Sunday Night Fury (9/5/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "FURY" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and
brings us to the announcers table at ringside where Jumbo Hastings is standing.]
JH: Welcome everyone to Sunday Night Fury!! We are live from the Providence Civic Center in Providence, RI!!! We are just a few minutes away from the Pay-Per-View known as Lord of the Squared Circle! But before the PPV, right here we will have recaps of all the events that have led up to tonight's Lord of Squared Circle PPV, and we will also have 1 extra match too! But right now lets go some highlights from the Lord of the Squared Circle Tourny!
[Clips are shown of the Lord of the Squared Circle Tourny and how Jakal, Da Man, and Berringer made it to the final round of that tourny tonight on PPV. Then the cameras go back to the ring Ring Master is already in the ring for his match.]
#1 Death Warrior vs. Ringmaster
(Death Row Match)
(Then Devil Without a Cause starts over the PA system.)
JB: Now coming to the ring from Buffalo, NY weighing in tonight at 255 lbs the "INNOVATOR of HARDCORE" Death Warrior!!
(A man in black pants and a INNOVATOR of HARDCORE t-shirt on comes out of the curtain with Katie Swallows on his arm. She lets go as he walks back into the curtain. Katie walks down to the ring. Death Warrior comes back out with a dumpster full of weapons and a green bag. The dumpster rolls down the rampway and hits the side of the ring. Death Warrior then opens up a walk in door to the dumpster.)
JH: Death Warrior gets in the ring. Death Warrior dumps the bag and thumbtacks fall out all over the ring. Death Warrior then attacks Ring Master from behind. Ring Master fights back with an arsenal of punches. Ring Master lands a DDT. Death Warrior slowly gets up and low blows Ring Master. Death Warrior then throws Ring Master outside of the ring. Death Warrior steps into the dumpster. Death Warrior pulls out a hockey stick and cracks it over Ring Masters back. Death Warrior starts to emoty out the dumpster into the ring.
(A chair, baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, a ladder, a set of golf clubs, a bowling ball, a roll of barbed wire, a pool cue, a singapore cane, lighter fluid, a stop sign, godzilla doll, a nintendo system, and a computer printer are all in the dumpster.)
JH: Death Warrior rolls Ring Master into the ring. Ring Master hits DW with a stop sign.
DW falls onto the barbed wire. DW lets out a shreak of enjoymeny. DW stands up looks RM in the eyes as he is bleeding from the head. DW wraps barbed wire around his own head. RM suplexes DW onto the thumbtacks.
RM goes for the pin.
Ref: One, tw.............. kickout.
JH: DW hits RM with the pool cue.
DW: " That's for you Buck."
JH: DW rolls RM outside of the ring. DW turns around and sets up a table between the guard rail and ring. RM is up behind DW with a chair waiting for him to turn around. Katie low blows RM from behind. DW picks RM up and puts him on the table. DW grabs some thumbtacks and dumps on RM's stomach. DW sets a chair up in the ring. DW hits a Air Sabu onto RM through the table. RM feels his stomach and feels blood. DW throws Rm over the guard rail into the crowd. They both fight there way up the stairs into the hallway of the arena. RM whips DW into the hot dog stand. RM hits DW over the head with a pot of boiling water. RM lifts DW up and slaps him in the face. DW lifts up the grill grate by the end and hits Rm ove the head with the hot part. RM falls to the ground bleeding from the head. DW grabs RM by the hair and drags him down the hallway to a merchandise stand. DW body slams Rm through the glass counter. DW goes for the cover.
Ref: One, two, thr.......... kickout.
JH: DW lifts RM up and whips him towards the wall. RM reverses it and whips DW into the wall. DW wobbles back towards RM. RM hits DW with a piece of glass over the head cutting him open more along with the barbed wire.
RM and DW start to battle back towards the ring. DW just through RM down a flight of stairs. DW follows him down the easy way.
DW tells the crowd to move leaving a bunch of empty chairs. RM whips Dw onto the empty chairs before DW can. RM flips DW over the guard rail and hits a splash from the guard rail onto him. RM rolls Dw into the ring.
Katie starts to flirt with RM. RM goes towards Katie. RM grabs Katie and pulls her close to himself. Katie starts to rub up against RM. DW walks behind RM and smashes him in the back of the head with a barbed wire bat. DW rolls RM into the ring. DW puts a bunch of thumbtacks into a pile. DW crotches RM on the top rope. DW hits the Death Wish off the top rope onto the pile of thumbtacks. RM as been knocked unconsious.
DW covers him.
Ref: one, two, three!!
JH: Death Warrior wins!!! DW now stands up with Katie in the ring. DW is covered in blood. DW starts to yell at the crowd. Folks lets go to this!
[Clips are shown of Johnny Kool attacking Crow, Iceman Jason McGrew, Shocker, and Sniper during their tag match in the LOTSC tourny. Then we see Kool help Crow win by putting him on top. Then we see Shocker costing Crow a win during a LOTSC tourny match. And Kool getting some of Shocker. All of this leads to the Main Event Tag Team match between Kool and Crow vs. Shocker and a mystery partner tonight on PPV!]
JH: Well that should be a great match tonight. But we also...
[Suddenly Iceman Jason McGrew comes out and grabs a mic from the announcer...]
IJM: Alright I need to say this. I want my wife Angela to come out here now.
[Angela walks out from the back and steps inside the ring...]
IJM: Angela, we have had our problems in the past, but tonight lets put that all behind us and lets start over. How about it?
A: Yes I agree. Lets start over. I am sorry.
[Angela and Jason now embrace. But then out of nowhere Jason kicks Angela and hits the Ice Cold Stunner on her! The crowd is shocked! But from the back, Psycho runs to the ring and chases Iceman away! Psycho then helps up Angela and they go to the back together.]
JH: Fans I can not believe what we just saw! Iceman Jason McGrew has lost his damn mind! He attacks a woman! His own wife for god's sake! Thank god for Psycho! Psycho did the right thing by coming in and chasing Iceman away. That was awful! Folks we are out of time! The PPV is just seconds away! I hope to see you then! Goodnight!!
