Thursday Night Rage (4/15/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "RAGE" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins
to play, as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and ends
at the announce table where Jumbo Hastings is
sitting.]
JH: Welcome to Thursday Night Rage!! We are
live from the Key Arena in Seattle, WA!!
Tonight we have 11 matches for you!! Lets go
to this quick interview and then to the
ring!!
(The cameras cut to a forest, dead of night,
nothing there, but you know something will
be. The camera zooms in on an area, there is
Crow, looking straight at the camera, he
screams to it...)
Crow: Soon enough, my evolution begins, my
match tonight is first of my return. So it
has been said, so it shall be written, and so
it shall come to pass, so says the Crow,
forevermore!
(The camera fades to black.)
#1 Iceman Jason McGrew .v. Masked Murder
JH: Masked Murder walks as "Iron Man" by
Black Sabbath plays up on the pa. He goes to
one of the corners. Iceman comes out and runs
to Masked Murder, he clotheslines masked
murder, the bell rings. Iceman jumps on
Masked Murder and starts pounding on him.
1,2,3,4,5,6 ... Masked Murder fights
back with an eye gouge. Down goes
Iceman. Masked Murder gets up and stomps away
at masked murder. He then starts choking him
with his boot in Iceman's face. Iceman grabs
his foot and flips him over. Then he gets a
crossface on him. Masked Murder doesn't tap
out, he grabs the ropes. The ref releases the
hold. Iceman picks up Masked Murder, but he
starts jabbing Iceman, and then grabs him and
irish whips him, he lays down and iceman goes
over him, and he comes back and Flying
Clothesline by Masked Murder. Masked Murder
goes up top for a knee drop but misses.
Iceman gets up and grabs Masked Murder by his
hair and throws him into the turnbuckle and
running knee! Iceman throws Murder outside!
Running Powerbomb through the announce table
by Iceman!! Iceman rolls him inside! Iceman
gets him in his Ice Cold Stunner and boom,
down goes Masked Murder! He pins and the ref
makes the count, one, two, three!!!!!!!!!!!
Iceman wins! Wait here comes the Lord of
Darkness! He chokeslams Murder through
another table!!
#2 Duke Nukem .v. Doom
JH: Duke come out with Bombshell who has a
chair in her hands! Both men are in the ring,
and we're ready to go. There's the bell and
this match is on. Doom, and Duke, lock it up.
Duke takes it from the start and gets Doom in
a headlock. Duke is really pushing on it.
Hurting Doom. But, now Doom picks him up and
he tries to turn around, but Duke only takes
that and turns in into a DDT. Now, Duke kicks
and knees him a little. Then Duke picks him
up and sends him to the rope. Duke hits him
with a big clothesline. Doom is down.
Bombshell sets the chair next to Jumbo and
grabs a headset.
B: "Tonight, after Duke nukes this ugly mug,
I will slap some bitches a little bit after
that"
JH: Now Duke, grabs him and gets him in a
camel clutch. The ref is askind Doom if he
gives up. But no. Doom is making his way to
the rope. He is almost there. Almost there.
But Duke pulls back. Now, Doom, getting
cheered on by the crowd is standing up. And
he is up and Duke is off him. But it will
take more than that to stop Duke. He is right
back at it hammering away at Doom. Now Doom,
is down again. This time though Duke goes to
the top and goes for a moonsault. But, Doom
moves, and Duke hits the canvas. Duke is out.
Now Doom, gets up and begins to kick away at
Duke. Now, picks him up and running bull-dog.
Now, Doom picks him up again, and powerslam.
Picks him up again, and gorilla press slam.
Doom kicks him right in the kidneys a few
times. Then picks him up and smashes his head
into the turnbuckle. Now again, and again,
and again, and again, and again. That is it.
Duke is down cold. But Doom is not done. He
goes up to the top. And he is about to go for
a big splash off the top, but Duke somehow
just got up and kicked the rope. This is
incredible I have never seen anything like
what Duke just did. But, now both men are
down, except Doom is on the outside, and he
is being counted. 1.....2.....3....4.... He
is getting up and so is Duke.
5.....6......7....8......9....Doom is in the
ring, but he is being met by a bunch of
punches and kicks from Duke. Now Duke, with a
drop toe hold, into a surfboard. But he lets
Doom go, and he gets up and Suplexs him. Now
Duke picks up Doom and he gets him with a
spinning heel kick. Bombshell gets up from
the announce table and slides the chair into
the ring! Nuclear Meltdown on the chair by
Nukem!! 1, 2, 3!!! Duke wins!! Bombshell and
Duke leave!
#3 Lisa .v. Beulah .v. Fyre .v. Bombshell
(Women's 4 Corners Match)
JH: We are all going to love this contest.
It's another contest spicing up action on the
women's scene here in the WFW. This is only
the second of the kind in this fed. All 4
women are in the ring! Alright here we go!
Beulah and Fyre start out in this unique
match. Irish whip by Fyre. Clothsline by
Fyre. Legdrop by Fyre. Power bomb attempt by
Fyre, but it's blocked by a hair pull from
Lisa on the outside. Heated words between
these two. Wait a minute! Roll up by Beulah!
1, 2, kickout by Fyre. That was so close.
Beulah tags in Lisa! Standing dropkick by
Lisa, DDT by Lisa. Hangman's neckbreaker by
Lisa. Man, Fyre is really taking a beating
here. Bombshell makes a blind tag. Lisa
doesn't know about it. Look out! Spinning
heel kick by Bombshell. Very impressive move.
These women are really showing that they
belong in the WFW. It's a fight to the end.
The survival of the fittest. And people here
don't want a women's title! They certainly
deserve it! Bombshell going up top, watch it,
flying huracanranna on Lisa. My, how the
tables haev turned in this one. This newly
formed stable of the X-PAQ, trying to make a
name for themselves. The co-leaders, Sniper
and Panther formed this "new revolution" last
Sunday at Spring Rumble 99'! Bombshell is
going for a blond bombshell, but Beulah with
a frying pan behind the referee's back.
Bombshell isn't moving at all. Wait here
comes Doom! He runs to the ring and carries
Bombshell off to the back! Wait, look who
just jumped out of the crowd. It' Duke Nukem!
He just slid in the ring, at he's got Lisa.
No, no, no!!! What is going to do to her?!
He's going to powerbomb her!!! Hold on a
second, Beulah from behind with a chair to
Nukem's head. Fyre with a kick below the
belt, and Lisa with a rocker dropper.
Cover?!!!! 1, 2, 3. Lisa pinned Duke
Nukem!!!! Lisa wins!! Wait, they can't do
that can they? The ref is holding her hand up
in victory. She's the winner!! We have a EMT
crew out here attending to Bombshell. She
hasn't moved since the frying pan. Fyre has
left through the crowd for some reason.
*** "Make Em' Say Uhh" by Master P blasts on
the PA, and here comes the other 3/5 of the
X-Paq, Sniper, Panther, and J-Dogg. They get
Beulah, and Lisa and leave.***
JH: Lets continue on now after that wild
match!
#4 Confucious .v. ???
JH: They lock up. Reverse DDT by Confucious.
Flying Headscissors by Confucious. DDT by
Confucious. Confucious goes up top. He goes
for a 450 Splash, but ??? moves. Stun Gun by
???. Spear by ???. Suplex by ???. Reverse DDT
by ???. Leg Drop by ???. ??? goes for a No
Questions Powerbomb, but Confucious turns it
into a Hurricanrana. Piledriver by
Confucious. Confucious goes up top. Moonsault
by Confucious. Confucious sets up ??? for The
Omen, but ??? lowblows Confucious! ??? throws
Confucious outside the ring! ??? goes out
too!! The ref begins to count! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
both men jump into the crowd and begin to
fight!! 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!! Both men have been
counted out, but they still fight in the
crowd!!
#5 Crow .v. Mikey Shipwreck
JH: Crow walks out to the ring as "Wherever I
May Roam" by Metallica plays on the pa. Mikey
Shipwreck walks out to the arena as "End
Begins" by Earth Crisis plays on the pa.
Mikey immediatly attacks crow and starts
puncing him. The bell rings! Mikey trys to
drop kick but crow grabs him and throws him
down. Crow picks him up and powerslam! Crow
stomps away at Mikey's face. Mikey gets up
and clotheslines crow. He picks crow up and
chosp him, then goes for a belly to back
suplex, but crow counters it with a russian
leg sweep. Crow goes up top and Asai
Moonsault on Mikey. Crow picks Mikey up.
Mikey starts punching
and it doesnt affect Crow. Mikey irish whips
crow into the rope and goes to clothesline
but crow ducks. Crow turns and superkicks
Mikey. Crow pins one, two, kickout. Mikey
stummbles up and Crow gives him a bulldog.
Mikey is hurt! Crow goes up top rope, and
Mikey gets up, and bam! Crow's Flight on
Mikey Shipwreck. Crow grabs him by his hair
and taunts, then gets Mikey in the Bloodflow
DDt, Mikey Shipwreck is punching his ribs but
its no use.Bang! Crow covers him with an arm,
one, two, three! Crow Wins!
#6 Lord of Darkness .v. X-Paq: Panther and
X-Paq: Johnny Gunn
(Handicap Match)
JH: Johnny Gunn and Panther walk out to the
ring. Lord of Darkness runs to the ring with
Iceman Jason McGrew! McGrew stays on the
outside! Lord jumps into the ring and
clotheslines Panther. Johnny goes to attack
him but Lord clotheslines him too. The match
starts. Panther rolls out of the ring, and
Lord of Darkness picks up Johnny Gunn and
gets him with a scoop slam. Lord pounds away
at Johnny. He picks him up and powerslam!
Lord starts choking, and Panther runs in to
break the hold and hits lord in the back.
Lord goes down. Panther picks him up and
holds him, and Superkick by Johnny Gunn.
Johnny picks Lord up and irish whips him inot
the ropes. Johnny and Panther team up to
clothesline Lord, he ducks.Then returns and
flying clotheslines both of them. Panther
leaves the ring. Lord picks Gunn up, but he
knees Lord and grabs him and tags panther in,
panther with a moonsault into Lord of
Darkness. Gunn gets out, and Panther throws
lord into the turnbuckle. Panther starts to
choke lord, but lord reverses it.
Lord picks him up and choke slam. Lord stands
on his hands, and drops onto Panther's neck.
Panther grabs his neck from the pain. Lord
chokes Panther. Johnny comes in and knocks
lord off of Panther. Lord grabs Johnny and
gives him a choke slam! Wait Cole jumps the
railing and throws a fireball into the eyes
of both Panther and Gunn while Lord distracts
the ref! Lord covers Panther!! 1, 2, 3!! Lord
of Darkness wins!! Wait here comes Lord
Infamous from the ceiling with two nuses!!
Infamous and Darkness put the ropes around
the neck of Panther and Gunn! Darkness and
Infamous then HANG Gunn and Panther!!! They
are not done though! After Gunn and Panther
are out, they take them down and drag them to
the back. They throw them into a hearse and
drive off! Wait they stop at a graveyard and
they throw them into two graves with their
names on it!! Then they bury Panther AND
Gunn!!! MY GOD!! Lets go back to the arena!
#7 X-Paq: Sniper .v. Cursefire
(Lightweight Championship)
JH: Cursefire walks out into the ring and
waits for Sniper. Sniper walks out next and
the bell rings. Sniper runs at Cursefire and
starts punching him and beats him to the
floor. Sniper applys a figure four. Cursefire
grabs the ropes. Cursefire gets up, and meets
with a big boot by sniper. Sniper throws him
into the turnbuckle. Sniper goes to try a
moonsault, but cursefire catches him and
powerslam. Cursefire picks up Sniper and DDT.
Cursefire elbow drops Sniper but he rolls out
of the way. Cursefire stumbles up and chop by
Sniper, then a clothesline. Sniper goes up to
the top and Flying Elbow drop by sniper.
Cursefire moans from the hit, and struggles
to get up. Sniper goes for a bulldog, but
Russian Leg Sweep by Cursefire. Cursefire
punds away at sniper. Cursefire pins, one,
tw... kickout. Sniper gets up and Piledriver
by Sniper. Sniper pins, one, two, thr...
Cursefire gets his foot on the rope. Sniper
applys a sleeper hold and it tires Cursefire,
he releases the hold. He picks Cursefire up
for a tiger bomb. Sniper hits him with the
Tiger Bomb. He pins, one, two, three!! Sniper
wins!! Wait Scott Cole jumps the railing and
throws a fireball into the eyes of Sniper!!
Then he leaves!
#8 Jason Hamilton .v. Scott Cole
(Hardcore Championship/Last Man Standing)
JH: Cole is in the ring. Then fireworks shoot
off as Jason Hamilton makes his way to the
ring.
JH: Here we go with our next match. It is a
last man standing, knockout match. This
should be very interessting match. They are
about to start it off. Here they go, Hamilton
and Cole lock up and Hamilton takes the
advantage by throwing Cole over the top to
the outside. Now Hamilton right after him.
They trade blows on the outside with Cole
getting the better of Hamilton. Hamilton is
stunned now. And look Cole has a chair. And
he bashes it over Hamiltons head. He is on
the ground in a heap now. But Cole still hits
him a few more times. Now, Cole picks him up
and lays him on the French announce table. He
gets on the apron and he is going to go for a
frog splash, and he hits it. He also hit one
of the french announcers. Now all three men
are down. But Cole is up again, and he's got
a peice of the table. He throws Hamilton in
and hits him in the back with the board a
couple of times. Now he is up to the top and
he is going to jump off and hit Hamilton with
the board. But, Hamilton gets up in time and
he dodges. Cole goes flying to the mat and he
loses his stick. Hamilton quickly retreives
the stick as the ref begins to count Cole.
1...2....3....4....5....6... Cole is up. But
he is right back down again with the stick.
Ref begins to count again.
1....2......3...4.....5..6....7....8....9.Col
e is up and he hits Hamilton with a low blow.
Now, he takes Hamliton and gives him a
powerbomb. Then he starts to kick on him. Now
picks him up again, and hits him with a
choke-slam. Now, starts to kick some more.
He gets back now and lets the ref count.
1....2....3.....4..Hamilton is already up and
him and Cole are trading blows. Hamilton
wins. Cole is out and Hamilton picks up the
stick he starts to hit Cole with it. Now he
picks Cole up and sends him to the corner.
Now Hamliton right in after him. And he's got
the stick. He's hammering away with the stick
now. Cole is all bloodied. Now, Hamilton
grabs him and kicks him to the stomach. Now
he hits him with the absolute zero. But he
picks him up and he does it again!! Cole i s
out!! The ref counts! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8,
9, 10!!! Hamilton wins!!
#9 eWo: Jakal .v. Psycho .v. Jon Stewart .v.
Garret Bannon
(American Championship/4 Corners Match)
JH: Okay, everyone is here EXCEPT Psycho! I
have no idea where Psycho is at! Well here we
go! Bannon and Stewart are going to start it
off here. DING DING DING. There's the bell
and we're underway. Bannon runs at Stewart
but Stewart moves, and he lets Bannon run
right on past. Now Stewart advances on Bannon
and takles him to the mat. Now, they're
exchanging blows on the mat. Bannon hits
Stewart, Stewart hits back. Now, Stewart is
taking the advantage. He's beating down on
Bannon. Stewart up now, and kicking Bannon.
Bannon has curled up into a little ball. Now
Stewart picks him up and DDT's him right into
the mat. Now, Stewart tags in Jakal. Jakal
about to go to work on Bannon, but Bannon
hits him in the stomach with a gut punch. Now
Bannon piledrives him into the mat. Bannon up
now and he starts to kick at Jakal. Now he
picks him up and he sends him into the ropes.
But, Jakal holds on and he jumps over to the
corner and tags Stewart back in. But, Bannon
goes to the same corner and tags in Jakal
back in! So now it's Jakal and Stewart. They
are fighting it out now in the middle of the
ring. Jakal is hammering and taking the
advantage. Now, Jakal bodyslams Stewart to
the mat. Jakal picks him up now, and fallaway
slam. Now, up again, and a inversed
neckbreaker. Jakal now up to the top and hits
him with a flying body press. Stewart is down
and out in the center of the ring. Now Jakal
picks up Stewart and he looks to be going for
the old glory. HE HITS IT. Stewart is out.
Jakal goes for the pin 1....2.... NO. Bannon
came in and made the save. Bannon nows fights
with Stewart! But, now Jakal tries to
clothesline both men, but Stewart ducks and
Jakal only knocks Bannon to the outside! Now
Jakal turns around. But look, Stewart is up.
He kicks Jakal to the stomach, and he hits
the demolisher. Goes for the pin.
1......2..... Wait the ref has been pulled
out by Bannon! Stewart is mad! He is up now,
and he is at the ropes. The ref is lecturing
Bannon. But look Stewart flys over the top
rope and hits Bannon. Now Jakal is getting up
and Bannon and Stewart are both getting up.
Bannon rolls back inside and then Stewart
rolls back inside. The ref is distracted by
fan tossing something into the ring! Wait Low
Blow by Jakal on Bannon. Wait Low Blow by
Stewart on Bannon!! The ref saw neither low
blow! Bannon is hurt! Wait Jakal and Stewart
pick up Bannon and throw him outside! Kick by
Jakal! Old Glory by Jakal on Stewart!! 1, 2,
3! No!! Bannon pulls Syxx off of Stewart
before the ref counts 3!! Jakal turns around
and looks at Bannon! Wait from behind Stewart
rolls up Jakal!! 1, 2, 3!! Stewart wins!!
Stewart is the NEW American Champion!! Wait
here comes a masked man with a 7SOA shirt
on! He grabs a mic and says: "Well, Stewart
you haven't won the match. You haven't beat
Psycho. You haven't beat me!" Then the mask
man takes off his mask and its Psycho!! Then
the other 3 members of 7SOA swoop to the ring
and attack Stewart and leave him in the ring
bleeding!!!
#10 Razor Ramon .v. 7SOA: Jeffrey D. Major
(Intercontinental Championship/Crutch Match)
JH: The Theme to
Terminator begins to play as Jeffrey D.
Major makes his way to the ring. Then Razor Ramon's Theme begins to play and
fireworks shoot off as Razor Ramon comes out!
JH: A crutch is hung on a pole! Here we go!
They lock up. Kick by Major. Major nails
Ramon with a clothesline. Atomic Drop by
Major. Drop Kick by Major. Backbreaker by
Major. Major goes for a elbow drop, but Ramon
moves. Drop Toe Hold by Ramon. Bulldog by
Ramon. Backbreaker by Ramon. Choke Slam by
Ramon. DDT by Ramon. German Suplex by Ramon.
Ramon puts Major on top backwards. Ramon
climbs up. Major backelbows him though and
Ramon falls to the mat! Flying Elbow Drop by
Major. Cover by Major. 1, 2, kickout! Running
Powerbomb by Major. Spinning Heel Kick by
Major. Major applies a Boston Crab to Ramon,
but Ramon grabs the ropes. Major clips the
leg of Ramon. Major works Ramon's leg with
leg snaps and a grapevine. Major throws Ramon
outside. Major picks up a chair and swings it
at Ramon, but Ramon ducks. Atomic Drop by
Ramon. Ramon clotheslines the chair into
Major! Ramon rolls Major back inside. Back
Suplex by Ramon. DDT by Ramon. Fallaway Slam
by Ramon. Ramon climbs the pole and grabs the
crutch! Ramon jumps down and nails Major with
the crutch! Ramon sets up Major for the
Razor's Edge. Wait Ramon left the crutch too
close and Major picks it up and low blows
Ramon with the crutch! Major hits Ramon with
the crutch! Choke Slam by Major! Wait the
lights go out! Then several loud wolf howls
are being heard over the PA! Then with an
explosion of fireworks the lights come back
on and 3 men descend from the ceiling! Wait
it Jon Stewart, Jason Hamilton, and Crow!!
They each have a crutch in their hands!! They
drop down and begin to beat on Major with the
crutches!! Major is out!! Ramon covers Major,
since this is NO DQ!! 1, 2, 3!! Ramon wins!!
Wait the lights go out! When they come back
on, Crow, Stewart, and Hamilton are out and
Bromell, Shocker, and Psycho are standing in
the ring with chairs! Bromell helps Major up
and they drag Ramon to the back!! Well lets
continue now!
#11 7SOA: Maurice Bromell v. eWo: Soldier
Syxx
(World Championship)
JH: They lock up. Headlock and a Shoulder
Block by Bromell. Atomic Drop by Bromell.
Irish Whip by Bromell. Bromell runs into the
corner and hits a Splash on Syxx. Reverse
Neckbreaker by Bromell. Bromell covers Syxx.
1, 2, kickout! Bromell picks Syxx up for a
Torture Rack, but Syxx pushes off a
turnbuckle and turns it into a Bulldog. Leg
Drop by Syxx. Syxx climbs up to the second
rope. Double Axehandle by Syxx. Slam by Syxx.
Elbow Drop by Syxx. Syxx goes up top. Suicide
Dive by Syxx. Cover by Syxx. 1, 2, kickout!
Syxx grabs Bromell into a headlock. Bromell
pushes Syxx into the ropes. Syxx runs off the
ropes and hits Body Press on Bromell. 1, 2,
kickout! Spinning Heel Kick by Syxx.
Facebuster by Syxx. Syxx climbs up top. Frog
Splash by Syxx. Cover by Syxx! 1, 2, KICKOUT!
Syxx goes for a Hurricanrana, but Bromell
turns it into a Powerbomb! Both men are down!
1, 2, 3, 4, Bromell is up. Piledriver by
Bromell. DDT by Bromell. Choke Slam by
Bromell. Bromell puts Syxx on the top rope.
Bromell climbs up top. Syxx pounds on
Bromell. Wait Top Rope Frankensteiner by
Syxx! Cover by Syxx! 1, 2, KICKOUT! Syxx gets
up and waits for Bromell to get up. Bromell
is up. Wait here comes Mikey Shipwreck, but
Squash Dawg and Syxx Pac come down to stop
him!! Syxx goes for a Syxx Kick, but Bromell
ducks! Clothesline by Bromell. Bromell pounds
on Syxx. Tombstone by Bromell. Bromell puts
Syxx on the top rope. Bromell climbs up top.
Bromell picks up Syxx for the Hellhound, but
Syxx rakes the eyes of Bromell! Syxx pounds
on Bromell. Syxx grabs Bromell. Superplex by
Syxx! Syxx covers Bromell! 1, 2, KICKOUT!
Syxx signals to the crowd and climbs up top
backwards. He waits for Bromell to get up.
Syxx goes for a Moonsault, but Bromell
catches him in mid-air and Bromell drives
Syxx to the mat with a Spike Tombstone
Piledriver!! 1, 2, 3!! Bromell wins!! What a
move and what a match!! Syxx almost had the
title! Wait a minute! What is this the
MasterTron has a picure of The Esquire on
it!! And LOOK, LOOK. My god he is in a field,
and look behind him, it's Razor! And he has
been crucified!! My god. This is sick. My
god. Major should be fired. Wait, it looks
like Major is going to talk now.
Esquire- Ramon, you deserve this. You got
what was comming to you. You messed with 7SOA
and now you are paying the price. But, it's
not over yet. Oh no. Not by a long shot. You
have much more torment to go through, and
Stewart. Your next.
JH: OH GOD NO. Major is picking up a
sledgehammer. NO NO NO. He is going
to break Ramons legs with it. NO, I cant
watch. My god, he's pulling back.
Esquire- This ones for my good buddy Bromell.
JH: No, he's going to do it. But wait. LOOK,
it's Messiah. He's there.
And, he's taken the hammer from Major. Now
Messiah... MY GOD. He just smacked Major with
the hammer!! Major is down!! Major is on the
ground out! Now, Messiah trying to get Razors
motionless body down. And, look. Major is
crawling away. OH MY. What a show of total
violence. Major is truly a sick and disturbed
man!! We are out of time!! I will see you
Sunday for another wild night of action!!!
