Sunday Night Fury (5/16/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "FURY" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and
brings us to the announcers table at ringside where Jumbo Hastings and Phil Smith are standing.]
JH: Welcome everyone to Sunday Night Fury!!
We are live from the Rosemont Horizon in Rosemont, IL!!! We are just minutes away from the Wrestlefest 99' only on PPV! But before that we have 2 matches for you!! Now I will let Phil bring you this news!
PS: Psycho is not here right now. His plane has been in a little delay. So he can not compete in the 5 Way Match on this show in a few minutes. But he will still compete in the HUGE MEGA Death Match against Iceman at the PPV! Lets go to the action!
#1 eWo: Soldier Syxx .v. WC: Syxx Pac
(Non-Title Match)
JH: Now, this match is under way. Syxx Pac starts it5 off, he pounds on Soldier Syxx, but he picks him up and slams him into the turnbuckle.
PS: Soldier syxx climbs up on Syxx pac and begins the count, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,... oh, but Syxx Pac with a headbutt sends Soldier Syxx off, then follows up with a ddt to send him to the mat. Syxx Pac now stomping away at Soldier Syxx.
JH: Syxx Pac picks him up for another DDT, but Soldier Syxx turns it into a belly to back suplex. Soldier Syxx is returning the hits. Bulldog by Soldier Syxx, Soldier Syxx locks on a camel clutch now, Syxx Pac hits the ropes thoguh.
PS: They both get up, and they lock up, Syxx wins the lock up, and whips Soldier Syxx into the ropes, syxx goes for a spin kick, but Soldier Syxx ducks, he returns, and Soldier Syxx goes for a clothesline, but Syxx moves to the side, and now has him locked in a sleeper.
JH: Soldier Syxx trys hard to get out of the hold, and eventually does. He starts fighting back up, Elbow by Soldier Syxx, Frankensteiner by Soldier Syxx into the middle of the ring. Soldier Syxx goes up the turnbuckle and goes for a frogsplash. Syxx Pac moves!
PS: Wait here comes Joe Jackson with a baseball bat! The ref checks on Soldier Syxx. Jackson runs to the ring and nails Syxx Pac with the bat!! Jackson then runs away, just as the ref turns around!
JH: Soldier Syxx is back up. Soldier Slam Driver by Soldier Syxx!! 1, 2, 3!! Soldier Syxx wins!!! We will be right back!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
(The lights dim in the arena and the X-PAQ theme plays over the PA as Panther comes down the aisle. He gets into the ring and grabs the mic)
Panther:Hey, Prez! You heard what I said the other day! Nobody crosses the X-PAQ and gets away with it! Get you a** in this ring, son!
(The Prez appears in the entrance way)
Hi, Josh! Come on down! Come on!
(The Prez begins walking down the aisle and comes into the ring)
Prez: Panther, what is this all about? Is this some kind of publicity stunt?
Panther: I'm already the Champion of Champions and the Heavy Hitter of the WFW. I am recognized around the globe as a superstar in this fed. I don't need any publicity. This is all about what you did Thursday night!
Prez: Whoa! First off, you need to show me some respect. I hired you and I can fire you! Now you're angry about me messing up you're little attack on Thursday when all that I did was tell J-Dogg to go to the back. I didn't say it in a mean way and I didn't insult him, but I did let him know that he wasn't allowed at ringside. Now you're angry about that? I don't think so! You and the X-PAQ are just trying to make a name for yourselves at my expense!
Panther: Are you done?
Prez: Yes.
Panther: Now listen up! You're kind of right. What happened Thursday isn't the main reason that I called you out here. All that you have to do is think for a sec.
Prez: What are you...
Panther: Shut up! Oh! You getting a little hot under the collar? Let me explain why you're out here. You see, many stables and many people have claimed to "dominate" the WFW. Now when me, J-Dogg and Sniper formed this group we said that our goal was total domination of the WFW. Now about a week ago I realized this: There's only one guy that can truly dominate the WFW and that's the person who owns it, you! So if we wanna dominate this fed we've gotta take care of you!
Prez: So what you're saying is that you're picking a fight with me so that the X-PAQ can control the fed, right?
Panther: Yeah. The Prez: You know Panther...
The Prez: My Turn to speak! You wanted to know if I have enough to guts to face you. Well I am here, but I am sure not wrestling you. Because you work for me. I am not going to be stupid and wrestle you. NO WAY! So this was a complete waste of time. So get a clue Panther and the rest of X-Paq. You can never dominate this fed, because it stupid. It was stupid the first time about 3 months ago and it is stupid now! I am not going to work with you. Do your own thing. Got it. I am out of here.
JH: Well Panther is mad! But The Prez did the smart thing! We will be back!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#2 Vigilante X .v. Freak .v. HBK .v. Lord of Darkness
(4 Corners Match)
JH: Well as you know Psycho could not compete in this match, because of his plane delay.
Well HBK and LOD are in the ring now. But where's Vigilante X and Freak?
PS: I dont know but it's underway I guess. Both men are in the ring and attacking each other. LOD is getting beaten on by HBK.
JH: LOD nails HBK back. LOD picks up HBK and sets him up for a DDT. He hits it. But where's Vigilante and Freak?
PS: I guess they are not coming. LOD is taking it to HBK in the ring. LOD is stomping a mudhole in him Jumbo.
JH: He certainly is.. LOOK, LOOK. From the rafters its Vigilante X coming down on a wire. Oh my, he's in the ring now. He grabs LOD and smacks him down. Now, he is free from his harness and he picks up HBK he sets him up for a suplex.
PS: And he hits it right in the middle of the ring. He's working on HBK's back now with kicks. Now, LOD is up and he gives Vigilante a big spinning heel kick to the back of the head. But look from behind.
JH: Vigilante X goes outside and grabs a chair. He nails HBK with the chair! LOD is up and he clotheslines X outside!
PS: LOD pins HBK! 1, 2, 3!! HBK is gone! It looks like Freak has skipped this match! And Psycho is still getting here, so X is all alone with LOD!
JH: LOD looks for X outside. He can't find him. Wait X sneaks up from LOD from the othr side!
PS: LOD turns around. Kick and the Pain Injector by X!! 1, 2, 3!! Vigilante X wins!!! Well what was a 5 Way Match turned into a Triple Threat Match! But X still pulled it out!
JH: We are out time! We are just mintues away from Wrestlefest! We will see you then!
[Just as the Sunday Night Fury is ending, the Arena goes dark. Then a deep voice comes over the PA system.]
"Tonight, is the end. I have returned and I am back with a vengence"
[Then the letters DFWM come on the Titon Tron. The arena is filled with an evil laughter.]
