Thursday Night Rage (5/27/99)
[The scene opens inside the Winnipeg Arena!! All of the WFW wrestlers are in the ring. The Prez is the middle of them and he has a mic.]
The Prez: You know I have thought about this. And I thought this had nothing to do with the WFW. The death of Owen Hart has nothing to do with Fantasy Wrestling. Well this is not about Fantasy Wrestling. This is not me, The Prez, speaking. This is my REAL self, Josh Clinton, speaking. For just these few minutes, this has nothing to do with Fantasy Wrestling. This is about REAL life. Owen was REAL. Eventhough none of us in the WFW probably never got to speak or met or certainly not lived with Owen, we still respected him. Notice I did not say like him. Because in wrestling, you don't like people's characters. We did not hate Owen, the man, father, husband, son, and uncle. We hated some of the characters Owen played. But you know what he was happy that way. Because if we hated Owen's characters, he was doing his job! And he loved it! From what I have heard, he loved his family and wrestling. He liked to make people laugh. Well tonight the WFW will do its part. Not as Fantasy Wrestlers, but as REAL Human Beings. So now lets bow our heads and pay tribute to Owen by ringing the bell 10 times.
[Everyone has their heads bowed and the arena is silent. RING...RING...RING...RING...RING...RING...
RING...RING...RING...RING!!]
The Prez: Now with that said, lets go on with the show for Owen!
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAGE" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play, as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and ends
at the announce table where Jumbo Hastings and Chris Michaels are sitting.]
JH: Welcome to Thursday Night Rage!! We are
live from the Winnipeg Arena in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada!! Tonight we have 7 matches for you!! Lets go to...Wait we hear something has happened backstage!!
[The cameras go backstage where they spot Heavy Metal Kid down on the floor holding his knee! Here comes some medical help! The cameras then go back to Jumbo.]
JH: Heavy Metal Kid has been attacked! We do not know who?!?! Well Heavy Metal Kid may be injured! More info later! Lets go to the action!!
#1 Daredevil .v. Confucius
CM: Well Confucius comes out first. Here comes Daredevil now. Wait Johnny Gunn attacks him from behind with a mirror! Wait X-Paq's bodyguard, Total Destruction, picks up Confucius and Choke Slams him through a table! Gunn then nails Confucius with a pipe and then he throws him into the ring! They then leave!
JH: The bell rings and Confucius takes advantage of that attack and starts stomping on the nearly knocked out Daredevil!
CM: Confucius is going up top, wow, a 450 splash by Confucius onto Daredevil. Confucius picks up Daredevil. Belly to Back Suplex by Confucius. Confucius puts Daredevil in a Boston Crab but he kicks out.
JH: DDT by Confucius, Double Arm DDT by Confucius. Flying head scissors by Confucius. Confucious goes up top, and does a frog splash onto Daredevil. Confucious goes for The Omen but Daredevil lowblows Confucious! Daredevil crawls over for a cover, 1, 2, KICKOUT!!
CM: That was close! Daredevil and Confucius get up. Kick and a DDT by Daredevil! Daredevil put Confucius up top. Daredevil climbs up. Devil's Call! 1, 2, 3!!! Daredevil wins!!! Well Daredevil won eventhough he was attacked before the match! We will be back!

#2 Da Killaman .v. Masked Murder
(Boiler Room Brawl)
JH: Our cameras are in the basement, for the next match. Both men are in there. Da Killaman whips Murder into a tank. Da Killaman grabs a pipe, and hits Masked Murder on the back with it.
CM: Masked Murder, gets up, and clotheslines Da Killaman. Murder, body slams Da Killaman, into the back of a cart. Murder, gets in it, and drives it backwards into a tank. Oxygen, is spewing out in Da Killaman's face.
JH: Da Killaman can't breath. Murder powerbombs Da Killaman on the concrete. Masked Murder sets up a ladder by some stairs. Murder goes to whip Da Killaman into the ladder, but Da Killaman reverses it.
CM: Murder falls down a flight of stairs! Da Killaman walks down the stairs, and starts punching Murder. Da Killaman starts heading up the stairs, but Murder follows him with a fire extinguisher.
JH: Masked Murder taps on Da Killaman's shoulder, and he tries to spray Killaman in the face, but Killaman ducks! Kick and The Killabomb through a table by Killaman!!
CM: Da Killaman walks out the doors, and he's your winner!! We will be back!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#3 Psycho .v. Brent Smith
(Weapons Match)
CM: This next match is a weapons match. Both men are in the ring. Psycho picks up a chair, and swings, but misses. Smith kicks Psycho and DDTs him. Smith picks up a ladder, and hits Psycho in the back with it. Smith sets up the ladder, and whips Psycho into the corner.
JH: Smith climbs the ladder, and goes to drop kick Psycho, but Psycho moves, and Smith lands in the ropes. Psycho grabs a steel pipe, and hits Smith in the head twice. Psycho sets up a table, and places, Smith on it.
CM: Psycho punches Smith. Psycho goes up top, and goes for a splash but Smith, does a facebuster on Psycho through the table. Smith coves Pyscho, 1..2..Kickout. Smith picks up a 2x4, and hits Psycho repeatedly.
JH: Smith goes under the ring, and grabs a bag. He pours it out. Thumbtacks come spilling out onto a new table. He puts Psycho on it, but Psycho gets up, and low-blows Smith.
CM: Psycho sets up a ladder by the table, and drags Smith up it. Psycho DDTs Smith off the top of the ladder through the table and thumbtacks. Psycho grabs the 2x4, and places it around Smith's neck, PSYCHOTIC CRIPPLER, Smith is tapping out!! We will be back!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#4 X-Paq: Sniper .v. Vigilante X
JH: The bell rings and here we go! Drop Kick by X. Suplex by X. Gorilla Press Slam by X. X goes up top. Moonsault by X. X picks up Sniper and sends him into the ropes. Diving Clothesline by X!
CM: X goes up top. He goes for a Top Rope Leg Drop, but Sniper rolls out of the way! Sniper gets up and hits a Hurricanrana. Stun Gun by Sniper. Spinning Heel Kick by Sniper.
JH: Inverted DDT by Sniper. Sniper goes up top. Senton Back Splash by Sniper! Cover by Sniper. 1, 2, kickout! DDT by Sniper. Sniper goes up top. He goes for a Somersault, but X moves! X gets up and hits a Spinning Heel Kick. Jackknife by X. X goes up top.
CM: Moonsault by X! 1, 2, kickout! X puts Sniper on the top rope. X climbs up. X goes for a Top Rope DDT, but Sniper turns it right into a Spinebuster/Powerbomb from the top! 1, 2, KICKOUT!!
JH: That was CLOSE!! Float-Over DDT by Sniper. Sniper picks up X. Sniper goes for the Sniper Bomb, but X turns it into a Frankensteiner! DDT by X.
CM: X goes up top. 450 Splash by X! X picks up Sniper. X goes for the Pain Injector, but Sniper backdrops him! Sniper then clotheslines X outside! Sniper goes out with him!
JH: The ref starts a count! Both men pound on each other up the aisleway! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, they are still fighting! They are coming back to the ring! 7, 8, 9, 10!! This match is a Double Countout!! Both men roll back inside, but it is too late!
CM: Wait Panther, Johnny Gunn, Lisa and Total Destruction come down the aisle. Total Destruction comes into the ring and looks like he's about to attack Vigilante X, but he suddenly turns around and chokeslams the ref! X and Sniper continue to go after each other until Panther and Gunn jump in to separate the 2! Lisa pulls out an X-PAQ t-shirt and tosses it to X, and then the group leaves with Sniper!
JH: Will Vigilante X join X-Paq?!?! We will be right back!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#5 The Shocker .v. Pinhead
JH: Both men are in the ring and the bell rings! Pinhead does a suplex to start! Pinhead throws The Shocker outside and Pinhead does a suicide dive over the top rope onto The Shocker.
CM: Power slam by Pinhead into the crowd. Pinhead is on the guard rail and he pulls The Shocker over to him and gives him a power bomb off the guardrail onto the arena floor in the crowd. Pinhead covers The Shocker, 1, 2, KICKOUT!!
JH: Pinhead picks up a fan's drink and throws it at The Shocker but he ducks and it hits the ref in the face, blinding him. The Shocker pulls Pinhead on a chair in the audience and does a suplex off of it into more chairs. Suplex by The Shocker, Spinkick by The Shocker.
CM: Reverse DDT onto the concrete by The Shocker, power bomb into the team bench for the Manitoba Moose hockey team here in Winnipeg. The Shocker goes for a piledriver but Pinhead does a hurracanranna sending The Shocker into the second level of seats in the arena.
JH: Piledriver by Pinhead, Hurricanranna by Pinhead onto some concrete step. Pinhead puts The Shocker in a figure four leglock but he gets up by pushing on a nearby seat. Pinhead goes for a bodyslam but The Shocker falls on him.
CM: Pedigree by The Shocker, The Shocker goes for the cover 1, 2, KICKOUT! Neckbreaker by The Shocker, The Shocker goes for the cover 1, 2, KICKOUT! Pinhead kicks The Shocker in the gut and picks up a stop sign that says "Please use my sign!" on it.
JH: Pinhead hits The Shocker with it who falls into a restricted area. Pinhead dives off the seats into the restricted area onto The Shocker. Pinhead throws The Shocker through a table.
CM: Pinhead smashes a bottle where lots of broken glass goes all over the floor. Pinhead now drags Shocker back to the lobby area. Pinhead throws Shocker into a bathroom! Panther goes in after him, but Pinhead is hit by a fireball from Panther! Gunn is right there too!
JH: Wait here comes Daredevil and Iceman Jason McGrew!! They attack Panther and Gunn from behind! They ram them into the wall! Shocker is about to win from X-Paq's interference, but Daredevil stops that!
CM: Shocker pushes Daredevil and Daredevil pushes Shocker right into a rollup by Pinhead! 1, 2, 3!!! Pinhead wins!! Daredevil then helps Pinhead away from this WILD brawl! We will be back!

#6 Da Man .v. WC: Lightning Kid .v. The Great Milenko
(Lightweight Championship/Triple Threat Match)
JH: All 3 men are in the ring and the bell rings! Kid drop kicks Da Man. Then Milenko and and Kid start to stomp on Da Man. Wait clothesline by Milenko on Kid.
CM: Snap Suplex by Milenko on Kid. Slam by Milenko on Kid. Da Man gets up and Milenko hits a Belly-to-Belly Suplex on him.
JH: Milenko goes for a Powerbomb on Kid, but Kid turns it into a Frankensteiner! Spinning Heel Kick by Kid on Milenko. German Suplex by Kid on Da Man. Kid goes up top. Missile Drop Kick by Kid on Milenko! Cover by Kid. 1, 2, Da Man breaks it up!
CM: Da Man headbutts Kid. Big Boot by Da Man on Milenko. Reverse DDT by Da Man on Kid. Milenko gets up and he gets Chokeslammed by Da Man! Cover by Da Man. 1, 2, kickout! Kid is up. He hits a Spin Wheel Kick on Da Man!
JH: Bulldog by Kid on Da Man. Kid goes up top. Wait Milenko is up and he trips up Kid. Milenko climbs up top and hits a Superplex from the top on Kid! Cover by Milenko! 1, 2, KICKOUT!
CM: VERY CLOSE!! DDT by Milenko on Kid. Da Man gets up and he gets a Piledriver from Milenko. Milenko picks up Kid. Milenko goes for The Hook Up, but Kid backdrops him!
JH: Super Kick by Kid on Milenko. Kid goes up top. Moonsault by Kid on Milenko! Cover by Kid! 1, 2, Da Man breaks it up! Da Man now pounds on Kid in a corner! The ref tries to pull Da Man off, but Da Man accidently elbows the ref!
CM: The ref is dazed! Wait look up there! Here comes Jakal down a zip line! He flys through the arena and ands on Milenko and Kid! Jakal throws Kid outside! Wait Old Glory by Jakal on Milenko!
JH: Da Man and Jakal wake the ref and Da Man makes a cover! 1, 2, 3!! Da Man wins!! Jakal is now back in the ring. He throws Da Man an eWo shirt and then leaves! Da Man looks at it!
CM: Will he join eWo?!?! We will be back!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
JH: We are back fans! The Prez is in the ring with a mic. He is about to announce who Freak will face for the IC Title on Sunday. Lets take it to The Prez...Wait a minute!
Then all of a sudden "Freak on a Leash" by Korn plays up on the PA and Freak walks out through the entrance way and receives a huge cheer, he is wearing some jean shorts and has the Intercontinental belt on his shoulders and his skateboard in hand. He walks about halfway down the ramp then pulls out a mic and speaks
Freak> So who am I going to fight?
Prez> I was getting to that. You are fighting Pinhead! Since he won tonight against Shocker!
Freak> Well that's okay, they will get there shot against me this sunday, but I have a little request, if that's possible to carry out.
Prez> What is it?
Freak> I want to fight in a double hell in a cell match, with weapons.
Freak then leaves as "Freak on a Leash" plays back up and exits throught the fan entrances.
Prez> Well I will make that match. Fans, tune in Sunday to see the World Title on the line in a Lion's Den Match between Soldier Syxx and Razor Ramon! Also you will get to see the IC Title on the line in a Double Cell match between Freak and Pinhead! And don't forget about Joe Jackson against Panther for the American Title! That TRIPLE MAIN EVENT plus the Lightweight Title will be on the line as Da Man will face Sniper! All of that and more!! I will see you Sunday!
JH: We will be right back with our Main Event!!

#7 Crow and Jakal .v. Beowulf and Syxx Pac
(Tag Team Championship)
JH: Syxx Pac and Beowulf comes out first. Then "Wherever I May Roam" by Metallica plays over the PA as Crow and Jakal come to the ring. The bell rings and Jakal and Beowulf start off! Spinning Heel Kick by Jakal.
CM: Russian Leg Sweep by Jakal on Beowulf. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Jakal. Leg Drop by Jakal. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Jakal. Jakal tags in Crow. Bulldog by Crow.
JH: German Suplex by Crow. Crow goes up top. Beowulf gets up. Crow goes for a Flying Clothesline, but Beowulf moves! Beowulf tags in Syxx Pac. Facebuster by Syxx on Crow. Jakal comes in and he gets a Drop Kick. Jakal falls outside.
CM: Spin Wheel Kick by Syxx on Crow. Super Kick by Syxx on Crow. Wait Type O Negative by Syxx on Crow! Wait Jakal grabs the foot of Syxx and pulls him off from the outside!
JH: Beowulf jumps off the apron and nails Jakal with a Flying Body Press on the outside! Beowulf slings Jakal into the guardrail! Wait Beowulf hits a Bronco Buster on Jakal against the guardrail!
CM: Inside Syxx puts Crow on the top rope. Syxx climbs up. Crow fights back. Wait Superplex by Crow on Syxx! Crow goes for a cover, but Beowulf gets inside the ring and elbow drops Crow!
JH: Beowulf goes for a Hurricanrana on Crow, but Crow turns it into a Powerbomb! Crow gets up. Beowulf gets up. Kick and a Bloodflow DDT by Crow on Beowulf!! Syxx Pac is up and he nails Crow! Jakal is back on the apron. Crow rolls over and tags in Jakal! Lowblow by Jakal on Syxx!
CM: Old Glory by Jakal on Syxx Pac! Beowulf has now climbed up top. Jakal gets up and he gets a Bicycle Kick from Beowulf!! Wait Beowulf hits a Clothesline on Crow that sends both men outside!
JH: Wait Syxx has rolled over and covers Jakal! 1, 2, 3!! Syxx Pac and Beowulf are the NEW Tag Team Champions!!! That could be considered an upset! Well anything can happen here! We are out of time! We will see you Sunday for another BIG night!
