Thursday Night Rage (5/6/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAGE" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play, as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and ends
at the announce table where Jumbo Hastings and Chris Michaels are sitting.]
JH: Welcome to Thursday Night Rage!! We are
live from the WFW Arena in Los Angeles, CA!! Tonight we have 9 matches for you!! Lets go to the action!!
#1 Da Man .v. Dan Dehart
CM: The first match is Da Man and Dan Dehart. Dehart, extends his hand for respect. Da Man looks around, and starts to shake but Dehart kicks him in the stomach.
JH: Dehart runs for the rope and The Train! The Devastator by Dehart!! 1, 2, 3!! Dehart wins!!!
CM: Dan Dehart wins a cheap match. I think there will be a rematch between these two, soon.
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#2 Joe Jackson .v. WC: The Great Milenko
JH: The next match is Great Milenko vs. Joe Jackson. They start it off by Milenko tossing Jackson into the corner. Milenko is punching Jackson furiously. Jackson pushes Milenko off. Milenko charges at him again, but Joe Jackson powerbombs him.
CM: Jackson pins him 1..2.Kickout. Jawbreaker by Jackson. Neckbreaker by Jackson. Elbow by Jackson. Jackson calls for the The Jackson Jam Slam but Milenko sneaks up behind him and DDTs Jackson.
JH: Scoop Slam by Milenko. Leg Drop by Milenko. Milenko is punching hin
again on the ground. Powerbomb by Milenko. Milenko picks up Jackson but Jackson kicks him. Reverse Russian Leg Sweep by Joe
Jackson.
CM: Inverted STF by Jackson. Milenko is about to tap out, when Jackson lets go. Brainbuster by Jackson. Jackson goes up top, and tries for a splash but Milenko moves.
JH: Milenko goes for The Hook Up, but Jackson backdrops him. Wait a Kick and the Jackson Jam Slam by Jackson!! 1, 2, 3!! Jackson wins!!!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#3 Iceman Jason McGrew .v. Lord Infamous
JH: They lock up. Punches by Infamous. Chop by Infamous. Suplex by Infamous. Piledriver by Infamous. Infamous goes up top.
CM: He goes for a Shooting Star Press, but Iceman moves. Atomic Drop by Iceman. Stalled Suplex by Iceman. Short-Arm Clothesline by Iceman.
JH: Tornado DDT by Iceman. Reverse DDT by Iceman. Iceman goes for a cover. 1, 2, kickout! Side Suplex by Iceman. Iceman throws Infamous outside. Wait Low Blow by Infamous, as Iceman goes after Infamous.
CM: Infamous throws Iceman into the ring post! Infamous picks up a chair. He swings it at Iceman, but Iceman ducks. Splash by Iceman on Infamous against the ring post!
JH: Wait a Running Powerbomb through the Spanish Announce Table over here! Iceman rolls Infamous back in the ring.
CM: The ref checks on Infamous. Wait here comes Joe Jackson with a baseball bat! He nails Iceman with the bat and quickly jumps back outside!
JH: The ref turns around and sees no one except Iceman on the mat! Infamous slowly crawls over and covers Iceman! 1, 2, 3!! Infamous wins!!
CM: Wait Jackson jumps in the ring and spraypaints "JTBJ was here" on the back of Iceman! This feud between each other is NOT over!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#4 Lord of Darkness .v. Trent Walker
(Darkside Match)
JH: The first one to get hung from the noose above the ring loses! This match is under way. Trent starts it off. Bulldog by Trent Walker. Knee by Walker.
CM: DDT by Walker. Walker goes for a German Suplex, but Lord of Darkness reverses it in back to back Belly to Back suplexes! Lord of Darkness with a wrist lock, and chops Walker's arm.
JH: Axe Kick by Darkness. Darkness goes for a chokeslam, but Walker executes a frankensteiner instead. Moonsault by Walker. Leg Drop by Walker. Walker gets Lord of Darkness in a choke and sends him into the canvas.
CM: Walker grabs the noose! He tries to hang LOD, but LOD knees Walker in the gut! Choke Slam by LOD. LOD grabs the noose and hangs Walker!! LOD wins!! LOD then leaves. Officials comes down and take Walker down! After a few minutes, Walker starts to get up.
Trent Walker pulls himself up a blue light goes onto him, and he begins to speak.
Trent: That's it, I've carried this on too long. Turn that damn blue light
off. (The lights shuts off and the house lights come back up.) That's better. Now I come into the WFW expecting to be taken seriously. This joker who calls himself the Lord of Darkness is the only one who takes me seriously, and look what that tells you. I come out here taking my job to the extent I'm told to do. I can't carry on this dark image any more. Prez, I know I'm gonna get in trouble for this, and I know that I'm supposed to play the dark man job, but I can't do it. I played that game for a guy claiming he's an angel. This guy was serious, and I was supposed to play up to this guy and I was supposed to treat him like a savior. I come here hoping to get a better image, but I'm shoved right back where I was before. Hell I even scarred my body (Looking at the scar in his chest) Look at me, I'm a freak show. Tonight I will do something that doesn't agree with my standards of tradition, but prez, screw your ideas, screw your angles, and screw your character, from now on, Trent Walker is Trent Walker, and not the dark guiding light! (Trent starts to walk away and stops) Everything I said will lead you to believe I'll be a totally different person. I'll tell you now, I'll stay with tradition.
Trent tosses the microphone up in the air and leaves the ringside area.
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#5 Razor Ramon .v. Freak .v. HBK
(Non-Title/Triple Threat Match/No DQ)
JH: HBK comes out first. Then Freak's music comes over the PA, but no Freak! Ramon's music begins to play over the PA as fireworks shoot off while Ramon makes his way to the ring.
JH: HBK attacks Ramon as soon as he gets in the ring. Hurricanrana by HBK. Suplex by HBK.
CM: HBK picks up Ramon and slings him into the ropes. Wait Ramon hits a clothesline to HBK. Backbreaker by Ramon on HBK. Russian Leg Sweep by Ramon on HBK. Choke Slam by Ramon on HBK.
JH: Back Suplex by Ramon on HBK. Ramon headbutts HBK.
CM: Ramon goes to pick up HBK, but HBK rakes his eyes! Bulldog by HBK on Ramon. Piledriver by HBK on Ramon.
JH: HBK goes up top and hits a Moonsault on Ramon. HBK picks up Ramon and HBK goes for a Super Kick, but Ramon ducks! Kick and a Fallaway Slam by Ramon.
CM: Wait here comes Freak on a skateboard! He jumps into the ring and nails HBK with the skateboard!
JH: Meanwhile Ramon has gone outside and slides and table inside. He sees Freak and sets it up. Ramon then picks up HBK. Remember this is No DQ! Razor's Edge through the table by Ramon on HBK!! 1, 2, 3!! Ramon wins!! Wait Freak grabs a mic after watching this.
F: "HBK, me and you, we will fight it out Sunday, so we can see who is the better of the two. Sorry Razor, but I had to do it. Me and you both know that you can beat HBK without breaking a sweat, so it doesn't really matter."
CM: Freak then leaves through the crowd while Ramon grabs his belt and walks to the back. HBK gets up mad!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#6 Confucius .v. X-Paq: Sniper .v. X-Paq: Johnny Gunn .v. WC: Heavy Metal Kid
(Lightweight Championship/4 Corners Match/Street Fight)
JH: This match is under way. The match starts with Heavy Metal Kid and Gunn fighting, and Sniper and Confucious fighting. Heavy Metal with a clothesline on Gunn. Gunn gets up and Russian Leg Sweep done to Kid.
CM: Sniper punches Confucious around and then gets him with a backbreaker. Gunn picks up Heavy Metal Kid and scoop slams him, and follow up with an Elbow drop.
JH: Gunn picks up HMK and hits the Dogg's Bite on him!! 1, 2, 3!! HMK is gone! Sniper picks up Confucious and Fireman carry into the ropes. Sniper hits Confucious with his Sniper Bomb!! 1, 2, 3!! Confucious is gone!!
CM: Wait here comes Lord of Darkness! He sets up a table outside and goes inside and attacks both Gunn and Sniper! Wait Choke Slam from the ring to the floor by LOD on Sniper!
JH: Wait another Choke Slam from the ring through the table outside by LOD on Gunn!! LOD then leaves!
CM: Excuse me!
JH: Wait Chris Michaels grabs Gunn and gives Gunn the Doomsday! Then hits the Dogg's Bite on Gunn! Michaels then rolls Gunn back inside and takes a seat next to Jumbo again!
CM: Sniper is back inside and he did not see that attack from that unknown man.
JH: What?! It was you!
CM: What are you talking about? Look Sniper covers Gunn! 1, 2, 3!! Sniper is the NEW Lightweight Champion!!!
JH: I can not believe you!
CM: What did I do?!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#7 Crow .v. WC: Lightning Kid
(Hardcore Championship/Cementary Match)
JH: Well, our cameras are in the cemetary and we are ready to go. Now, Crow takes Lightning Kid and he attacks him with a fury of punches and kicks. Now, he throws him into a tree. Now, Crow kicking him into the ground.
CM: But Kid kicks Crow in the knee and now he is up and pounding on Crow with punches. Now, Kid picks up a shovel off of the ground, he's going to hit Crow with it.... OH NO!
JH: Crow is down. Now, Kid goes up to the tree and climbs up to a branch on it. Now he's going for a big splash off of the top. BUT NO. Crow moves. Now, both men are down!
CM: But Crow gets up first. Now, he takes Kid to the edge of an open grave and he DDT's him right in. Oh my they have both gone in. Now, Crow is on top of Kid and he pounding away at him.
JH: Now, he's kicking him. Now, he takes him out of the grave and he powerbombs him into a shovel. Now, he picks Kid up again and he sends him into a tombstone. Oh my the stone is cracked. Now, Crow picks up a lantern off of the ground and he is about to hit Kid with it, but Kid kicks him in the groin!
CM: Crow falls down and the lantern falls too and it catches the grass on fire. Now, they are fighting around the fire and they are trading punches. Now, Crow hits Kid with a big kick to the head.
JH: Wait Kid falls towards the fire! Kid is on fire! Wait kick by Crow. Bloodflow DDT to the ground by Crow!! Crow then puts out the on Kid so he can pin him! 1, 2, 3!! Crow wins!!! WILD MATCH!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#8 Jakal .v. Garret Bannon
(American Championship)
JH: Okay, both men are in the ring now, and were ready to go. DING DING DING. There's the bell and were underway. Bannon and Jakal lock it up now. Bannon takes the advantage by getting Jakal in a headlock.
CM: But, Jakal turns it around by flinging Bannon into the ropes. Now, Jakal with a running clothesline to Bannon. Now, he's stomping away at him, knee's, kicks. Now he picks him up and hits him with a DDT.
JH: Picks him up again and sends him to the ropes. Big boot by Jakal. Now, he picks up Bannon again and he takes him up to the top turnbuckle. Now, he goes for a superplex..... BUT NO. Bannon punches back at him and knocks him down.
CM: Now, Bannon off the top rope with an elbow drop. Hit's Jakal with it. Now, Bannon picks up Jakal and he hits him with a suplex. Picks him up again and sends him into the corner.
JH: Kicking him in the stomach, punching him in the face. Now, he takes him off and sends him into the ropes. Jakal back off of them, and Bannon gives him a back body drop. Now, Bannon kicks him a bit and picks him up. Hits him with a European elbow and then gives him an atomic drop.
CM: Now Bannon off of the ropes and he give Jakal an elbow. Now he picks him up and goes for a suplex, but Jakal reverses it.
JH: Jakal goes for an Old Glory, but Bannon elbows him. Kick by Bannon. Bannon goes for The Cannon, but Jakal backdrops him! Kick and the Old Glory by Jakal!! 1, 2, 3!! Jakal is the NEW American Champion!!!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#9 Soldier Syxx .v. The Shocker
(World Championship)
JH: Both men are in and here we go! They lock up. Headlock and a Shoulder Block by Shocker. Slam by Shocker. Elbow Drop by Shocker. Piledriver by Shocker.
CM: Suplex by Shocker. Shocker goes for a cover, but Syxx easily kicks out. Punches by Shocker. Shocker slings Syxx into the ropes. Wait Syxx comes off and hits a Spinning Heel Kick to Shocker.
JH: Reverse DDT by Syxx. Hurricanrana by Syxx. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Syxx. Leg Drop by Syxx. Slam by Syxx. Syxx goes up top. 450 Splash by Syxx. Syxx goes for a cover. 1, 2, kickout!
CM: Spin Wheel Kick by Syxx. Syxx goes up top. Suicide Dive by Syxx. Syxx goes back up top. Syxx goes for a Flying Elbow Drop, but Shocker moves!
JH: Shocker gets up and clotheslines Syxx. Powerbomb by Shocker. DDT by Shocker. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Shocker. Stunner by Shocker. Shocker makes a pin! 1, 2, kickout! Pedigree by Shocker. Shocker picks up Syxx.
CM: Shocker goes for the Electric Shock, but Syxx grabs the ropes and Shocker hits the mat!
JH: Syxx gets up. Shocker gets up and Syxx hits a Syxx Kick! Wait the Soldier Slam Driver by Syxx! Cover by Syxx! 1, 2, 3! NO! NO! Shocker's foot is on the ropes!
CM: Syxx argues with the ref! Wait Shocker rolls up Syxx from behind! 1, 2, KICKOUT!! Syxx comes out of it and clotheslines Shocker!
JH: Syxx goes up top and hits a Moonsault on Syxx! Wait a minute the lights go out! Wait he hear a lot of noises. When they come, Jakal and Challenge are pounding on some guy! He obviously was going to interfer!
CM: He looks familar! Wait Syxx hooks his legs around Shocker and rolls him up while he watched the commotion outside! 1, 2, 3!! Syxx wins!! What a wild ending!
JH: We are quickly running out of time! Here comes some officials! They break up the fight!
CM: Syxx and Jakal leave together while Shokcer and Challenge leave together. The officials takes away this mystery man we have seen before, but do not know who he is! Well I will...Wait a minute!
(The camera's are just about to cut off when suddenly out from the back walks out a man dressed in a black trench coat and leather pants. He's wearing a blood red colorish shirt and has the attention of the whole arena for this man is totally unknown and has never been seen here in the WFW. He appears to be carrying a mic and looks about ready to speak....)
Brujah: Although you don't know me, you soon will for the time I have spent in the shadows creeping and choosing my victims carefully has led me here to the WFW. The time has come for an impact like none other to be made and you fans here and all wrestlers shall learn to fear me and know that I am not to be taken lightly.
(Security has been called and are enclosing up on this stranger known only as Brujah....)
Brujah: You can get your feeble security on me but they shall not be able to take me as well as anyone else in this league that has the nerve enough to face me. This isn't the last you will see of.......Brujah!!!!!!!!
(Security has him surrounded now and all rush him and are totally enclosed on him. When the security backs off, they have someone in handcuffs but it isn't the man who calls himself Brujah but one of the security guards....)
JH: Wow!!!!! Where did he go? What just happened!!!!! We'll see you Sunday Night at Sunday Night Fury. Goodnight everybody!!!!
(As camera's begin to fade away, a camera up upbove in the rafters has spotted Brujah, just looking down at the stunned crowd down below with a wicked smile on him just laughing to himself saying, "It's only begun, ha, ha, ha, ha....)
