The Creation of the World Before time, before existence of even the All Father, all was Chaos. For in that Chaos, swirled forth a being of immense proportions, a solid entity in the Chaos. This being had no name, however in the Chaos He picked up various ideas and thoughts and began to form the idea of changing the Chaos, forming it into a place for other beings, whose stories He could see forming and discorporating in the Chaos. He began to think of himself as the Father of these beings and their eventual stories. The All Father began by taking chaos in His hands and using His essence to shape it into the stars, the Earth, the Sun, and the Moon. As He shaped it He became weaker until when He was finished He had to rest, allowing the things He had formed to spin off on their own, keeping only the Earth, Moon, Sun, and a few other scattered bits close to Him. So He slept for what would be millennia to us, although it seemed to Him to be but a short time. When He awoke, He was ready to continue. He gathered the remaining chaos and bound it more loosely together to form the waters of the earth and sky. He thought of these as the ground, sea, and firmament. When He finished, He realized that this Earth should be populated. Having no more chaos to shape, He began to use Himself... From the pieces (cells) of His hair and finger nails, He willed the creation of the plants and trees. From the pieces (cells) of His fingers and toes, He willed the creation of the insects and lesser creatures of the earth. From the pieces (cells) of His arms and legs, He willed the creation of the robin, the wily crow, and the creatures of the sky. From His torso, The All Father willed the creation of the bass, and the other animals of the water. The All Father willed, from His bones, that the bears, the bobcat, the deer, and the other creatures of the land be created. The blood from His veins nourished the Earth and caused the Plants and Animals to thrive. Finally, the All Father judged that the Earth was ready for those beings which would carry on His story. From His skull and brain, the All Father willed the creation of Men and Women. And with His death, the beings He had created, from the lowliest insect to the greatest man was imbued with a soul, reflecting that of the All Father, Eternal. So, remember, children, the lesson of the All Father. All life is sacred, and ones eternal soul, as that of any being, is worth the giving of a life.
