Thursday Night Rage (9/16/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAGE" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play, as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and ends
at the announce table where Jumbo Hastings is sitting.]
JH: Welcome everyone to Thursday Night Rage!! We are live from the Florence Civic Center in Florence, SC! Tonight we have 6 matches for you including 2 Title matches! Without any more delay let's get up to the ring where Jay Powers is waiting!!
JP:-"Ladies & Gentlemen, it's Thursday, so it's time for a Rage. And what a better way to get this thing started, please welcome at this time the World heavyweight champion Johnny "Ice" Kool."
("Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice blasts out over the PA and the crowd erupt to their feet, Kool steps out from the backstage area and the pop gets even louder. Kool takes a few seconds to soak up the atmosphere before making his way towards the ring. He is dressed casually in black cut off jeans, a red official WFW t-shirt & Nike training shoes. His long blond hair is tied back and his shades are pushed up onto the top of his head. He carries the WFW title over his right shoulder. He steps into the ring and climbs the turnbuckle to acknowledge the fans. Jay Powers waits with a mic.)
JP:-"Johnny Kool, we saw at the pay per view how Crow turned his back on you and you received a tremendous beating two on one at the hands of he and Shocker. I guess you then sought some pay back this past Sunday when you caused Crow to lose the WFW hardcore title to Psycho, who ironically just watched on as you where double team..."
JK:-"Let me stop you there Jay, I don't know where Psycho's head is right now and quite frankly I couldn't give two drops of chicken crap what is going on in that crazy son of a bitches mind. Psycho sure as hell owes me nothing, he wants to stand by whilst I get worked over that's fine. Now the hardcore title Crow was just that small piece I spoke of I was going to take from you, oh yeah and I enjoyed it as I held that Louisville slugger, took one allmighty swing, placed it upside your tiny goo filled cranium and dropped you on your ass. But Crow like I said that was just a piece, i'm going to slowly, painfully take you apart. JK looks into his crystal ball and all he can predict for you you sorry son of bitch is a living hell, I promised you Crow i'd be on your ass 24/7 and well your gonna need eyes like a hawk to keep track of "Ice". You never know tonight might just be the night when I take a little bit more of what I want from you."
JP:-"So Johnny Kool does that mean you plan to interject yourself in tonight's tag title main event between Crow & Psycho?"
JK:-"First of all Powers shut your hole, you speak when your spoken too."
(Receives more cheers from the capacity crowd.)
JK:-"The Dude of Kool, the man who is simply the most flamboyant & charismatic sports entertainer in the World today will do whatever the hell he wants, whenever the hell he wants. But you Powers, just like all these Johnny Kool fans here already know that. That's why week after these hard working people put their hands in their pockets and past the condom packet, the cigarettes and off course the lottery ticket of some hopeful person they pull out $20 to come and watch Johnny Kool. A man who brings some joy, some entertainment and some hope to their lives. And when you hear them chant my name and the atmosphere becomes electric you know that something special is about to happen, maybe something ground breaking in this iundustry just like i've done time and time before. But I mean where talking about the Dude of Kool so what would you expect anything less?"
JP:-"Well quite frankly no. Because you have raised the bar so many times in this great sport, we are not suprised to see you do it again."
JK:-"Dammit peon, you are right, there is something between those ears besides a vacuum. But that's enough sucking up to "Ice". And now JK is going to prove one more time why he is the number 1 man in the WFWA and he is going to rause that bar again this Sunday infact. Well Crow I guess your a little (sniff) sad (sniff) now that I cost you your precious Hardcore title, your blaming me now and your going to say that it's all my fault. Of course it's my fault idiot!! But don't worry you can get your hands on Johnny Kool this Sunday, that's right. But I know you ain't got the balls to face me alone, so you can bring that little boyfriend of yours along, well that's if his ass ain't to sore...(Crowd responds again with a huge ovaition.)...and you can go 2 on 1 with the Dude of Kool. So if you find an ounce of courage in your belly, wipe that KY jelly of your peacepipe and drag your sorry ass to the ring this Sunday. And that's all I got to say hit the damn music."
(The crowd pops again, Kool climbs up the turnbuckle again and signals to the crowd. He holds the belt up to the crowd as he makes his way back up to the entrance ramp. The crowd continue to cheer until he's out of sight.)

#1 Brian Williams vs. Eric Storm vs. The Night Warrior
(Barbwire Match/Triple Threat Match)
JH: The bell rings and all 3 men start off punching it out! Spinning Heel Kick by Warrior to Williams. Storm clotheslines Warrior from behind. Suplex by Storm on Warrior. Williams is up and Storm goes for a Clothesline to him, but Williams ducks and catches Storm and drops him across the barbwire! Kick and a Double-Arm DDT by Williams on Warrior. Russian Leg Sweep by Williams on Storm. Cover by Williams! 1, 2, kickout! Williams now tries to ram Warrior into the barbwire, but Warrior elbows Williams and throws him into the barbwire! The Night Blaster Kick by Warrior to Williams! Storm is up and he drop kicks Warrior into the barbwire! Powerbomb by Storm on Warrior. Storm goes up top. Williams is up though and he trips up Storm. Williams climbs up top and grabs Storm for a Superplex. But Warrior is up and he nails Williams. Warrior then climbs up and hits a Reverse Tornado DDT on Williams! Cover by Warrior! Wait Storm is standing up top. He hits The Shocker onto Warrior and Williams underneath Warrior!! Storm covers Warrior! 1, 2, 3!! Eric Storm wins!!! Great debut for all 3 men, but Storm pulls out the victory! We will be back!

[Jay Powers is waiting in the dressing room of Gang Starr. He is sitting quietly as Gang Starr walks in with a lead pipe in his hand. He then pauses and raises an eyebrow at the sight of Jay Powers and the cameraman.]
Gang Starr: What da hell you doin in here?
Jay Powers: I'm here for your interview, Gang Starr. What are you doing with that pipe?
Gang Starr: Jus say we're old friends. So, get on wit it, lets make this quick.
Jay Powers: Ok, so, you're one of the newest WFW superstars, how do you feel about it?
Gang Starr: Ain't do nuttin for me yet, just wait till you see me in da ring, you'll see how I feel about it then. I take all, leave none.
Jay Powers: Very well. How do you think you'll do in the WFW?
Gang Starr: How do I think I'll do? Isn't dat obvious? Don't you know I am? I am from da streets, and dats where I learned to fight. And all of yahl are gonna find dat out soon enough. My first match, against whoever it is, will know da meanin of da word "hurt". Oh yeah, cause I am the Originator, Original Thug Passion, The Original Flava, The Original Playa, and the Original Bronx Bomber. Cause now dat I'm here in da WFW, It's Ryde or Die muthaf*ckaz! Get out my Dressing Room!
[Gang Starr then throws Jay Powers and the camera man out of the room.]
[The scene goes back to the ring where the cell is down and the next match is ready to begin.]
#2 Johnny Blaze vs. Foly
(Hell in a Cell Match)
JH: Both men are inside the cell and the match begins! Clothesline by Blaze. T-Bone Suplex by Blaze. Blaze throws Foly outside and throws him into the cell. Blaze rolls Foly back inside. Blaze grabs a chair and he climbs inside. He goes to nail Foly with it, but Foly blocks it and nails Blaze with the chair! Double-Arm DDT by Foly. Foly whips Blaze into the corner. He nails a Clothesline into the corner. Foly then locks up Blaze in the corner and he hits the Tree of Woe! Foly goes outside and grabs a table. He sets it up inside and he puts Blaze on the table. Foly climbs up top now. Foly tries to Splash Blaze, but Blaze moves and Foly goes through the table! Blaze climbs up top. He jumps off and hits the Dogg Drop onto Foly!! Cover by Blaze! 1, 2, 3!! Blaze wins!!! Good win for Blaze! We will be back after this break!

#3 The Shocker vs. V-Tor
JH: The bell rings and they lock up! Headlock and a Shoulder Block by V-Tor. Powerslam by V-Tor. DDT by V-Tor. Suplex by V-Tor. Piledriver by V-Tor. Cover by V-Tor! 1, 2, kickout! V-Tor goes up top and goes for a Moonsault, but Shocker moves. Clothesline by Shocker. Leg Drop by Shocker. Neckbreaker by Shocker. German Suplex by Shocker. Cover by Shocker! 1, 2, kickout! Powerbomb by Shocker. Shocker picks up V-Tor and goes for a Pedigree, but V-Tor backdrops him! Choke Slam by V-Tor. V-Tor picks up Shocker and he goes for the Jackknife Powerslam, but Shocker falls behind V-Tor. Shocker then kicks V-Tor and hits the Electric Shock! Shocker picks up V-Tor. The Electric Chair by Shocker!! Cover by Shocker! 1, 2, 3!! Shocker wins!!! But V-Tor put up a good showing. He should make an impact in the WFW soon. We will be back!

#4 Da Man vs. Kid Dynamite
(Lightweight Championship)
JH: Kid Dynamite comes out first. Da Man then comes out with the Lightweight Title. Wait Da Man just threw the Lightweight Title into the ring and he is walking to the back! From the corner of the entrance, you see Brian Williams watching Da Man leave to the back. The ref has rung the bell! Kid Dynamite wins by forfeit! Kid Dynamite is the NEW Lightweight Champion!! Well that was strange. I guess Da Man got tired of the Lightweight Title. We will be right back!

#5 Joe Jackson vs. Daredevil
(Cage Match)
JH: Jackson and Daredevil are in the middle of the ring. The steel cage lowers. Daredevil pushes Jackson and follows up with a dropkick. Jackson doesnt know what hit him, Jackson charges at Dardevil Drop toe hold by Devil. Devil with a DDT. Daredevil tosses him into the cage and follows up with a closeline. Jackson is down. Devil picks him up Fisherman Suplex. Devil picks him up and tosses him into the turnbuckle. And follows up with a splash in the corner of the ring. Jackson goes down, Devil goes to the top rope and goes for frog splash but Joe Jackson puts his knees up. Devil grabs his stomache, Jackson gives him a German Suplex. And another. Devil scrables for the ropes. And he gets them. Jackson lets go, and rushes towards the other rops, he attempts a cross body, Devil ducks and Jackson hits the cage. Devil is ticked and grabs him and tosses him into the turnbuckles, he climbs the second rope and begins to repeatedly pounding on his head. Jackson pushes him off. Devil jumps back on again as Jackson pushes him off once more. Devil jumps again as Jackson grabs his legs and nails him with a spine buster. Jackson picks up the stunned Daredevil and gives him a low blow. Jackson slings devil into the ropes and nails him with a knee to the mouth. Devil is busted open. Jackson acting cocky, he starts to yell at the fans. Devil coms up from behind with a Low Blow and follows up with a bulldog. Devil grabs him and nails Jackson with a russian leg sweep. Devil goes to the top. WAIT Jackson jumps at the ropes and Devil falls off the ropes. Jackson picks him up and nails him with a Spinal Tap. Jackson grabs his leg and locks him in a modified boston crab. Devil is fighting it, he reaches for the ropes. And grabs them he flips Jackson into the cage. Jackson gets up, Devil runs with a clothesline, Jackson ducks and picks up Devil he signals the crowd And BAM he hits the Jackson Jam Slam!! Jackson is now climbing the cage! Daredevil is not giving up! Jackson has climbed up and over the cage to the floor! Joe Jackson wins!!! The Mean Street Posse and Kid Dynamite come down to celebrate with Jackson to the back! We will be back after this commercial break!

#6 Psycho vs. Crow
(Ownership of Tag Titles Match)
JH: The bell rings and here we go! They lock up. Knee to the gut of Crow by Psycho. Hurricanrana by Psycho. Drop Kick by Psycho that sends Crow to the outside. Psycho springboards off the ropes and attempts a Flying Body Press, but Crow moves and Psycho hits the outside hard! Wait here comes the newcomer Gang Starr! He nails Psycho with a pipe! He then runs to the back! Crow picks up Psycho and slings Psycho into the steel steps! Crow rolls Psycho back inside. Crow climbs back in and he hits a Neckbreaker on Psycho. Powerslam by Crow. Leg Drop by Crow. Russian Leg Sweep by Crow. Cover by Crow! 1, 2, Kickout! Headlock by Crow. Psycho pushes Crow into the ropes and Psycho leapfrogs over Crow. Crow bounces off the ropes again, but Psycho hits a Spinning Heel Kick to Crow. Psycho climbs up top and he hits a Missile Drop Kick. Psycho back up top now. 450 Splash by Psycho. Cover by Psycho! 1, 2, 3! NO! KICKOUT! Psycho grabs Crow and he goes for a Tornado DDT, but Crow reverses it into a Spinebuster! Crow picks up Psycho and powerbombs him! Crow picks up Psycho and again and he goes for a Bloodflow DDT, but Psycho reverses it into a Northern Lights Suplex! Psycho picks up Crow and he hits the Kiss of Death!! Wait here comes Shocker with a chair! He runs into the ring and just nails Psycho with the chair! Shocker helps up Crow and Crow hits the Bloodflow DDT on Psycho on the chair!! Remember this is a No DQ Match! Cover by Crow! 1, 2, 3!! Crow wins!!! Crow owns the Tag Titles! Crow grabs both tag titles and Crow hands 1 to Shocker! So it seems Crow and The Shocker are the NEW Tag Team Champions!!! Wait now Crow and Shocker continue to attack Psycho! Someone stop them! Wait here comes Johnny Kool with a baseball bat! He runs Crow and Shocker from the ring! Kool then checks on Psycho while he stares down Shocker and Crow! Folks we are out of time! I will see you Sunday!
