Thursday Night Rage (5/20/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAGE" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play, as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and ends
at the announce table where Jumbo Hastings and Chris Michaels are sitting.]
JH: Welcome to Thursday Night Rage!! We are
live from the WFW Arena in Los Angeles, CA!! Tonight we have 8 matches for you!! Lets go to Jay Powers in the ring!!
(The X-PAQ theme plays over the PA system and the crowd goes wild as Panther, Gunn and Lisa head to the ring. They pose on the ropes as "X's" shoot down from the rafters)
JP: Panther, earlier this week you said that--ahhh!!!
(Lisa hits him with a low blow and J-Dogg gives him the Dogg's Bite.)
Panther: That's right,Powers. Consider yourself the 1st victim of the X-PAQ's war on the WFW! I really don't have too much to say. You people already know that I am the champion of champions, and you already know that J-Dogg is the Icon of the Light Heavyweights, and you know that the Sniper is the Greatest Light Heavyweight champion of all time because we've said it time and time again. Now, it's time for us to let our actions speak louder than our words.
J-Dogg: Ya know, P-Diddy, these people just say us come out here and whoop Jay Powers' a** for only the 1,000th time since he joined here, so I think it's time that we make another example. Chris Michaels...
(Gunn looks at him with an evil smile. Michaels gets up and tries to run, but a large man in the crowd grabs him by his throat and chokeslams him through the announcer's table. Panther and Gunn run to the floor and begin beating him with chairs, and they give him a spike piledriver from the ring apron to the floor. A noose drops from the rafters and Panther and Gunn hang Michaels. The Man gets into the ring.)
Panther: Well, at this time I would like to send out a thank you from our good friend from the FCW, Dudekind. Ladies and gents, I would like to introduce our new insurance policy, Dudekind's former bodyguard, Total Destruction!!! Now I know that we've done some pretty mean things in the past, but if you thought that we were bad before, you have seen absolutely nothing...
(Panther pulls out a control, presses a button and Michaels falls from the rafters and goes through the timekeeper's table)
YET!!! I've said it before and I'll say it again: Like it or not, the X-PAQ WILL dominate the WFW! Why? CUZ THERE CAN'T BE ANY OTHER WAY!!!
(The X-PAQ theme plays again and the group leaves with a mixed reception from the crowd.)
JH: Chris Michaels is hurt! He is being helped to the back! We will be right back!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
JH: We are back! Folks, sorry to interrupt, but it seems like Jay has found something in the back. Jay...
(Camera switches to the backstage area in front of Razor Ramon's dressing room)
JP: We Jumbo, folks, we are at the dressing room area of Razor Ramon, and it seems like folks, it has been trashed. Well, as I walk through here ladies and gentlemen, everything is torn apart. I don't see Razor. Folks, it looks bad because apparently, he's involved in a match tonight against Panther.
(Cameraman focuses on the corner of the room, where Razor is laying inside a pile of junk.)
JP: Well folks, Razor Ramon has been attacked! We need some medical help here! It looks like he's been seriously injured. (talking to Razor) Razor, can you hear me? Who did this to you?
RR: (struggling to speak) eh eh, eckks.
JP: X? He said X. Could this be the work of X-Paq? (Doctors and officials come to the aid of Razor) Well, as we see, some help has arrived, and well, Jumbo, back to you...
JH: We will be back with our first match after this!

#1 Lord Infamous .v. Brent Smith
(Devil's Playground Match)
JH: Smith comes out first. Then Infamous comes to the ring with his manager, Tom Ski-Mask, and a masked man! Both men are in the ring which is covered with weapons. Then the flames come up around them. Here we go! Punches by Infamous. Piledriver by Infamous. Infamous nails Smith with a baseball bat! Suplex by Infamous. Infamous sets up a table. Infamous nails Smith a trash can! Infamous goes for a Powerbomb through the table, but Smith backdrops Infamous through the table! Smith nails Infamous with a stop sign! Leg Drop by Smith. DDT on the chair by Smith. Smith tries to throw Infamous into the fire, but Infamous elbows him. Diamond Cutter by Infamous. STF by Infamous. Infamous gets up and nails Smith with a 2X4! Kick by Infamous. Infamous goes for the Infamous Syndicate, but Smith grabs Infamous' legs and slingshots him into the corner! Infamous' face came very close to the fire! Kick by Smith. Smith goes for The Meadow's Drop, but Infamous pounds on Smith's head! Infamous jumps behind Smith! Kick and the Infamous Syndicate onto the chair by Infamous!! Wait here comes Mitch Vinson! He is stopped by the masked man and Tom Ski-Mask! Infamous picks up Smith and throws him into the fire!! Infamous wins!!! Smith is quickly put out and Mitch Vinson helps him to the back! The flames are lowered and Tom Ski-Mask and the masked man enter the ring! Wait Infamous unmasks the man! It is the newcomer, Da Killaman! He is with Lord Infamous! We will be back!

#2 X-Paq: Sniper .v. HBK
(Ben Franklin Bridge Brawl)
JH: Now lets go to a bridge in Philadelphia! Sniper is there waiting for HBK. But now HBK. Wait a minute...Lets get the cameras back into the arena!
(HBK's music starts and he walks down to the ring, the fans are going crazy. Kevin Ham has not gotten into the ring and grabbed a mic.)
Kevin Ham: HBK, why are you not at the bridge fighting Sniper?
HBK: Well, Kevin I had more important things to do around here.
Kevin Ham: What kind of things?
HBK: One thing is that I'm anouncing my retirement.
Kevin Ham: You're retiering?
HBK: Yep
Kevin Ham: What is the other thing you have to do?
HBK: I have to tell all of you that I'm the commissioner.
(HBK drops the mic and leaves)
JH: What HBK said is true. HBK is the NEW Commish of the WFW! Sniper wins this match by Forfeit! We will be back!!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#3 Mitch Vinson .v. Garret Bannon
JH: Vinson starts off with a clothesline. Vinson does a leg drop. Vinson attempts a knee drop but Bannon rolls out of the way and Bannon gets up and he tries a Belly To Back Suplex but Vinson elbows him in the mouth. Vinson puts Bannon in a headlock but Bannon makes it to the ropes. The ref breaks it up, both get up, Belly To Belly Suplex by Bannon. Bannon puts Vinson in a cross arm bar but Vinson gets up and tries a Sharpeshooter on Bannon, he has to hold it for a while but Bannon is squirming to get to the ropes. Bannon makes it, gets up and gives Vinson a DDT. Bannon picks up Vinson. Wait "X's" shoot down from the rafters and Johnny Gunn comes down the aisle with a shovel. He gets in the ring and both men attack him, but Panther comes from the crowd and hits Bannon with a chair shot. He gives Bannon Da' Bomb 3 times and Gunn gives Vinson the Dogg's Bite. Panther then brings in a gas can, pours gasoline on 2 steel chairs, lights them on fire and give Bannon a double chairshot to the front and back of the head. The 2 spraypaint X-PAQ on both men's back before leaving. Wait here comes Ramon with a 2X4! He nails Vinson with the board! Then leaves the ring! Wait here comes Bret Smith with a baseball bat! He nails Bannon with the bat! This match is a No Contest! Here comes some more medical help for Bannon! Smith helps Vinson to the back! We will be back!

#4 Pinhead .v. X-Paq: Johnny Gunn
(Barbwire Match)
JH: Both men are in the ring. Johnny Gunn whips Pinhead into the barbwire. Spin kick by Gunn. Asai Moonsault onto Pinhead by Gunn. Hurracanranna by Gunn. Gunn goes to the top turnbuckle and does a missile dropkick. Johnny Gunn picks up Pinhead and tries to whip him into the barbwire but Pinhead elbows him. Pinhead whips Gunn into he barb wire and Pinhead throws Johnny Gunn through the ropes to the outside. The ref is counting out Gunn. 1 ... 2 ... Pinhead does a suicide dive over the top string of barbwire onto Gunn 3 ... 4 ... Pinhead rolls under the barbwire to break the count and rolls back out 1 ... 2 ... Pinhead takes Johnny Gunn to the top turnbuckle Superplex by Pinhead to Gunn, 3 ... 4 ... Pinhead gets up ... 5 ... Pinhead gets back in the ring by jumping over the ropes but he pulls Gunn through the bottom two ropes scraping him through the barbwire. Pinhead signals for a Pindrop. Wait Panther comes up on the MasterTron! He is beating on Big Daddy Dare! Wait here comes Panther from the ceiling! Wait Iceman Jason McGrew comes down and stops Panther! Iceman sends Panther into the steps! They fight near the outside where Pinhead has Gunn. Wait Gunn low blows Pinhead! Gunn slings Pinhead into the barbwire! He goes for the Dogg's Bite, but Iceman trips Gunn from the outside! Gunn turns around and looks at Iceman! Wait Pinhead runs and rams Gunn from behind into the barbwire! Pinhead then makes a quick cover! 1, 2, 3!! Pinhead wins with a little help from Iceman!!! Iceman then leaves! We will be back!

#5 Razor Ramon .v. X-Paq: Panther
JH: Panther comes out first. We will have to see if Ramon makes it after the attack earlier tonight! There is his music. Here comes Ramon! He is limping, but he is going to wrestle! The fans go crazy!! The bell has rung. Panther hits Razor in the back with a pair of brass knuckles on. This match is under way. Wait he low blow Ramon! He takes out a chain and chokes Ramon with it! The ref pulls Panther off! The ref argues with Panther! Wait here comes Vigilante X with a baseball bat! X breaks the bat over the head of Ramon!! The ref turns around calls for the bell! Ramon wins by DQ!! X is still pounding on Ramon!! Here comes some officials! Wait X nails the officials and jumps out of the ring and runs to the back! Wait here comes Johnny Gunn with a shovel! Gunn nails Ramon with the shovel! Wait here comes some local police officiers! They stop Gunn and Panther and drag them away! This is WILD! We will be back!

#6 WC: Syxx Pac .v. Da Man
(Lightweight Championship)
JH: This match is for the WFW lightweight championship! Pinhead vacanted the title and these two will fight for it!
[On Mastertron and on tv, it flashes the WFW logo with the world Lightweight Championship written by it]
This match is under way, Da Man starts it off. Shoulder block by Man. Wait, another shoulder block! Da Man picks up syxx pac and gives him a powerslam. He goes back and runs and goes for an elbow drop, but Syxx Pac rolls out of the way. Syxx Pac with an elbow drop. Now he starts stomping Da Man into the corner, he puts him on the turnbuckle and goes for a suplex off the turnbuckle but Da Man reverses it and turns it into a slam off the turnbuckle. Da Man follows it up with a frog splash, but Syxx Pac raises his knees to kick Da Man. Syxx Pac now slaps on the crossface, it looks like Da Man is in for it, but he hits the ropes. Syxx Pac picks him up and goes for a piledriver and hits him into the canvas. Wait here comes the new manager, Myth, with a chair! The ref jumps outside and stops him! Wait here comes Razor Ramon from the crowd with a 2X4! Ramon nails Syxx Pac with the 2X4!! Ramon then leaves through the crowd! Wait it looks like Myth is leaving now! The ref jumps back into the ring! Da Man has covered Syxx Pac! 1, 2, 3!! Da Man is the NEW Lightweight Champion!!! Wait here comes another masked man from under the ring! He nails Da Man from behind with a baseball bat! He broke the bat over his head!!! Wait he has a bottle FAYGO liquid and he pours it on the head of Da Man! The masked man is now leaving the ring after his vicious attack on Da Man. He is stopped by Kevin Ham, who ask him for an interview.
Ham:"Um...Sir....May I ask you a few questions?"
Masked Man:"Make it quick."
Ham:"Well why did you attack Da Man?"
Masked Man:"I attack Da Man because he ran his damn mouth about me. He had to f*ck with me, and like I always say DFWM or..."
[The masked man then reaches up and takes off his mask.]
Masked Man:"...Don't f*ck with Milenko. I'm back and Da Man, you were just the first to fall. Now Syxx Pac, listen to me man, I say this as a friend. Watch your back with the Wrecking Crew 'cause they will turn their back on you in a minute."
[Milenko then storms away in a violent laughter.]
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#7 eWo: Jakal .v. Joe Jackson
(American Championship)
JH: This match is for the American Title, it is now underway. Jakal starts off. Running Lariat by Jakal. Jakal picks Jackson and gets him with an atomic drop, jackson is down. Jackson gets up and stumbles into a double arm ddt by Jakal. Jakal picks him up by his hair, and Joe is standing now, he is hammering away at Jakal's chest, he gives him a quick irish whip. Jakal goes to duck joe in the return, but Joe picks him up and gives him a backbreaker. Joe now with an elbow drop into the back. Joe must now be working on his back. He goes down and trys to get Jakal in a surfboard but jakal stops it. Both start getting up and Jakal hands Joe with a big boot, and follows with a knee. Now he goes for a frankensteiner but Joe reverses it and hits Jakal with a gut Wrench powerbomb! Joe pins , 1, 2, kickout! Joe now goes for another surfboard and locks it on. Jakal after a while somehow hits the ropes, he is now holding his back from the pain. Joe gets him in the Jackson Jam Slam before Jakal has time to react. Joe pins, ref counts 1,2,3! Jackson is the new American Champion!! Wait here comes Panther and Johnny Gunn! Wait the Mean Street Posse stop them! Jackson joins the Posse! We have a big brawl here! Here comes some officials! We wil be back with our Main Event!

#8 The Shocker .v. Iceman Jason McGrew .v. Freak
(Intercontinental Championship/Triple Threat Match)
JH: All 3 men are in the ring and here we go! Iceman and Shocker pound on Freak. Short-Arm Clothesline by Iceman on Shocker. Stalled Suplex by Iceman on Freak. Iceman sends Shocker into the ropes and hits a Lou Thez Press on him. Iceman picks up Freak, but Freak knees him in the gut. Spinning Heel Kick by Freak. Leg Drop by Freak. Freak goes up top. Shocker gets up. Missile Drop Kick by Freak on Shocker. Freak covers Shocker! 1, 2, Iceman breaks it up! DDT by Iceman on Freak. Iceman goes to pick up Shocker, but Shocker low blows him! Shocker gets up and hits a German Suplex on Freak. Powerbomb by Shocker on Iceman. Leg Drop by Shocker. Shocker covers Iceman! 1, 2, Freak breaks it up! Hurricanrana by Freak on Shocker. Freak slams Iceman and goes up top. Freak goes for a Moonsault on Iceman, but Iceman rolls out of the way! Shocker is up and he kicks Iceman. Pedigree by Shocker on Iceman! Cover by Shocker! 1, 2, Freak breaks it up! Drop Kick by Freak on Shocker. Shocker falls outside. Super Kick by Freak on Iceman. Cover by Freak on Iceman! 1, 2, Shocker jumps in and breaks it up! Shocker grabs Freak and drags him outside. Shocker sends Freak into the steel steps! Iceman grabs the ref. Wait here comes Pinhead! He is stopped by Challenge though! Iceman then lets go of the ref and hits a Flying Body Press from the ring to the outside on Freak! Wait Iceman drags Freak over to the Spanish announce table. Running Powerbomb through the table by Iceman on Freak!! Iceman grabs a chair now. Shocker has rolled inside the ring. Iceman gets into the ring. Kick by Shocker. Shocker nails Iceman with the chair! Shocker lays down the chair and picks up Iceman. Freak has slowly made his way up. He is climbing the ropes now. Electric Shock on the chair by Shocker on Iceman! Cover by Shocker on Iceman! 1, 2, Freak comes off with a Flying Elbow Drop on Shocker! Freak picks up Shocker and ties him up in the ropes! The ref tries to free Shocker. Freak slings Iceman into the ropes, but right into the ref! The ref is out! Wait here comes Ramon from the crowd with a 2X4! Challenge is still busy beating on Pinhead! Ramon nails Shocker and Iceman with the board!! Ramon then leaves through the crowd! The ref starts to come around! Life to Death by Freak on Iceman!! 1, 2, 3!! Freak is the NEW Intercontinental Champion!!! Wait Freak grabs the title and a mic!
F: "Tonight I proved my skill to the world, I am ready for the world, is the world ready for me?"
JH: Freak leaves the ring with the title held high! Challenge frees Shocker and helps him to the back! Pinhead gets up and helps Iceman to the back! We are out of time! I will see you Sunday!!
