Sunday Night Fury (5/30/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "FURY" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and
brings us to the announcers table at ringside where Jumbo Hastings is standing.]
JH: Welcome everyone to Sunday Night Fury!!
We are live from the Centroplex in Baton Rouge, LA!!! Tonight we have 6 matches for you!! Including the Main Event being an Enclosed Lion's Den/World Title Match between Soldier Syxx and Razor Ramon!! Also 4 more titles will be on the line!! Lets go to the action!!
#1 Da Killaman .v. Brujah
(No DQ Match)
JH: Both men are in the ring and here we go! Drop Kick by Brujah. Dragon Suplex by Brujah. Reverse DDT by Brujah. Brujah goes up top. Suicide Dive by Brujah. Brujah runs towards the ropes and hits an Asai Moonsault! Brujah now grabs a chair from the outside. Brujah swings it at Killaman, but he ducks! Kick and a DDT by Killaman. Killaman nails Brujah with the chair! Double-Arm DDT on the chair by Killaman. Kicks by Killaman. Suplex by Killaman. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Killaman. Killaman goes outside and grabs two tables from under the ring. He sides both in. He sets up on and then put the other on top. Lowblow by Brujah! Wait Brujah goes for the , but Killaman pushes him off right into the top rope! Piledriver by Killaman. Killaman then puts Brujah on the top rope. Killaman climbs up. The Killabomb through both tables by Killaman!! 1, 2, 3!! Killaman wins!!! Back after this!

#2 Da Man .v. X-Paq: Sniper
(Lightweight Championship)
JH: The bell rings and here we go! Wait Myth, Da Man's manager, gets up on the apron and trash talks Sniper. Wait from behind, Reverse DDT by Da Man. Leg Lock Choke Hold by Da Man. Suplex by Da Man. Da Man goes for a Powerbomb, but Sniper turns it into a Hurricanrana! Spinebuster by Sniper. Stun Gun and a Spin Kick by Sniper! Inverted DDT by Sniper. DDT by Sniper. Float-Over DDT by Sniper. Sniper goes up top. He goes for a Senton Splash, but Da Man moves! Piledriver by Da Man. Da Man goes up top. Top Rope Clothesline by Da Man. Wait Snow Plow by Da Man! Wait the lights go off! When they come back on Myth is knocked out on the outside and Lightning Kid is standing over him! Da Man looks at Kid and lights go off again! Suddenly a lightning bolt strikes Da Man!! MY GOD!! The lights comes on and Kid is gone! Wait here comes Pinhead from the crowd with a chair. He gets on the apron, but the ref stops him! Wait here comes Joe Jackson and the Mean Street Posse with bats!! They nail Sniper with the bats!! Then they jump outside! The ref turns around and both men are down! You will get up first! The ref counts! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Wait Da Man rolls over and drapes an arm across Sniper! 1, 2, 3!! Da Man wins!!! Da Man wins this good match!! Lets go to a break!

#3 Syxx Pac and Beowulf .v. Crow and Psycho
(Tag Team Championship)
JH: Okay, here we go this if for the tag-titles. Psycho and Crow are in the ring and here comes Syxx Pac and Beowulf. Theres the bell and this match is underway Syxx Pac and Crow starting it off. But, LOOK from behind it's Beowulf with a tag-title and he hits SYXX PAC. What is this? Well Crow seems a little confused. But now Beowulf goes to the top rope and gives Syxx Pac the bicycle kick! Now, Crow is really confused! Wait here comes Myth from the entrance way! One masked bodyguard on one side of the ring stops him! Wait Da Man comes from the crowd! The other bodyguard on that side stops him! Wait here comes Jakal! Wait right behind him is Freak! They fight in the aisle! Crow makes a cover now! 1....2....3!!! Crow and Psycho are the NEW tag champions!! Now, Beowulf is in the ring with both titles. He gives them to a confused Crow and Psycho. Here comes some officials to clean up the fights outside! Okay, Beowulf is now rolling Syxx Pac out of the ring, now he grabs a mic and he begins to talk.
Beowulf: "Ladies and gentlemen I am proud to present to you..."
JH: Now, OH MY. He is ripping off his mask. Who is he.......... IT'S GARRET BANNON. OH MY. What a surprise. I dont beleive this. Now he has the mic again and he is talking.
Garret Bannon: "Psycho, a while ago, you spoke to me and asked me if I would be in a Triple Threat kinda thing. You said it would be me you and Razor and Razor never got back to us because he was to up with himself. So Psycho, how bout this. You, Me and Crow make and Triple Threat type thing?"
JH: Well, Psycho is pointing to the back now and he says.
Psycho: "Let's talk it over."
JH: Oh, my now they are all walking back together. What a night this has
already been. Garret Bannon has returned. We will be back!!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#4 Joe Jackson .v. X-Paq: Panther
(American Championship/Double Caged Hell Match)
Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall, and is a double caged hell match for the American Championship.
(Crowd goes crazy.)
Ring Announcer: And now comes out the 14 lumberjacks.
(Crowd gives a mixed reaction as Confucius, Lightning Kid, Pinhead, Beowulf, Daredevil, Iceman Jason McGrew, Brent Smith, Heavy Metal Kid, Trent Walker, Da Man, The Scribe, Crow, Soldier Syxx, and Freak all come out and enter the cage. Then Panther's Theme blasts up and the crowd gives a mixed reaction to him as he steps into the cage.)
Ring Announcer: Coming to the ring, weighing in at 197 lbs., THE PANTHER!
("Voodoo Child" by Jimi Hendrix plays as Joe Jackson comes out to a bunch of boos from the crowd.)
Ring Announcer: Coming to the ring, weighing in at 287 lbs, The AMERICAN CHAMPION, JOE JACKSON!
(Bell Rings and Joe and Panther immediately go at it.)
PS: I decided to come down here to join Jumbo for this match only, since it might be hard to call. The rules of this match are kind of complicated, but the point of the match is to get out of the steel cage, throw your opponent into the pit of wrestlers for twenty seconds to win, right?
JH: Right. Now Joe and Panther fighting. Panther runs him to the ropes and gives him a jumping clothesline. He sends him in again and gives him a superkick! Nice move. Panther springboards and hits a leg drop. Panther on the advantage with a headlock. Joe runs him to the ropes, shoulderblock. Joe to the ropes, Panther under. Joe goes for a clothesline, but ducked by Panther and a behind waistlock, reversal by Joe, Joe goes for a german suplex but Panther flips out, great agility. Panther hooks him and hits him with an Inverted DDT!
PS: Great move. Now Panther is trying to go to the top. But Joe is up and hits a German Suplex off the top rope! Ouch! Panther grabbing his head. Joe picks him up by the hair to send him down with a clothesline. He picks Panther up and runs him to the ropes. Big foot by Jackson! Jackson setting up for a piledriver, and he lands it! Now a Powerbomb, reversed into a hurricanranna by Panther! Great reversal. He runs Jackson to the ropes, kick to the gut, DDT! Panther sets up Jackson on the top, TOP-ROPE HURRICANRANNA! HE PINS! But that's not how you win. He realizes and starts to climb the cage.
JH: Joe is getting up. He quickly chases up the Panther. Both men hanging off. Panther falling. Joe hits him, but Panther fights back, BOTH MEN JUST FELL 15 FEET INTO THE RING! THEY ARE BOTH DOWN! Jackson gets up first. Now Panther, Jackson with a kick to the gut, he sets up, JACKSON JAM SLAM! Both me down, Joe has run out of stamina.
PS: Jackson up and climbing the cage. Panther no follows, amazing he has gotten up. Panther gets below Jackson, LOW BLOW! NOW DA BOMB OFF THE CAGE! OH MY GOD! BOTH MEN DOWN!
JH: Both men are starting to move now. Panther first and he goes to the door
and gets out of the cage. Jackson takes a while but he follows. Now both men in the outside of the cage. Now you have to push the other in the pit. Jackson strikes first, but Panther dodges and immediately throws him in the pit!
(All the wrestlers in the pit begin fighting Jackson. The crowd counts, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, he gets out.)
PS: Lucky him. Now they are still fighting. Panther kicks him in the face, now a sweep kick. He does a foward roll leg drop! Jackson is reeling. Panther sets up for Da Bomb into the pit! He's too big for him. BACK BODY DROP BY JACKSON! PANTHER IS IN THE PIT!
(Crowd counts, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, he gets out.)
JH: Just in time. Both men fighting still. Panther is on the recieving end of some hard punches. Jackson picks him up, and a DDT. Gorilla Press! He's gonna release him into the pit!
(Panther gets thrown in the pit and the crowd counts, 1, 2,. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, he gets out.)
PS: He's cutting it close. Jackson picks him up and a bodyslam! He is going for a short arm clothesline, Panther dodges, and he gives Jackson a BACK DROP DRIVER! BOTH MEN DOWN!
JH: Panther goes picks up Jackson. He goes for Da' Bomb, but Jackson backdrops Panther! Kick and a Jackson Jam Slam by Jackson!! Jackson throws Panther into the pit!
(The crowd counts while the wrestlers beat on Panther in the pit! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20!!)
PS: Jackson wins this match!! Panther could not get out of the pit after the Jackson Jam Slam! What a WILD Match! I have to leave now! Jumbo will be right back after this!

#5 Freak .v. Pinhead
(Intercontinental Championship/Double Cell/Weapons Match)
JH: Both men are inside the bottom cage filled with weapons. They have to climb up to the top cage and climb a ladder and grab the IC Title hung from the top cage to win this match! The bell and rings and here we go! Both men start off punching it out! Drop Kick by Pinhead. Pinhead nails Freak with a 2X4! Hurricanrana by Pinhead. Pinhead picks up a baseball bat. He swings it at Freak, but Freak uses a Drop Toe Hold on Pinhead! Freak then picks up the bat and nails Pinhead with it! Freak rams Pinhead into the cell! Big Chop by Freak. Headbang by Freak. Freak now climbs the cage. Pinhead is up. Pinhead starts climbing the cage. Freak is now throw the door and in the second cage. Wait Pinhead is right behind him! Freak has the ladder, but Pinhead is in the top cage. Lowblow by Pinhead! Pinhead picks up the folded ladder and drops it on Freak! Pinhead now has a trash can and nails Freak with it! DDT onto the trash can! Wait Pinhead sets up the ladder and starts to climb the ladder. He almost has the belt. Wait Freak starts to shake the ladder. Wait Pinhead looks down and he jumps from the ladder onto Freak with a BIG Splash! Wait Pinhead picks up Freak and puts him on a table in the corner. Pinhead now sets up the ladder near the table. Pinhead climbs the ladder. He gets near the top and goes for a Moonsault from the ladder onto Freak, but Freak moves and Pinhead goes through the table!! Freak crawls over to a stop sign. He gets up and picks up the stop sign. Pinhead starts to move, but Freak nails Pinhead with the stop sign!! German Suplex by Freak. Freak now climbs the cage and jumps off with a Suicide Dive on Pinhead! Freak now climbs the ladder. He slowly makes his way to the top. Pinhead starts to get up. Pinhead has now gotten up. Freak has the title in his hands. Wait Pinhead drop kicks the ladder and Freak gets thrown into the cage without the title! Pinhead now picks up Freak and drags him up the ladder with him. Pinhead sets up Freak for a Pin Drop from the ladder. Wait Freak flips up and goes for the Life to Death from the ladder, but Pinhead hangs onto the ladder and Freak falls from the ladder to the caged floor without Pinhead!! Freak is down! Wait Pihead climbs up more and grabs the belt!! Pinhead is the NEW IC Champion!! Some would call that an upset, while others would not! But what I know it was, it was a great match! We will be back with the Main Event!!

#6 Soldier Syxx .v. Razor Ramon
(World Championship/Enclosed Lion's Death Match)
JH: Both men are in this fenced-in octagon-shaped area with a top on it. To win you must make your opponent bleed and then he has to give up! Here we go! Ramon goes right after Syxx with punches! Backbreaker by Ramon. Elbow Drop by Ramon. Piledriver by Ramon. Choke Slam by Ramon. Ramon now pounds on the head of Syxx. Ramon rams Syxx into the cage! Back Suplex by Ramon. Ramon applies a Camel Clutch now to Syxx! Ramon then lets go after a few seconds. Backbreaker again by Ramon. Ramon starts to walk the cage and goes for a jumping elbow drop, but Syxx moves! Spinning Heel Kick by Syxx. Hurricanrana by Syxx. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Syxx. Syxx now stomps on Ramon. Leg Drop by Syxx. Spin Wheel Kick by Syxx. Syxx starts the walk the cage and jumps off with an elbow drop on Ramon. Remember this cage juts upward, so they can walk that cage. Syxx now has Ramon by the hair and he rams Ramon into the cage repeatly! Wait Ramon seems to bleeding now! Syxx backs off just a second. Suddenly Ramon gets up from the ground and nails Syxx with a clothesline that almost took Syxx's head off! He looks like Ramon has gone crazy at the sight of his own blood! Ramon grabs Syxx by the head and repeatly rams Syxx into the cage about 15 times!! Syxx is now busted open too! Ramon now gets on Syxx and pounds on Syxx with rights and lefts to the top of his head!! Syxx is bleedly alot now! But Ramon won't let up. Fallaway Slam by Ramon. Bulldog by Ramon. Ramon now picks up Syxx and hit the Razor's Edge!! Razor now applies a Camel Clutch on Syxx!! Syxx won't give up though! Syxx is fighting it off! Ramon releases the hold from frustration after a couple minutes in the hold!! Ramon picks up Syxx. Ramon goes for another Razor's Edge, but Syxx slides behind Ramon. Ramon pushes Syxx away. Ramon turns around and Syxx hits a Syxx Kick on Ramon!! Syxx now picks up Ramon for a Soldier Slam Driver, the setup move to the Rings of Soldier. Wait Ramon kicks off the fencing and swing over and nails Syxx with a HUGE DDT that almost sent Syxx's head through the bottom of the den!!! Syxx is out!! Wait Ramon locks on the "Oozing Machismo" Head Vice!!! Syxx is out! He is not giving up! He has to though! But he is not! The refs on the outside are watching closely! Syxx is unconscious!! Finally the ref decide to ring the bell!! Ramon wins!! Ramon is the NEW World Champion!!! But give it up to Soldier Syxx! He did not give up, but the ref had to stop the match, because Syxx could have suffered serious brain damage if the match continued!! Blood is everywhere! This was BRUTAL! Two great athletes fought it out here, but only one could win!! Ramon is the 3-Time WFW World Champion!! We are out of time! Here comes some help for Ramon! It looks like Ramon is helping Syxx too! I will see Thursday!!
