Sunday Night Fury (5/23/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "FURY" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and
brings us to the announcers table at ringside where Jumbo Hastings is standing.]
JH: Welcome everyone to Sunday Night Fury!!
We are live from the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, MO!!! Tonight we have 8 matches for you!! Including the Main Event being a Hell in a Cell/World Title Match between Soldier Syxx and Psycho!! Lets go to...Wait a minute!!!
(The X-PAQ theme blasts on the PA, as Sniper walks out with Beulah McGillicutty to a mixed reaction. Sniper poses on the ropes and "X's" shoot down from the rafters. Beulah habds him a mic.)
Sniper: It'd be easy for me to just come out here, and have one of these gimpy announcers conduct an interview with the greatness, and wound up me just kickin their ass for asking a dumb question. So I'll just do this myself. My first order of business is with the new Commissioner of the WFW, HBK! HBK, honestly I would expect nothing less from you than to chicken out of our match on Rage. I understand that you really suck, and felt as though you had suffered enough embarrassment from in-ring competition. But by you retiring on the night you were to have faced me, you give me the liberty to say that you retired because you were too much of a candy-ass and too scared to face me one on one like a man!!! I never liked you in the first place, HBK. And now you have gone and jumped into the corporate world of the WFW. In case you didn't know, I come from Philadelpia, Pennsylvania. The blue-color capitol of the world. I hate everything associated with the corporate lifestyle. I hate the ugly attire, the attitude you have to take on. I hate everything about it. So I hope you don't think that by retiring and becoming Commish., that it's going to keep me or any of the other X-PAQ members off your hide. You still aren't safe. As a matter of fact, NOBODY is safe. HBK, you are I are still going to have our date with destiny, and I promise you won't like it!!!
Next is directed to Prez. What in the hell were you thinking, Josh?! I mean for GOD's sake, HBK is a rookie. Not only a rookie, but a man who didn't win a single match while in active compitition! This was a big mistake if you ask me. He was the worst wrestler in the WFW, and now he's going to be the worst executive in this company!!!
Now on to everyone who felt the X-PAQ's wrath last Thursday. I hope no one was surprised by any of that. We told you well in advance that a lot of people were going to be hurt, and as always, we lived up to what we said. Although I wasn't in the arena, we still were a force. And I can promise that the carnage will not stop where we left off. We will continue our onslaught, and continue to smoke the compition in the WFW each an every week. We are the WFW Stable champions, and there ain't nobody that can stop us. That's not the right way, that's the wrong way, it's the X-PAQ way! And guess what -- THERE CAN'T BE ANY OTHER WAY!!!!!!!!
(The X-PAQ's theme plays again, and they leave to a mixed reaction.)

#1 Daredevil .v. Heavy Metal Kid
("I Quit" Match)
JH: Okay, Daredevil comes out to his music. Then Heavy Metal Kid comes out and this match is under way. Kid has chains with him and hits Daredevil with the chains. Now he proceeds to choke him, this is Daredevils match, he is fighting to hold on. Wait, Daredevil flips him off of him. Now Daredevil locks on a tequilla sunrise. Heavy Metal Kid doesn't give. He somehow gets out of the sunrise, then knocks down Daredevil. Now daredevil is in the boston crab. But Daredevil flips him over. Daredevil grabs the chains and starts choking HMK with them. HMK is holding on. He trys to get to the ropes, but Daredevil pulls back really hard. Wait, whats this. Heavy Metal Kid mumbled something. The ref goes to see what he said. Wait the ref rings the bell and grabs the mic.
Ref: Heavy Metal Kid declares that he quit!
JH: Wow folks, that was a quick matchup! Daredevil wins!! Wait here comes Pinhead! He gives Heavy Metal Kid the Pindrop! Lets go to a break!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
JH: We are back! Lets go to Kevin Ham in the ring!!
Kevin Ham: I'm here first and before the rumble begins I'm going to bring out a man that yes was here before it was no joke eat your heart out Razor, Mitch "Hitman" Vinson!!!!
Ham: Mitch man I have known ya for a long time and yes you was here before tell em!
Mitch: Razor I was here and I was your best friend! It's me the Bloodhound! When my contract was up I went and wreslted for the hardcore federation but then I was fired and got back into world fantasy wrestling with a makeover and with m true self!
Ham: WOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW that is some big new's! So are you starting the wolfpac again?
Vinson: Well I tried to but everybody obvisouly want's to go on there own so until they want it again I can't give it to em.
Ham: So what about your match tonight with LK?
Vinson: I'm not really worried about it I do have respect for the 1-2-3 kid but I'm going to have to teach him a lesson Hitman style!
Vinson: Ham get the hell out of here and Razor now what ya got to say chico!!!!
[Wait Ramon's music plays as Razor Ramon enters the ring. Ramon tells Vinson to tell everyone the truth. Vinson turns around. Wait he pulls out a pipe and turns around and nails Ramon with it! Vinson then grabs a mic.]
Vinson: You are right Ramon, I was The Untouchable!
[Vinson then leaves the ring.]

#2 Lord Infamous .v. Brent Smith
JH: Smith has came out. Now here comes Infamous with his manager, Tom Ski-Mask. Here we go! They lock up. Headlock by Smith. Infamous turns it into a Back Suplex. Suplex by Infamous. Kicks and punches by Infamous. Piledriver by Infamous. Infamous goes up top. He goes for a Shooting Star Press, but Smith moves! Clothesline by Smith. Big Suplex by Smith. Leg Drop by Smith. DDT by Smith. Choke Slam by Smith. Smith picks up Infamous. Smith goes for the Meadow's Drop, but Infamous pounds on the head of Smith! Infamous spins around and rolls up Smith in a Victory Roll! 1, 2, KICKOUT!! That was very close! Kick by Infamous. Another Kick and another kick by Infamous. Infamous sets up Smith. Infamous Syndicate by Infamous!! 1, 2, 3!! Infamous wins!!! We will be back!!

#3 WC: Lightning Kid .v. Mitch Vinson
(Scaffold Match)
JH: Both men are up on the scaffolds and here we go! Drop Kick by Kid. Leg Drop by Kid. Bulldog by Kid. Kid goes for a German Suplex, but Vinson back elbows him. Clothesline by Vinson. Elbow Drop to the leg of Kid by Vinson. Leg Snap by Vinson. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Vinson. Knee Drop to the leg of Kid by Vinson. Figure-Four by Vinson. Kid rolls over and reverses it! Vinson lets go of the hold. Vinson goes for a Powerbomb, but Kid turns it into a Hurricanrana! DDT by Kid. Kid climbs up on the railing and hits a Moonsault. Kid tries to throw Vinson off the scaffolds, but Vinson thumbs Kid in the eyes! DDT by Vinson. Vinson goes for a Sharpeshooter, but Kid kicks him away into the railing! Kid gets up. Kid goes for the Lightning Bolt, but Vinson picks up Kid and throws him off the scaffolds!! Vinson wins!!! We will be back!!

JH: Both men are in the ring and the bell rings! Confucius hits a Spinning Heel Kick to start! Flying Headscissors by Confucius. Reverse DDT by Confucius. Double-Arm DDT by Confucius. Cover by Confucius! 1, 2, kickout! Confucius goes up top. He goes for a 450 Splash, but Jackson moves! Atomic Drop by Jackson. Russian Leg Sweep by Jackson. Jawbreaker by Jackson. Neckbreaker by Jackson. Brainbuster by Jackson. Jackson goes for a Powerbomb, but Confucius turns it into a Hurricanrana! DDT by Confucius. Confucius goes up top. Shooting Star Press by Confucius. Confucius goes for The Omen, but Jackson slides behind Confucius. Kick and a Tombstone by Jackson! 1, 2, kickout! Double-Arm DDT by Jackson. Jackson sets up Confucius. #5 Iceman Jason McGrew .v. The Shocker
Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one fall and a twenty minute time limit.
(Iceman Jason McGrew's Theme plays as Jason comes into the ring with a huge pop from the crowd.)
Ring Announcer: Coming to the ring at this time, weighing in at 247 pounds, Iceman Jason McGrew!
("Bawitdaba" by Kid Rock plays as Shocker comes to the ring to a huge ammount of boos from the crowd.)
Ring Announcer: And coming to the ring at this time, weighing in at 260 pounds, The Shocker!
(Bell Rings.)
JH: This is going to be a great match, both men were in that Intercontinental
Title 4-way on Thursday.
PS: And they both lost.
JH: Anyway, Iceman starts off by kicking Shocker to the gut, now he runs him to the ropes for a huge clothesline, nicely done by Iceman. Iceman picks up Shocker for a bodyslam. He springs off the ropes with a leg drop and a cover, 1, 2, easy kickout for Shocker. Shocker is being manhandled by Iceman, Iceman kicking and stomping him.
PS: Now Iceman picks up Shocker, sets him up and gives him a piledriver! 1, 2, kickout again. Iceman picks him up, only to send him down in a short arm clothesline. Iceman to the ropes again, elbow. Shocker needs to show some offense here. Iceman setting up for a piledriver, SHOCKER BACK DROPS HIM OVER THE ROPES TO THE FLOOR! GREAT REVERSAL!
JH: Shocker goes to the top, CROSSBODY TO THE OUTSIDE! Shocker gets right back up and gets a chair, and smacks Iceman straight across the back with it. Iceman is reeling. Shocker gives him another shot to the head! Iceman is down. Shocker picks up Iceman, and suplexes him on the floor. Shocker back into the ring.
PS: Iceman takes a while to get in the ring, but he gets there. Shocker is taking Iceman, no, wait, Iceman goes for the Ice Cold Stunner, but Shocker puses him, RIGHT INTO THE REF! Shocker turns Iceman around, Iceman with a kick to the gut, ICE COLD STUNNER! HE HIT IT! A COVER! NO REF! You could count to a hundred, it isn't going to help.
JH: Iceman goes to revive the ref. Ref is up now, so is Shocker, though. Iceman turns around, Shocker kicks him in the gut, POWERBOMB! He throws Iceman into the turnbuckle, Iceman tumbles out, clothesline by Shocker. Shocker is signaling for the end. He sets up Iceman and hits the Electric Shock! Wait here comes Pinhead! Wait Challenge stops him! 1, 2, 3! Shocker has beaten Iceman Jason McGrew!
Ring Announcer: Here is your winner, THE SHOCKER!
(Crowd boos heavily as "Bawitdaba" by Kid Rock plays and Shocker leaves.)

#6 Da Man .v. Beowulf
(Lightweight Championship)
JH: Okay this match is under way. Da Man starts off with a clothesline, but Beowulf ducks and slams him down via a bulldog. Now Beowulf with an elbow into Man's back. Da Man gets up staggering, and Beowulf goes to clothesline him but Da Man links up with a frankensteiner and tosses him out of the ring. Da Man follows him outside. Outside count is now at 1. Da Man gets over to the stumbling Beowulf and slams him into the turnbuckle, and it gives him a red mark on his forehead! Beowulf is now down, he might be out. Da Man puts him on a table and then goes up on the apron and to top rope, he is gonna give him an asai moonsault! Da Man goes for the moonsault, but Beowulf rolls off near the beginning of the jump. Owwww! Man lands hard into the table, which splits in half. Ladies and gentlemen he could be hurt! The ref moves Beowulf out of the way to check on da man! It looks like the ref is abotu to call this match offf, but Da Man is shaking his head no. Da Man doesn't want the match to end. He slowly starts to get up and the ref moves to the side now. Da Man uses the railing to help get up, but Beowulf from behind helps him up the rest of the way, then picks him up and Fireman carry, and he drops his head into the railings. Da man could be hurt from that too, but he gets right back up. Beowulf picks up a chair and swings it at Da Man, but Da Man ducks! Kick and a DDT on the floor by Da Man! Da Man rolls Beowulf back inside and Da Man gets back in too! Wait from the crowd Syxx Pac jumps the railing and goes over to the Lightweight Title! He grabs the Lightweight Title! Wait Da Man sees this and jumps outside! Da Man fights with Syxx Pac over the title! Beowulf is up and he jumps outside. He nails Da Man from behind! Beowulf holds Da Man. Syxx goes to nail Da man with the belt, but Da Man moves and Syxx hits Beowulf instead! The ref sees this and rings the bell! Beowulf wins by DQ!! But Da Man is still the champion!! Wait Da Man lowblows Syxx Pac! Da Man hits the Snow Plow on Syxx Pac and then leaves with his title! Folks we will be right back for more Fury action!

#7 Jakal and Crow .v. Razor Ramon and Freak
(Tag Team Championship)
[The tv screen flashes the words FWA Tag Title Match]
JH: Razor Ramon and Freak now come out to Razor's music, and they make thier way to the ring. They get into the ring and the fans cheer, and Freak goes to the apron on their corner. Now "Whereever I May Roam" by Metallica and Crow and Jakal are coming out with the tag titles on their shoulders. Jakal also has a steel chair, and he raises it in the air, he sets it up outside and goes to the apron on their corner and Ramon and Crow start this off. They lock up, and Ramon gets him in an armlock, now he is twisting it tighter, but Crow stomps away at Ramon and gets out of the locker, he grabs ramon and throws him into the ropes, Ramon passes by and Crow goes down and ramon jumps over, he comes back and Ramon goers for a flying clothesline but Crow turns it into a suplex. Crow tags Jakal in and leaves the ring, and Jakal gets onto the turnbuckle and goes to hit razor with a flying elbow, but Ramon barely rolls out of the way. Ramon reaches to Freak for the tag, and barely makes it, Freak jumps onto the ropes and goes for a moonsault and hits Jakal. Freak now picks up Jakal and trys tp whip him into his teams corner, but Jakal Reverses it and gives a clothesline. Jakal picks him up and Military press by Jakal on Freak. Jakal goes for another elbow drop and lands it onto Freak. He grabs Freak by his hair and takes him to his corner to go for a tag, but Freak gets out of it and hits him with a fisherman suplex. Freak gets Jakal up and whips him into his and ramon's corner and they make the tag, Freak picks Jakal up on his shoulders and Ramon clotheslines him off, Freak leaves the ring. Ramon grabs Jakal's knee and slams it into the mat, then does it again! Ramon now gets Jakal in a figure four, he is working on the leg of jakal. Wait, what's this? Jakal is turning the figure four over, and has razor in it now. Razor drags himself to the corner and maeks the tag, Jakal now rolls out of the ring and goes to get his chair. Freak goes to the ropes, and is now trying a frog splash into Jakal, but Jakal nails him with the chair and hits Freak back into the ring. Freak could be out! Jakal's chair has a big dent in it now. He takes the chair to the ring and lays the chair on Freak's chest. Jakal now bounces off the ropes and elbow drops the chair. Freak could be hurt, Jakal tags in Crow, Crow's finally back in. Crow goes over to Freak. He picks him up, and piledriver! Crow gets Freak in a boston crab, but his hands are on the ropes, and the ref breaks the hold, he checks to check if Freak is conscious. He picks his hand up once, it drop,s he trys again, it drops. He trys one more time, but its up, and Freak crawls to razor and makes a tag, Crow goes for a drop kick but Razor grabs him and throws him down. Ramon now grabs the chair, and sets it on Crow's chest, and goes to the second turnbuckle and does a legdrop. Bam! Ramon lands it. Ramon now gets Crow up, and Crow trys to get Ramon in the bloodflow ddt, but he pushes him off, them Ramon puts Crow in a DDT, and down to the mat they go! Freak is still on the apron, he is not moving. Crow stumbles up, and makes the tag to Jakal, but Wait, Ramon connects Crow in the back of the head with the steel chair. Crow is now out. Both Crow and Freak are on laying on the turnbuckle unconscious. Wait here comes Shocker with a 2X4! Wait here comes Vinson with a pipe from the crowd! Wait here comes Garret Bannon from the roof with a bat! Shocker nails Ramon with the 2X4!! Vinson nails Ramon with the pipe!! Bannon nails Jakal and Crow with the bat!! All 4 wrestlers are out! The ref sees all 3 men outside and the rings the bell!! He rules this match a Double Knockout/Double DQ!! This match is a No Contest!! Jakal and Crow keep the titles!! Here comes officials and medical help! We will be back with our Main Event! Don't go away!!

#8 Soldier Syxx .v. Psycho
(World Championship/Hell in a Cell Match)
JH: Psycho comes out first. Then here comes Soldier Syxx. The cell is then lowered around them. The bell rings and here we go! Psycho pounds on Syxx. Whip to the ropes and a Clothesline by Psycho. German Suplex by Psycho. Psycho goes outside and grabs a chair. He brings it inside. Wait Drop Kick by Syxx. Syxx picks up the chair and nails Psycho! Slam and a Leg Drop by Syxx. Spinning Heel Kick by Syxx. Syxx climbs up top. Moonsault by Syxx. Syxx goes back up top. Syxx goes for a Frog Splash, but Psycho grabs the chair near-by and holds it in front of him and Syxx then lands on the chair! Death Valley Driver by Psycho. Reverse Tornado DDT by Psycho. Psycho goes up top. 450 Splash by Psycho. Psycho throws Syxx outside. Psycho goes up top again. Syxx gets up. Shooting Star Clothesline to the outside by Psycho! Psycho sends Syxx into the steel steps! Psycho drags out a table and slides it inside. He sets it up inside. Syxx is getting up on the apron. Psycho runs over to him and tries to punch him, but Syxx blocks it and pounds on Psycho! Syxx springs off the ropes and hits a Hurricanrana on Psycho! Syxx puts Psycho on the top rope. Syxx goes for a Top Rope Hurricanrana, but Psycho turns it into a Superbomb through the table!! Psycho goes for a cover! 1, 2, KICKOUT!! Very close!! Psycho nails Syxx with the chair! Psycho goes up top and hits a Moonsault. Psycho wedges the chair into the corner. Psycho tries to slings Syxx into that corner, but Syxx reverses it! Psycho gets slung into the corner, but he stops himself! Psycho grabs the ropes and lands behind Syxx who charged in after him! Wait Psycho applies the Psychotic Crippler! Wait Syxx ducks down and sends Psycho right into the chair in the corner!! Syxx Kick by Syxx!! Syxx grabs the chair and Syxx nails Psycho with the chair! Syxx goes outside and slides another table into the ring! He sets it up! Syxx goes to pick up Psycho, but Psycho lowblows him! Psycho sees the table and puts Syxx up top. Psycho climbs up top. Psycho grabs Syxx for a DDT. Wait here comes a masked man! He tries to interfer, but the cell stops him!! Wait Syxx picks up Psycho and hits the Soldier Slam Driver from the top rope through the table!!! 1, 2, 3!!! Syxx wins!!!! What a match! We are out of time! I will see you Thursday!!
