Sunday Night Fury (9/19/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "FURY" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of fans are standing and
screaming. The cameras now go to the announce
desk where Jumbo Hastings is sitting.]
JH: Welcome everyone to Sunday Night Fury!!
We are live from Roberts Stadium in Evansville, IN!! Tonight we have 8 matches for you including 1 Title Match and a Handicap Match between the World Champion,
Johnny Kool, vs. the Tag Team Champions,
Shocker and Crow!! Lets go to the action!
#1 Psycho vs. Iceman Jason McGrew
(Hardcore Championship/Hell in a Cell Match)
JH: Iceman Jason McGrew comes out first to
the boos from the crowd. But instead of
entering the cell, he climbs up on top of it
and waits for Psycho. "Psycho Circus" then
plays as Psycho comes out with Iceman's wife, Angela by his side to the cheers from the
crowd. Psycho decides to climb up on top of
cell and join Iceman. Here we go! Both men
fighting on top of the cell! These men are
crazy. Wait a low kick by Psycho. Psycho with a big right hand to Iceman and OH MY GOD!
Iceman fell off the cell and he landed
through a table 15 feet below!! MY GOD!!
Psycho looks upset! I don't think he meant to do that! The bell rings and the ref is
stopping this match. He calls for paramedics. This does not look good for Iceman. They are
putting a neck brace on him. They are taken
him away in a stretcher. Psycho looks upset.
He hates Iceman for what Iceman did to
Iceman's wife, but he did not mean to hurt
Iceman this badly! Folks Iceman has gone to
the hospital! This match is a No Contest and
we will be right back!

#2 Slacker vs. Randy Ramus
(First Slacker makes his way out then Ramus)
JH: Both men set a hot pace exchanging several holds, arm bar by Ramus countered into a droptoe hold by Slacker. Slacker rubs Ramus' face into the mat. Ramus of the ropes shoulder tackle, goes fo an elbow but Slacker out of the way. Slam by Slacker, sends Ramus into the ropes big spinebuster. Slacker locks on a leg grapevine, Ramus is in pain but manages to reach the ropes. Slacker sends Ramus into the turnbuckle, chops in the corner by Slacker. Slacker sends Ramus into the ropes, drops his head and Ramus kicks him in the face. Vertical suplex by Ramus, floatover's into a cover 1,2..kickout. Side Suplex by Ramus, Slam followed by an elbow drop. DDT by Ramus 1,2..kickout again Ramus is frustrated and goes to a blatant choke hold. Ramus is repremanded by the ref, Slacker by on his feet small package out of nowhere 1,2...oh so close. Ramus attacks again with fierce right hands, sets Slacker up for a superplex but Slacker fights him off. Double axe handle by Slacker from the top rope. Slacker now getting a second wind, clothesline by Slacker another one, off the ropes, catches Ramus underneath the chin with a a flying elbow. High impact moves by Slacker, Backbreaker, atomic drop Ramus over the top rope and to the outside. A suplex by Slacker brings him right back in, but Ramus grabs the ropes and falls right on Slacker. 1,2,3..no,no foot on the rope from Slacker. Both men are extremely tired. Ramus argues with the ref from behind Slacker rolls him 1,2,3! Slacker wins!! A back and forth match fiercely contested. We will be back after this!

#3 Eric Storm vs. The Night Warrior
JB: Now making his way to the ring Night Warrior!
(Night Warriors theme hits the arena and he walks out to a mixed pop.)
JB: And his opponent, Eric Storm!
(Eric Storm struts out to the ring to an evenly matched mixed reaction.)
JH: The bell rings and Night Warrior has attacked Storm with a vicious series of punches. But Storm turns it around and starts pounding on Warrior.
(The ref pulls Storm away and Warrior kicks him in the stomach and follows it up with an scissor kick to the back of the neck. Warrior climbs the top rope and attempts a moonsault, but Storm puts his knees up and Warrior rolls to the outside clutching his stomach.)
JH: What a move there to block the moonsault. Oh my god! Storm just dove outside onto Warrior. There back in the ring now, Irish whip by Storm. Oh Storm hits the big
boot to the face.
(Storm climbs to the top rope, but Warrior gets up and crotches him.)
JH: They're both up top now! Warrior hits a hurrucanrana off the top rope.
(Warrior grabs Storms legs and flips through.)
JH: 1...2...No! Storm shifts his weight and pins Warriors shoulders down to the mat. 1...2...No! warrior kicks out.
(Warrior hits his feet first and springboards off the second rope and cross bodies Storm.1...2...Storm Kicks out. Warrior whips Storm into the turnbuckle.)
JH: Warrior charging in now. Storm grabs him and throws him on the top rope! Warrior keeps his ballance, Storm steps away from the corner and turns around, NIGHT STRIKE! HE HIT THE NIGHT STRIKE! 1...2...3! Warrior is your winner! And Storm isn't getting up. We'll get Storm out of the ring as we take this commercial break.

#4 Gang Starr vs. V-Tor
JH: Gang Starr is out first for this match
between 2 newcomers. And now wait for V-Tor.
His music plays, but no V-Tor. Where is he?
Well the ref starts laying a 10 count to him! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! That is it!
Gang Starr wins by forfeit! Wait here comes
V-Tor with his bags in hand! His plane must
have been late! He drops his bags and runs
into the ring! He punches it out with Gang
Starr! Here comes some officials to break
this up! V-Tor gets the loss this time, but I am sure he would want a rematch in the
future! We will be back!

#5 Brian Williams vs. The Universal Soldier
(No DQ Match)
(Hardcore Brian Williams comes to the ring, followed by Universal Soldier)
JH: Remember folks this is no DQ that means anything goes. Williams meets Soldier halfway up the aisle both men exchange right hands. Williams rams Soldier into the guard rail, again, and again. Williams drags Soldier towards the ring and whips him into the steel steps. Williams picks Soldier tries to ram him into the post but Soldier counters and Williams goes head first into the ring post. Soldier drags Williams to the announce table and rams his head numerous times into the table, Soldier grabs the bell, but Williams kicks is right back in his face. Soldier rolled into the ring. The bell rings this match is now officially under way. Samoan drop by Williams, follwed by a backbreaker. Soldier comes back with right hands, knee lift by Soldier and a reverse DDT. Soldier covers 1,2..kickout. Williams into the ropes ,Soldier drops down and Williams runs right into the referee. Soldier hits the Atom Bomb! Covers 1,2,3 there's no referee. Soldier had this match won. Soldier tries to revive the ref and here he comes now 1...2...kickout. Williams kicked out. Soldier is furious, he throws the referee over the top rope. Williams back on his feet, kick to the gut of Soldier and again and again. Inverted atomic drop by Williams, belly to belly suplex and then a big time piledriver, Williams well in control. Soldier into the ropes flying clothesline by Williams. Williams goes for a German suplex but Soldier with a single leg pickup, Soldier locks on a figure 4 leg lock Williams is tapping out but again no referee. Wait Williams is turning it over now the pressure is on Soldier, here comes another referee. The hold is broken. Williams whipped into the corner, Soldier tries and monkey flip but Williams holds on, Soldier might have knocked himself out. Williams puts Soldier up top and hits the Hardkore Bomb from the top!! 1,2,3! Williams wins!! A hard fought brutal matchup. We will be back!

#6 Pinhead vs. Brommel Jr.
(Non-Title Match)
JH: Both men are in the ring and here we go! They lock up. Headlock into a Shoulder Block by Pinhead. Rolling Neck Snap by Pinhead. Pinhead picks him up slings him into the rope s and slinging Neckbreaker. T-Bone Suplex by Pinhead. Pinhead slaps him in the Camel Clutch. Brommel is fighting it. He grabs the ropes though! Pinhead gets up and Stomps him down. Pinhead grabs Brommel Jr. and puts him on top. Brommel fights back. Brommel pushes Pinhead to the mat! Brommel Jr. stands up and nails a Missile Drop Kick on Pinhead. Brommel slings Pinhead into the ropes Tornado DDT by Brommel. Northern Lights Suplex by Brommel. Pinhead clips the leg of Brommel. Pinhead slaps him in the Figure-Four. Wait Brommel gets leverage and reverses it! Pinhead lets go. Pinhead stomps on the leg of Brommel. Grapevine by Brommel. Pinhead applies a Sharpeshooter. Wait Brommel reverses it into his own Sharpeshooter. Pinhead grabs the ropes! Pinhead gets up and DDTs Brommel to the mat. Pinhead goes for the pin 1.. 2.. KICKOUT by Brommel. Pinhead picks him up again Side Walk Slam. Rolling Splash by Pinhead. he gets back up and slings at the ropes Leg Drop by Pinhead. Pinhead goes up top. He goes for a Moonsault, but Brommel moves. Brommel Jr. get up and Slams Pinhead and follows up with an Elbow Drop. Suplex by Brommel. He picks him back up and nails him with a Spine Buster. Brommel Jr. picks him up and attemps a Powerbomb but Pinheads feet latch on the ropes. Pinhead grabs Brommels head and nails him with a Neck breaker. Daredevil is walking to the ring side area. Pinhead is going up top and is looking to nail the Pin Drop and NAILS IT. He goes for the cover 1.. 2.. Wait Dardevil puts Brommel Jr.s foot on the rope. The ref sees the foot he breaks the count. Pinhead is ticked he trys to go after the ref but Daredevil is on the appron. Pinhead knocks him off, WAIT Brommel rolls him up 1.. 2.. 3.. Brommel Wins!! What an upset! Pinhead is mad! He aruging with the ref! Daredevil heads to the back, but from out of nowhere, Joe Jackson nails him with a clothesline! Jackson then leaves. Pinhad grabs his IC Title, since it was a Non-Title Match, and runs down the aisle and just nails Daredevil with it as he tries to get up! Pinhead then pounds away at Daredevil until officials pull him off! We will be back!

#7 Joe Jackson vs. Da Man
JH: Jackson is out first with the Mean Street Posse by his side. And now Da Man's music
plays, but no Da Man. Don't tell me we have
another no show. Well we did hear Da Man say
he was tired of all the WFW's crap! So it
looks like Da Man has quit! The ref has gave
him a 10 count and he is not here! So Jackson wins by forfeit!! I guess we will never see
Da Man again in a WFW ring. Jackson is just about to leave, but Daredevil comes from the crowd and attacks Jackson! Wait here comes Pinhead! He chases Daredevil away and helps up Jackson. Jackson sticks out his hand and Pinhead shakes it! That is shocking! These two men were enemies not too long ago and now they seem to form some sort of alliance against Daredevil! We will be back after this with our Main Event!
[Commercial...]
("Ice Ice Baby" blasts out over the PA and the crowd burst into life. Johnny Kool comes out onto the entrance ramp, he looks very intense and doesn't acknowledge the crowd at all. He wears long dark blue tights, the light blue and white flashes down the sides. On the back reads "Ice" with "JK" and "Johnny Kool" written on each leg. His long blond hair is tied back with shades pushed up onto the top of his head, he wears the WFW title around his waist. He steps into the ring and asks for the mic.)
JK:-"Each and every one of you lucky people are just mere moments away from being entertained by the most charismatic, flamboyant and quite simply best sports entertainer in the World today. When JK is in the house not one fan is out filling their face at the hot dog stand, not one fan goes to take a p**s, you are standing listening intently hanging on every word JK speaks with his melodious tones. Tonight you people are in for a treat, tonight you get double your money's worth as tonight JK ain't just gonna kick the Crow's ass, no no, he's bringing his boyfriend with him, well Crow, Shockman get your asses down here right now because the Dude of Kool's wrestling school is now in session."
{Suddenly Psycho's music hit's.......The lights go out for a few seconds and when they return on Psycho is standing in the center of the ring with his arms spread so that he looks like a human cross, he carries the Hardcore title in one hand and his Singapore cane in the other. He's dressed in holey jean cut-offs, a Budweiser shirt, combat boots, and his EA leather jacket. He puts his arms down and drops the cane, he grabs a mic and hops up on the second rope towards the crowd. He points his finger back at Kool and begins to speak.}
Psycho:-"Shut the hell up, I've got somethings I would like to address!"
{The crowd pops, Psycho turns around and begins to walk around the ring as he talks.}
Psycho:-"First off, Kool who in the hell do you think you are? You seem to think that because you wear flashy clothes and talk like a snub that your cool. Well I dress like white trash and the fans go crazy when they here Psycho Circus hit the PA."
{The fans pop}
Psycho:-"Let's just get one thing straight, we're from different sides of the tracks, but we have one common goal and that's is to terminate those two b****es, Shocker and Crow. I can't let you go in to this alone not that I wouldn't like to see the mat covered in your blood, but I want the first piece of Crow, so I'm going to be your damn partner, like it or not, that's the way it is!"
{Crow's music startsand cuts off right away.}
Psycho: "Not yet! Crow it's obvious that you can't beat me without your bitch, but with this bumb@$$ right here watching my back your going to have to form an ARMY!!!"
(Kool who had his back turned to Psycho throughout the whole time turns and stares intensly at him. He slowly moves the mic towards his mouth to reply.)
JK:-"First off Insane Man you got alot of gaul coming out here during JK's time, interupting my interview, my match. The Dude of Kool has many a score to settle with Crow and Shocker and after the last couple of weeks I guess you do to. But listen to me you piece of white trash (He walks across the ring to be nose to nose with Psycho) don't forget who it was who won that piece of tin you carry over your shoulder for you and don't forget who saved your ass this past Thursday, if it weren't for me Crazy Man you wouldn't be walking today. So you have alot more respect in your voice when you address the World champion. Having said all that JK has reached a decision, listening to the response you got from these great people here they must trust you, I don't, but i'm still gonna allow you to be in my corner."
JK:-"But this is how it is gonna go. You will stand in the corner of the World champion as he displays his wrestling talent to the World. You will watch on in awe, jaw hanging as I take care of not one but two opponants all by myself and when I have both men beat then and only then will I allow you to get you some. But I hear people ask, well what if Psycho loses the advantage and gets in trouble? Well Crazy Man all you gotta do is crawl with every ounce of strength you got left, reach out a hand and I promise i'll be there for the tag to save your ass not once, not twice but for the third time in a week. And everyone in this arena and all over the World will be left in no doubt as to who is the greatest wrestling talent in the World. Let's get it on!!!."
(The crowd erupts once more as JK finishes, they are jacked for the matchup.)
JH: Well we now have a Tag Team Main Event! Psycho, Kool, Shocker, and Crow NEXT! Stay Tuned!

#8 Johnny Kool and Psycho vs. Crow and The
Shocker
JH: Kool and Psycho are still in the ring and here comes Crow and Shocker out to the boos of the crowd! Here we go! All 4 men starts punching it out as the bell rings! Kool and Psycho get the upper hand and Crow and Shocker take a power outside to regroup. Shocker jumps back inside and it looks he will start with Kool. Clothesline by Kool to start. Back Suplex by Kool. Elbow Drop by Kool. Kool picks up Shocker and hits a Bulldog. Crow rushes in to stop Kool's offense, but Kool hits a Drop Toe Hold on him and out of nowhere Psycho springs off the ropes and lands on Crow with a Leg Drop! Kool and Psycho then hit a Double Clothesline on Shocker! Cover by Kool! 1, 2, Kool pulls up Shocker and tags in Psycho. Wait Crow lowblows Psycho. The ref puts Crow back to his corner and Shocker recovers and tags him in. Crow hits a Clothesline on Psycho. Russian Leg Drop by Crow. Neckbreaker by Crow. Powerslam by Crow. Kool tries to come in and help Psycho, but the ref stops him allowing Shocker and Crow to doubleteam Psycho. Shocker is now in and he hits a DDT on Psycho. Pedigree by Shocker. Shocker now goes for the Electric Chair, but Psycho reverses it into a Hurricanrana! Psycho now trying to make a tag, but Crow runs in and the ref stops him. Psycho makes the tag, but the ref does not see it. Kool hits a Fallaway Slam on Shocker and then he hits the Ice Breaker!! But the ref forces him back to his corner because he did not see the tag. Psycho is up top and out of nowhere he nails Shocker with a 450 Splash! Crow is now in and he has a chair! The ref is still putting Kool back to his corner. Crow goes to hit Psycho with the chair, but Psycho blocks it and grabs the chair. Psycho then nails Crow with the chair, but the ref has turned around and saw this so he rings the bell! The ref is disqualifying Psycho and Kool for the use of the chair! Crow and Shocker win by DQ! Kool and Psycho are pissed! Crow brought the chair in the ring, but the ref saw Psycho use it! That is not right! Shocker and Crow walk back to the locker rooms to the boos of the crowd! Wait Kool has the ref! He nails the ref! Psycho picks up the ref and hits the Kiss of Death on him!! The crowd is going crazy with cheers! Kool now hits the Ice Breaker on the ref!! Here comes Billy X with a chair to celebrate with Kool. X has a lot of respect for Kool. Wait X just nailed Kool with the chair from behind! Psycho chases him off! Psycho checks on Kool. What was X thinking! Wait he catches up with Shocker and Crow backstage and they shake hands! So X was sent out there to attack Kool! Unbelievable! Folks we are out of time! I will see you Thursday! Goodnight!
