Sunday Night Fury (5/2/99)
[The screen turns black and the letters,
W...F...W slowly make their way onto the
screen. The letters explode into darkness as
the word "FURY" can now be seen. Then, the WFW Theme begins to play as we are taken inside the arena
where thousands of screaming fans are
standing. The camera pans the crowd and
brings us to the announcers table at ringside where Jumbo Hastings and Chris Michaels are standing.]
JH: Welcome everyone to Sunday Night Fury!!
We are live from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY!!! Tonight we have 7 matches for you!! Including 3 Titles on the line!! Lets go to Jay Powers in the ring!!
(The X-PAQ theme plays over the PA system and the crowd goes wild. Panther comes to the ring wearing a custom made Philadelphia 76ers jersey. He gets to the ring and poses on the ropes as "X'S" shoot down from the rafters.)
JP: OK Panther, there have been rumors going around that you have a problem with your X-PAQ teammate Johnny Gunn. What's this all about?
Panther: Well, Jay, earlier on this week, J-Dogg had some things to say about Doom's injury, you know what I'm talking about, don't you?
JP: When he called him a worthless alcoholic?
Panther: Yeah. Doom was one of the best wrestlers that ever set foot in the WFWA and I think that it's a crying shame that Johnny made fun of his injury the way he did. So Doom, if you're in this building, I want you to come out here and accept an official apology from the X-PAQ!
(Crowd chants: "Doom")
JP: You're asking Doom to come out here? You're not going to hurt him, are you?
Panther: I'm not that kind of guy. I respect Doom and I just want to apologize.
(Doom's music suddenly plays over the PA system and the crowd begins to cheer. The cheers turn into laughter as Johnny Gunn comes to the ring dressed like Doom and carrying 3 bottles of beer. Lisa comes to the ring with him pretending to be Fyre.)
Doom, how are you doing?
Doom/J-Dogg:How are you doing? Let me tell you something...PAL! I am not an (takes a sip of beer) alcoholic!!! I'm a baptist!!!
Panther: Whatever. Well, I called you out here to apologize, so sorry.
Doom: What ma? (begins drinking more beer)
Panther: OK, so tell me what happened the night that you had your accident.
Doom: I had an accident? Oh yeah, the skinny red-haired kid! I hated that bi...
Panther: No!, the accident that injured you!
Doom: Oh, the car! Let me tell you what happened, I had just fought Johnny Gunn and I got my a** knocked outta my mouth, it tasted good too! (Finishes one of the bottles of beer and starts on the next)So I went to the bar and all of the wrestlers and the guys were laughing. So I drank more than I've ever drank in my entire life.
Panther: Wow!
Doom: Yup! 565 bottles of wine!
Panther: You beat your old record?
Doom: Only by 1/2 a bottle. So I tried to get out of the door, but I couldn't walk because the plunger was still stuck in my...
Panther: OK, that's all that I wanted to here. If only J-Dogg was here to see this!
Doom: I had a dog when I was eat. I miss that dog (pulls out a bottle of wine and drinks some more)
Panther: What happened to him?
Doom: I drank him!
Panther: You drank your dog! You suck!
Doom: Only when I'm down on myself! (he begins talking in his regular voice)
J-Dogg: Now that's all that I have to say about that loser Doom. The man that used an injury to escape me. Now as for everybody else in the WFW, I've got 3 words for ya:
Crowd: BEWARE OF DOGG!
(X-PAQ's music plays again and they leave the ring.)
JH: Lets go to the action!!
#1 The Great Milinko .v. Blackjack
(Boiler Room Brawl)
CM: Blackjack enters the Boiler Room, and shouts out Milinko's name. Great Milinko appears from behind the door, and hits Blackjack with a pole. Milinko is pounding on Blackjack with the pole.
JH: Milinko tosses the poll, and picks up Blackjack, snap suplex. Powerbomb
by Milinko. DDT by Milinko. Suplex by Milinko. Milinko whips Blackjack into a tank, and the tank breaks and air come thrusting out, with Blackjack inside of it. Milinko drags Blackjack out, and gives him a belly-to-belly suplex. He picks the pole up again and starts hitting Blackjack in the stomach. Blackjack rolls over, in pain, just as Milinko tried to hit Blackjack with the pole. The pole hits Milinko in the face. Blackjack gets up.
CM: Blackjack puts Miliko on top of the tank, and delivers a frankensteirner. Elbow drop by Blackjack. Blackjack grabs a chair and starts hitting Milinko's left knee. Blackjack hooks on a figure-four.
JH: Milinko is screaming in pain. He is tapping out, but that has no effect
in this kind of match. Blackjack, throws down stairs. But Blackjack trips going down the stairs. He lands by Milinko. Milinko, gets on top of Blackjack, and starts punching him.
CM: Milinko starts kicking Blackjack in the midsection. He goes for a piledriver but his knee gave out, and Blackjack lands on top of him. Blackjack gets up and gives Milenko a Wild Card. Then Blackjack goes up the stairs. He gets on the railing, and gives Milenko the Royal Flush!!
JH: That's a 25 foot fall. Blackjack gets up and walks to the door. He opens it and collapes. Blackjack wins!!!!!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#2 Joe Jackson .v. WC: Heavy Metal Kid
JH: This is gonna be a good match. They start it off by spin wheel kick by Kid. DDT by Kid. HMK goes up top, & goes for a diving headbutt, but Jackson moves out of the way.
CM: Joe is in control. Powerbomb by Jackson. Piledriver by Jackson. Jackson goes for a elbow drop and connects. Jackson hooks a inverted STF on HMK. HMK is screaming in pain.
JH: He won't just give up. Jackson finally lets go. he goes for a brainbuster, but HMK shifts his weight, and gives him a side kick.
CM: Kid is back in control. Super kick by Heavy Metal Kid. Kid goes up to and delivers a moonsault. He pins Jackson, 1..2..Kickout. Sleeper by HMK. The ref picks up Jackson's hand, 1..2..Joe keeps his hand up. Elbow into the stomach by Jackson. Jackson throws HMK outside.
JH: Jackson tosses HMK into the steel guardrail. Jackson picks up HMK, and gives him a double arm DDT onto the steel steps. Jackson throws, HMK into the ring. Reverse Russian Leg Sweep by Jackson. Clip to the leg of HMK by Jackson! Jackson rolls HMK back inside. Sharpeshooter by Jackson. Figure-Four by Jackson.
CM: HMK grabs the ropes! Jackson goes for the Jackson Jam Slam, but HMK backdrops him! HMK goes up top. He goes for a Rock & Roll, but Jackson rolls out of the way! Jackson Jam Slam by Jackson on HMK!! 1, 2, 3!! Jackson wins!!

#3 Lord of Darkness and Iceman Jason McGrew vs. Psycho and X-Paq: Panther
(Graveyard Match)
JH: All 4 men are in the graveyard. The rules are simple. To win you must BURY BOTH men in the grave! Here we go! LOD and Panther start off fighting and Psycho and Iceman fight! Clothesline by LOD. Lou Thez Press by Iceman. Stalled Suplex by Iceman on Psycho. Piledriver by LOD. Iceman holds Psycho.
CM: LOD stands back and runs at Psycho with a clothesline, but Psycho ducks and LOD hits Iceman!
JH: Kick and a Reverse Tornado DDT off of a Tombstone by Psycho on LOD. Panther is up and he stomps on Iceman. German Suplex by Panther.
CM: Psycho picks up a shovel and swings it at LOD, but LOD moves! LOD gets up and kicks Psycho. Panther runs at LOD, but LOD backdrops him.
JH: DDT by LOD on Psycho. Neckbreaker by LOD on Panther. Iceman is back up and he gives Psycho a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Iceman nails Panther with a shovel. Iceman picks up Panther. Running Powerbomb by Iceman on top of a coffin!
CM: LOD goes for a Powerbomb on Psycho, but Psycho reverses it into a Hurricanrana! Psycho nails Iceman with a shovel. Psycho throws LOD against a tombstone!
JH: Psycho applies the Psychotic Crippler to Iceman. Wait Iceman ducks down and sends Psycho into the side of the coffin! Panther nails Iceman though!
CM: Panther goes for Da Bomb on Iceman into the coffin, but from behind LOD low blows Panther! LOD puts Panther on top of a tombstone and hits a Piledriver from the tombstone into the coffin!
JH: Low Blow by LOD on Psycho! Wait Ice Cold Stunner by Iceman on Psycho! Psycho falls into the coffin! And Iceman and LOD bury Psycho and Panther in the coffin!! LOD and Iceman win!!!

#4 Confucius .v. X-Paq: Johnny Gunn
(Lightweight Championship/Hell in a Cell)
JH: They lock up. Suplex by Gunn. Leg Drop by Gunn. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Gunn. Elbow Drop by Gunn. Piledriver by Gunn. Rolling Splash off the ropes by Gunn.
CM: Gunn goes for a Frankensteiner, but Confucius turns it into a Powerbomb! Piledriver by Confucius. Reverse DDT by Confucius. Double-Arm DDT by Confucius.
JH: Confucius goes up top. 450 Splash by Confucius. Confucius goes back up top. Moonsault by Confucius. Confucius goes for a Powerbomb, but Gunn turns it into a Hurricanrana!
CM: Asai Moonsault by Gunn. Gunn slings Confucius into the ropes. Confucius hangs onto the ropes! Clothesline by Confucius.
JH: The Omen by Confucius!! 1, 2, 3!! Confucius wins!!!

#5 Razor Ramon .v. The Demon
(No Countout/No DQ Match)
JH: Demon comes out first. He is wearing a mask so we do not know who he is. Then here comes Ramon with no music and he is again wearing all black, t-shirt, jeans, leather boots and leather jacket with dark shades. A black baseball cap and his hair s tied back in a ponytail.
CM: New look for Ramon. What is it all about? Both men are in the ring and bell rings!
JH: They stare down each other. Wait a shoving match now! Wait Ramon rips off his shirt! WHAT!!
CM: Ramon has a shirt on that says 7SOA!! OH MY GOD!!
JH: Ramon has joined 7SOA!! WHAT! Ramon shakes hand with The Demon!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS!!
CM: Demon turns to the crowd with boos! Wait Ramon pulls out a 2X4 from his jacket and NAILS DEMON with it!!!
JH: WHAT!! Wait Ramon covers Demon! 1, 2, 3!!! Ramon wins!!! What happened?!?!
CM: Look a noose is coming down from the ceiling! Ramon ties Demon's legs up in the noose and he raises the rope!
JH: Demon is hanging upside down! Wait Ramon rips off Demon's mask! That is MESSIAH!!
CM: NO IT CAN'T BE!!
JH: IT SURE AS HELL LOOKS LIKE HIM!!! Ramon rips off the 7SOA shirt and leaves the ring laughing!! Wait the lights go out!
CM: When they come back on, the rope is empty! In the ring the words "Wolfpac 4-Life!!" are written in spraypaint! AND Demon is GONE!! Or could it be Messiah?!
JH: It looked like him, but I am not sure. It could be another trick. I guess we will have to hear from the man himself. Hopefully Messiah will make some sort of comment about this.
CM: All we know is that Ramon double-crossed The Demon and 7SOA!!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#6 7SOA: Jeffrey D. Major and 7SOA: The Shocker .v. Jakal and Crow
(Tag Team Championship)
JH: Jakal and Crow comes out first. Then fireworks shoot off as The Theme To Terminator plays over the PA while Shocker and Major enter the ring.
JH: Shocker and Jakal start off. Suplex by Shocker. Leg Drop by Shocker. Elbow Drop by Shocker. Shocker tags in Major. Backbreaker by Major. Powerbomb by Major. Major picks up Jakal.
CM: Wait Spin Wheel Kick by Jakal. Jakal rolls over and tags in Crow. Crow comes in and clotheslines Major. He knocks down Shocker.
JH: Super Kick by Crow. Russian Leg Drop by Crow. Bulldog by Crow. Major tags in Shocker. Crow jumps off the ropes and hits Crow's Flight! Crow tags in Jakal.
CM: Spinning Heel Kick by Jakal on Shocker. Super Kick by Jakal on Major on the apron! Jakal puts Shocker on the top rope. Shocker fights back though and hits a Superplex on Jakal!
JH: Pedigree by Shocker on Jakal. Shocker goes for the Electric Shock, but Crow runs in and clotheslines Shocker! Major gets in and Choke Slams Crow!!
CM: Wait a minute Jakal goes for the Old Glory on Shocker. He hits it! Now he goes for the pin! Major is just standing there with a look of disgust on his face not coming in for the save. 1.....2....3!!! Jakal pins Shocker and him and Crow have won the tag titles!! But look at Major he seems very mad on the outside!
JH: Now Jakal and Crow are leaving to their music with both belts. Wait here comes Challebge running to the ring with a chair. He nails Jakal and Crow with the chair! Then Soldier Syxx comes down and fights with him, before some officials break it up and help Jakal and Crow to the back! Shocker is laying in the ring just coming to his senses. Now, Major is getting in with a look of disgust on his face. He is motioning Shocker to get up, BUT NO. He just kicks his tag partner in the side, now he picks him up and choke-slams him!! Now, Major gets a mic.
Jeff Major: For about four months I have been in this federation. I have been in many stables and I have held a few titles, but it just disgusts me when I look at the condition of this federation. When I look at a superstar like me teaming up with a loser like Shocker. I am the best damn wrestler in this fed, and I deserve better. Damn it!
CM: My gosh. This is unexpected. But listen to the crowd, booing Major like I have never heard. Major seems to really be getting distressed by this.
Jeff Major: You fans dont like me eh? Well, I dont know why, and I dont really give a damn. Cause if you dont like me then you dont have to see me or listen to me ever again. I QUIT THE WFW!!!
JH: MY GOD. Jeff Major has just quit the WFW!!!! Look he's getting out of the ring now, and storming to the back. The fans are all throwing things at him. My god another one of the WFW's best wrestlers has left! This is a sad day!
[Cameras fade to a commercial.]
#7 Soldier Syxx .v. Garret Bannon
(World Championship/American Championship)
JH: Both titles are on the line. The winner will get both belts! Lot at stake here. Here we go! They lock up. Headlock and a Shoulder Block by Bannon. Bannon picks up Syxx. He goes to sling Syxx into the ropes, but Syxx reverses and sends Bannon into the ropes.
CM: Clothesline by Syxx. Slam and an Elbow Drop by Syxx. Syxx goes up top. Suicide Dive by Syxx. Leg Drop by Syxx. Syxx makes a cover! 1, kickout!
JH: Syxx goes for a Piledriver, but Bannon backdrops him. Knee to the gut by Bannon. Neckbreaker by Bannon. Belly-to-Belly Suplex by Bannon. Back Suplex by Bannon.
CM: Bannon goes for a Powerbomb, but Syxx turns it into a Hurricanrana! Syxx goes up top. Flying Clothesline by Syxx. Facebuster by Syxx. Syxx starts stomping on Bannon's arms!
JH: Armbar by Syxx. Hammerlock by Syxx. Bannon back elbows Syxx. Bannon runs into the ropes, but Syxx catches him with a knee to the gut!
CM: Armbreaker by Syxx. Syxx applies an Armbar Submission, but Bannon grabs the ropes! Syxx picks up Bannon for a Soldier Slam Driver, but Bannon reverses it into a DDT!
JH: Cover by Bannon! 1, 2, kickout! Powerbomb
by Bannon. Juvi Driver by Bannon. Bannon goes up top. Top Rope Leg Drop by Bannon. Cover by Bannon! 1, 2, KICKOUT!
CM: German Suplex by Bannon. Bannon sets up Syxx for The Cannon. Wait here comes a man in a ski mask! Wait from behind! Jakal and Crow stop him! They fight with him!
JH: Inside Syxx backdrops Bannon! Syxx Kick by Syxx! Syxx goes up top. Moonsault by Syxx. Syxx makes a cover! 1, 2, Bannon puts a foot on the ropes! Syxx picks up Bannon.
CM: Wait inside cradle by Bannon! 1, 2, KICKOUT! Bannon gets up and clotheslines Syxx!
JH: Bannon goes for The Cannon, but Syxx slides behind Bannon. Soldier Slam Driver by Syxx! Ring of Soldier by Syxx!! Bannon gives up!! Syxx wins!! He is now the World AND American Champion!!!! GREAT MATCH! We are out of time! See you Thursday!!!
