid kicked out can you believe it. What guts. Psycho now has some cabling and is choking Kid out. Kid is back up, Psycho charges back drop by Kid onto the floor, hurricanrana on the floor by Kid, Kid now has the bell and he gives Psycho a taste of his own medicine, Psycho is bust open aswell. Kid covers 1,2..Psycho kicks out. What a match these guys are putting on. Kid sets up Psycho on the announce table, Kid climbs to the top turnbuckle oh my god what's this Senton Bomb by Kid, both men right threw the table, they look like they've been a car wreck neither man is moving and the ref is laying a count on
1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8......9...Wait X Kid somehow drapes an arm across Psycho! The ref counts 1, 2, 3!! X Kid is the NEW Hardcore Champion!!! MY GOD that was great! Wait...
(DX's music starts playing, and the lights go off. Green lights flicker all over the arena. The lights come back om, and a male is standing at the entrance with his back towards the entrance.)
Male: A legend has returned. A legend who has captured a Grand Slam Titles in WFWA. This legend is.....
JH: WHO IS IT!!!!!!!!!
(The male turns around and it's Doom.)
JH: DOOM!!!!!!!! HE'S BACK!!!! His long time enemy Psycho is still in the ring, with Doom's cousin X Kid!!!
(Doom walks to the ring.)
Doom: You maybe thinking your cheering for Doom. But Doom is gone. Another man has taken is place. His name is Lance Micheals. Psycho, X Kid, one hellva match. Now, Psycho, we've known each other for a long time. We've fought, and we've allied. Now the second part of my return......
(DX's music starts up again and Billy X walks out, and heads towards the ring.)
Lance Micheals: The Original DX is back, X Kid, Psycho, if you run out of laundry one day, I got a DX shirt for ya.
(X Kid gets up, and hugs his cousin Lance. Billy hands Kid a DX shirt and X Kid puts it on. Then Billy X, Lance Micheals, and X Kid leave the ring, with Psycho left in the ring getting medical help.)
JH: Well it looks like DX is back! We will be back with our Main Event!

#6 Johnny Kool vs. Billy X
(Non-Title Match)
JH: Billy X comes out first for this match. Then suddenly "Psycho Circus" by Kiss blares over the PA as Psycho, who is amazingly up and walking but still limping a little after the Hardcore Match, comes out with the mystery man we saw earlier. They stand halfway in the aisle. X looks confused. Wait they motion to the back and out walks a guy dressed in an EA black leather jacket zipped to the top, combat boots, and blue ripped jeans cut off somewhere near the knees. His hair is also in his face so we can't really see his eyes. Wait he has the World Title too! Wait that is Johnny Kool!!! What the hell is going on here!!! Johnny Kool looks exactly like Psycho!!!! MY GOD! We all saw Psycho and his mystery man kidnap Kool at the start of the show, but what does this mean! Psycho and the mystery man stand at ringside while Kool enters the ring. Wait X starts right off pounding on Kool! This match is underway! Kool comes back with punches of his own. Kool tries to sling X into the ropes, but X reverses it and whips Kool into the ropes. X then hits a Clothesline on Kool. X starts stomping away at Kool. Wait Kool rolls outside! The ref holds X back and lays a count to Kool. Kool is back up and he gets back in. X grabs Kool and slams him. Leg Drop by Kool. Wait Kool rolls outside again. X goes outside after him, but Kool rolls right back in. X gets back in, and Kool starts stomping on X. Russian Leg Sweep by Kool. Elbow Drop by Kool. Kool picks up X and hits a Bulldog. Cover by Kool. 1, 2, kickout! Kook picks up X and he hits a Back Suplex. Kool now applies an Abdominal Stretch to X. But X reverses it into a Hip Toss. X is up and he clotheslines Kool. X goes to pick up Kool, but X rolls outside again! X looks mad! Kool is trying to frustrate X so he loses his train of thought and it is working. X is now arguing with the ref. Kool is back in and he nails X from behind! Fallaway Slam by Kool. Kool now goes for the Ice Breaker, but X low blows Kool! X picks up Kool and hits a Death Valley Driver! X covers Kool! 1, 2, 3! NO! Kool had his foot on the ropes! X is really mad now!! He is yelling at the ref! This gives time for Kool to recover. X goes over to Kool and picks him up. X tries to sling Kool, but Kool reverses it and slings X into the corner. Kool charges into the corner and hits a Clothesline. The ref pushes X from the corner. Wait Psycho, who had been just watching the match the entire time, jumps into the ring with brass knuckles and he nails the ref from behind with it! Wait Super Kick by X to Kool. Psycho motions to X that he is going to help beat up Kool, but then Psycho spins X around and gives him 2 Bloodflow DDT's just like Crow does!! Psycho then puts the knucks on the hand of X who is out cold! Psycho then revives the ref. Psycho jumps outside and points at X with the brass knuckles. The ref is not totally there, but he sees X with the brass knuckles so he calls for the bell! The ref is has disqualified X! Kool wins by DQ!! That is crazy! Wait Psycho has a mic now.
Psycho: "Crow those two were for you."
JH: Well I guess he meant the Bloodflow DDT's. Wait Kool is up. Kool stares at Psycho and he is confused! Wait Kool rips off his jeans and jacket to reveal his bright blue trunks and a "Ice" Kool t-shirt! What is this!!! Kool then grabs his belt and jumps outside and exits through the crowd with a big smile on his face and he is playing to the crowd all the way to tha back! Psycho is just standing in the ring, shaking his head! What the hell is going on?!?!?! Folks we are out of time! I will see you Sunday!
