Thursday Night Rage (4/22/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAGE" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins
to play, as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and ends
at the announce table where Jumbo Hastings is
sitting.]
JH: Welcome to Thursday Night Rage!! We are
live from the Joyce Center in South Bend,
IN!! Tonight we have 10 matches for you!!
Lets go to Lightning Kid with Kevin Ham in
the ring now!!
Kevin Ham: Lightning Kid, you have to put the
Lightweight Title on the line tonight against
the person who helped you win it.
Kid: Yeah, I don't care who my oppenent is,
I'll just get past them.
KH: What is your situation with X-PAC?
Kid: I hate them, I can't wait to beat Johnny
Gunn again, and then get Sniper again.
KH: Are you gonna face either of them in the
future?
Kid: I wish I could face them tonight, but
I'm busy, so I have to wait til, Sunday, to
prove to them I'M THE BEST LIGHTWEIGHT IN THE
BIZ!! And I got this belt to prove it.
KH: Isn't that Johnny Gunn's saying?
Kid: Who?, Oh Yeah, the dude, who's gonna get
beat my Doom tonight. No, cause I got 4 Words
for him: BEWARE OF LIGHTNING BOLT!!!!!!!!
JH: Now lets go to a local hospital in Los
Angeles where Jeff Major is recover from his
burns.
[The cameras zoom into Major's room and it
shows Major sitting up in bed with bandages
covering him. Then the cameras fade to black
and fade back to the ring.]
#1 Lord Infamous .v. Nick Castle
JH: Castle comes out with his manager, The
Shape. Infamous starts off the match trying
to irish whip Castle, but he won't budge, and
castle kicks him, then swinging
neckbreaker! Nick stomps Infamous, Infamous
gets up, and Castle with the russian leg
sweep. Castle heads to
the floor now with an ankle lock to Infamous.
Infamous is far away from the rope but he
makes it. Infamous gets
up and big boot to Castle into the
turnbuckle. Castle is dazed now and Infamous
clims the turnbuckle and pucnhes
castle, 1, 2, 3, 4, Castle grabs him and gut
wrench powerbomb. Castle picks up Infamous
and clotheslines him outside! Castle grabs
the ref. Castle's manager, The Shape, grabs
Infamous and hits a Scrpion Death Drop to the
floor. Then rolls Infamous back in. Medevial
Drop by Castle!! 1, 2, 3!!! Castle wins!!!
#2 The Great Milenko .v. Freak
(Fun House Match)
JH: They are both in the funhouse now.
Milenko and Freak are waiting, now
we hear a bell and this is underway. Freak
attacks Milenko. He begins to kick and punch
away at him. He takes him over to the mirrors
and he smashes his head right through the
mirror. Now, Milenko is bleeding pretty
badly. But, Freak continues. He hits him with
a gorilla press slam onto the hardwood floor.
Now he takes him into a room with all sorts
of neon light and he begins to pound away
again. He bodyslams him onto the floor again.
Now, he picks him up and DDT's him. Now, he
takes him into the darkness room. We can't
see a damn thing. Listen there are screams by
Freak, now Milenko comes out with his own
blood covering him, but he is also draggin
Freak out with him. Now, he takes Freak and
he goes into the mirror room and he dashes
him into a mirror. It shatters and covers
Freak with glass. Now, Milenko goes after him
again and he suplex's him right onto the
glass shards. Freaks back is all bloody now.
Now, Milenko though begins to kick on him.
Now he picks him up and he suplex's him
again. Now, he takes him up again and he goes
for a Russian leg sweep. But out of no-where
Freak calls to some energy reserve and he
reverses it. Now both men are down on the
floor. Freak sets up a table and a ladder.
Freak picks up Milenko and climbs the ladder.
Insanity through the table by Freak!! 1, 2,
3!!! Freak wins!!!
(The Lord's music begins to play as the arena
goes dark. The arena then turns red as the
Lord of Darkness walks out. He slowly walks
to the ring,gets in and the interview
begins.)
Ham: Alright Lord as we all know you took the
night off. Why?
LOD: Well,i have never wrestled before i came
to the WFW and it takes alot out of you. So i
thought it would be good for me to take a
night off.
Ham: Alright,so what about Gunn and Panther.
You have put them through hell. Are you done
ith them?
LOD: Hell NO i aint done ith them. On Sunday
i am gonna take both of them out one more
time,and hey you never know i am in the
building so they better watch their backs.
Ham: Alright my last question. Why havent you
gone after any titles. You have focused all
of your attention on Gunn and Panther. Why?
LOD: Why you ask. Well i will tell you why.
They walk around here talking about how they
are the best. Well in the past couple of
weeks i have proved that they aint SH*T! And
just let me warn both Gunn and Panther. Just
because i aint wrestling tonight dont mean
that i wont strike yet again. So mark my
words, watch your back!
Ham:Thank you. Ladies and gentlemen, i
present to you the Lord of Darkness.
(With that the lights go out. Then the arena
turns blood red and we can see that the Lord
has disappeared.)
#3 Heavy Metal Kid .v. Joe Jackson
(Buried Alive Match)
JH: The match starts up. Joe Bruiser irish
whips Heavy Metal Kid into his fist. Joe
stomps away at Kid's face. He picks kid up by
his hair, and fireman carry into the railing.
Kid grabs his head from the head, and Joe
picks him up, and Heavy Metal Kid hits him a
few times, then gives him an atomic drop. Joe
grabs himself in pain, and Kid locks up with
a Figure Four and holds it on for a while
then releases. He picks Jackson up for a
brain buster, but he counters it halfway and
german suplex. Jackson picks him up, and give
shim a brainbuster into the concrete! Oh, Kid
is hurting! Joe starts punching at kid, but
sunset flip. Kid lets go. Kid tackles joe,
and he lands near the pit. Kid picks joe up
and goes to headbutt Jackson into the grave,
but he elbows him. Jackson sets him up for a
Jackson Jam Slam, but Psycho comes out of
nowhere and nails Jackson with a shovel! Wait
here comes Iceman Jason McGrew! He picks up
Jackson and hits an Ice Cold Stunner on him!
Jackson falls into the grave! Kid climbs up
on the tombstone and hits a Rock N Roll into
the grave! Kid then buries Jackson!! Kid
wins!! Psycho picks up a mic and says "Hey
even though I joined 7SOA and found a new
family doesn't mean I forgot about my real
family."
KH: What a match that was, Jumbo. The Cell is
lowering, and we are geting ready for Jakal
and Syxx Pac to battle the men that our
broadcast partner, Jay Powers is standing by
with now, the Bomb Squad!!!!! Take it away,
Jay!
*** Powers knocks on the door that says
"X-PAQ" on it in big neon green letters.***
Sniper: Who the hell is that? Oh it's just
you. What do you want?
JP: I just wated some pre-match comments
before you go out into the Cell match.
Sniper: Oh, ok! Hey yo, "P", there's a fat
bastard at the door who wants an interview.
It looks like that punk we beat up before.
But he's so bruised, I can't tell. You want
an interview?
Panther: Hell no, I don't want an interview.
I've talk to those damn WFW cameras all week
until I'm was blue in the face. Get rid of
that fat ass. Tell him we'll do our talking
in the Cell.
Sniper: Did you hear that, tubby Jay Powers?
We don't want to talk to you or anybody else
from the WFW. All we want is to kick the rear
ends of those punk by the name of Jakal, and
Syxx Pac. So just watch the match, and you'll
get all the interview you need. As for now,
we need to get down there, and you're holding
us up. So Jakal, and Pac, get ready for the
worst beating of you life. And you, Jay
Powers, you take this camera, and mic, and
stick where the sun don't shine, son!!!
(Silence for 30 seconds. The camera is still
there.)
Sniper: What didn't you understand. That's
it! Cut it. They're playing our music, P.
Let's go. Let's do it up one time for South
Bend. X-Paq style!!
***The Bomb Squad leave the locker room with
Beulah, and pie face the camera, and Powers
on the way out.***
KH: Wow, the Squad is intense, and ready for
this match. Let's get to it.
#4 X-Paq: Sniper and Panther .v. Syxx Pac and
Jakal
(Hell in a Cell Match)
JH: Ladies and gentlemen, this is a weird
match. A tag team Hell in a cell! The match
begins, and Syxx Pac starts it up for the ewo
and drop kicks Sniper. Sniper falls back onto
the rope. Syxx irish whips Sniper into his
team's turnbuckle, and Jakal hits Sniper, and
Syxx Pac runs up to kick, but Sniper moves
out of the and Syxx Pac connects into the
turnbuckle. Sniper grabs from behind and
gives him a belly to back suplex. He kicks
him to Panther and they make the tag. Sniper
and Panther team up for a double clothesline.
Sniper goes outside and Panther locks on the
camel clutch and Syxx grabs the ropes. Syxx
gets up fighting and punches Panther around
the ring and scoop slam. Syxx pins, 1,2,
Sniper runs in and hits Syxx off. Sniper
grabs Syxx and throws him out of the ring.
Here comes Lord of Darkness! He tries to
interfer, but the cell stops him! Jakal runs
in and nails Sniper! Old Glory by Jakal on
Sniper!! Panther nails Jakal! Syxx Pac jumps
back in the ring and grabs Panther from
behind. Type O Negative by Syxx on Panther!!
1, 2, 3!! Syxx and Jakal win!!
#5 Mikey Shipwreck .v. Soldier Syxx
(Cage Match)
JH: The cage is lowered and this match
begins! Shipwreck and Solider Syxx lock up.
Body slam by shipwreck. Shipwreck starts
raking Solider Syxx's face and he screams in
pain. Syxx grabs face and ets up, and
Shipwreck grabs him for a chicken wing, but a
jab and an eye gouge by Syxx. Syxx grabs
Mikey and gives him a slingshot over the
ropes. Syxx climbs out of the ring and whips
Mikey into the cage. Cage clims up the cage a
bit and knee drop, but Mikey Shipwreck grabs
a trash can and bang! Syxx falls in pain.
Mikey smashes the trash can into syxx's
chest, and picks him up, and ddt into a
table! Shipwreck grabs a boombox and swings
it at Solider Syxx, but low blow! Solider
Syxx grabs the boombox and smashes it in
Shipwreck's face then climbs up the cage. He
almost makes it, and Shipwreck rocks the cage
and Solider Syxx falls and hits the ground.
Shipwreck picks up Syxx. He goes for a
Shippersnapper but Syxx pushes him away.
Shipwreck turns around and gets hit with a
Syxx Kick by Syxx! Solider Slam Driver by
Syxx!! Rings of Syxx by Syxx! Shipwreck gives
up!! Soldier Syxx wins!!!
#6 X-Paq: Johnny Gunn .v. Doom
(Hell in a Cell Match)
JH: Okay, here we go it's Johnny Gunn versus
Doom in a cage match. The cage has been
lowered and they are both in the ring and
there's the bell. They, lock up and Doom
throws Gunn down and he begins to stomp on
him. Doom, with kicks to his abdomen and
kidneys. Now, Doom picks him up and tosses
him out of the ring and into the cage. Now,
Doom gets on the top rope and he goes flying
off.... He lands right on target with a
flying body press. They both go flying into
the cage. Now, Doom, is up and he throws Gunn
into the ring. Sends him to the ropes.
Running clothesline. But, Gunn ducks, and he
kicks Doom to the stomach as he turns around.
Now, Gunn DDT's Doom to the mat. Now, Gunn is
up and he is on the top rope, now as Doom
gets up Gunn jumps off and hits him with a
big top-rope bulldog. Now, he starts to kick
on him. Picks him up and does a big suplex.
Picks him up again, and hit's him with a
piledriver. Now, he elbows drops him. Now,
Gunn up again and he begins to stomp on Doom.
Now, Gunn goes to the top rope and he comes
off for a big elbow. He hits it. Now, Gunn
picks him up. The Dogg's Bite by Gunn!! 1, 2,
3!! Gunn wins!!! Wait here comes Sniper down
to the ring! Lightning Kid charges down and
attacks him! Panther come down! Here comes
Heavy Metal Kid to help Lightning Kid! Here
comes some officials to break it up!!
#7 Lightning Kid .v. Syxx Pac
(Lightweight Championship)
JH: They are both in the ring now, and we're
about to start this lightweight battle off.
Kid, runs and attacks Pac. He takes him down
and he begins to pound away with punches.
Now, he's up and he begins to kick and knee
Pac. Now, he picks Pac up and he suplexs him.
Now, He grabs him up again and he gets him
with a few more punches, now he throws Pac
into the ropes, and follows up with a
spinning heel kick. Pac is down after that
impact. Now, Pac is pulled up again by
Lightning Kid and he gets him with a big DDT
right into the mat. Now, he kicks him a bit
more, then he gets up and he runs to the rope
and gets him with a leg-drop. Now, Kid up to
the top rope and he goes for a star press,
but Pac MOVES. Now, they are both laying
there and the ref is beginning to count.
1..2..3..4..5.. Pac is up and he goes for the
pin. 1...2...NO. Kid kicks out. But, Pac just
comes back with a few kicks and he picks him
up and deleivers a big suplex. Now, Pac up
again and he picks up Kid and gives him a
neckbreaker. Now, he goes to the top, and he
hits Kid with a big shooting star press. Type
O Negative by Syxx Pac!! 1, 2, 3!! Syxx Pac
is the NEW Lightweight Champion!! Here comes
Johnny Gunn, but Jakal cuts him off!
Officials break it up soon after!
#8 7SOA: The Shocker .v. Messiah
(Cage/One-Half Tag Champs Match)
JH: Both men are in the cage and here we go!
Shocker pounds on Messiah. Shocker rams
Messiah into the cage! Kick and a Stunner by
Shocker. Rock Bottom by Shocker. Elbow Drop
by Shocker. Powerbomb by Shocker. Shocker
pounds on Messiah. Wait low blow by Messiah!
Messiah grabs Shocker and throws him into the
cage! Piledriver by Messiah. Sidewalk Slam by
Messiah. Elbow Drop by Messiah. Boston Crab
by Messiah. But Shocker uses his leg strength
to push Messiah into the cage breaking the
hold! Suplex by Shocker. Leg Drop by Shocker.
Pedigree by Shocker. Shocker begins to climb
up the cage. Messiah is back up. Shocker is
at the top of the cage. Messiah leaps and
grabs Shocker. Messiah starts to climb up the
cage. Messiah pounds on Shocker. Superplex
from the cage by Messiah! Messiah struggles
up. He starts stomping on Shocker.
Pump-Handle Slam by Messiah. Powerbomb by
Messiah. Messiah climbs the cage and hits a
Leg Drop from the cage! Messiah picks up
Shocker and puts him on the top turnbuckle.
Messiah climbs up. Messiah tries to pick up
Shocker for the Armeggedon, but Shocker rakes
him in the eyes. Shocker then grabs Messiah
and repeatly rams the head of Messiah into
the cage! Messiah is bleeding!! Messiah falls
to the mat. Big Splash from the top rope by
Shocker! Electric Shock by Shocker! Wait
another Electric Shock by Shocker! Shocker
climbs the cage! Shocker goes up and out of
the cage! Shocker wins!!! Shocker is now a
Tag Team Champion with Jeff Major!!
#9 WP: Jason Hamilton .v. 7SOA: The Scribe
(Non-Title/No DQ Match)
JH: Both men are in the ring now. Hamilton
from the WolfPac and Scribe from 7SOA. This
should be a good match, with alot of grudges
to be settled. There's the bell and they
start it off. Hamilton rushes at Scibe but
Scribe pulls his hand out of his pocket and
he has brass knuckles on it. He smashes
Hamilton with them. Now, Hamilton is down,
and Scribe hits him a couple of more times
with those brass knuckles. Now, Scribe goes
to the outside and gets a chair. He goes to
the top with it. It looks like he could be
going for a chair shot off the top....
and........ Hamilton does an amazing jump
drop kick and he kicks it right into Scribes
face. Now, Hamilton is up. He grabs the chair
and he whacks Scribe with it right in the
face. Scribes face has been busted open. Now,
Hamilton drops the chair and he begins to
kick and knee away at Scribe. Now, he picks
him up and hes going for a power bomb. But,
Scribe reverses it into a body drop right on
the chair. Hamliton has hurt his back. But,
look at Scribe his face is covered with
blood. But now he is up and he picks up
Hamilton and he DDT's him right onto the
chair. Now, he picks him up again he sets him
in the turnbuckle. He now runs with the chair
but Hamilton moves and Scribe goes crashing
into the chair and turnbuckle. Now, Hamilton
grabs him and DDT's him. Absolute Zero by
Hamilton on the chair!! 1, 2, 3!! Hamilton
wins!!
[The cameras then goes back to the hospital
and they see that the camera at the hospital
is on the ground and Major is gone from his
room! They fade back to the ring.]
#10 WP: Jon Stewart .v. 7SOA: Psycho
(American Championship)
JH: They lock up. Knee to the gut by Psycho.
Suplex by Psycho. DDT by Psycho. Psycho goes
up top. Frog Splash by Psycho. Psycho goes
back top. 450 Splash by Psycho. Psycho makes
a cover. 1, 2, kickout! Psycho goes for a
Death Valley Driver, but Stewart turns it
into a DDT! Side Suplex by Stewart.
Shoulderbreaker by Stewart. Bulldog by
Stewart. Back Suplex by Stewart. Stewart goes
for a Powerbomb, but Psycho reverses it into
a Frankensteiner! Reverse Tornado DDT by
Psycho. Psycho goes up top and waits. Stewart
gets up. Shooting Star Clothesline by Psycho.
Cover by Psycho. 1, 2, KICKOUT! Psycho puts
Stewart on the top rope. Hangman's
Neckbreaker by Psycho. Death Valley Driver by
Psycho. Psycho covers Stewart. 1, 2,
KICKOUT!! That was close! Psycho slams
Stewart and goes up top. Psycho goes for a
Shooting Star Press, but Stewart moves! Kick
by Stewart. Piledriver by Stewart. Powerbomb
by Stewart. Gillotine Drop by Stewart. Boot
to the face by Stewart. Full Nelson by
Stewart. But Psycho backs Stewart into a
corner! Psycho puts Stewart on the top rope.
Top Rope Frankensteiner by Psycho! Psycho
picks up Stewart. Psycho goes for the
Psychotic Crippler, but Stewart ducks down
and drives the head of Stewart into the
corner! Kick by Stewart. The Demolisher by
Stewart!! Wait the lights dim and the ring is
suddenly surrounded by fire! Then a man in
black appears. The lights go out and when
they go back on! The man is gone and Psycho
is on top of Stewart in the ring! 1, 2, 3!!
Psycho is the NEW American Champion!! We are
out of time! See you Sunday!!
