LET IT BE

This very rare film, from 1970, shows a side of the Beatles that you've never seen before. It is a candid look at their real lives, in the studio, recording what became their last released album.

The "Let It Be" documentary is like a private look at the "Fab Four" during their bitter break-up. In the film, many studio outtakes, and alternate versions to songs can be heard. Not to mention loads of actual conversations!

The Beatles were well known for their creativity and originality in 60's music. They wrote songs that spoke to their generation, turning popular music into a way of life, and inspiring so many artists after them.

Although it is very interesting to watch, this film is depressing. An actual argument between George and Paul breaks out during a recording. George always hated Paul's moodiness. It was one of the reasons why the two never spoke for several years after.

Yoko Ono, the Japanese girlfriend of John Lennon, is seen more than once in the film, often sitting next to John . Paul is often seen ignoring her.

THE ROOF TOP

After the album is polished up, and completed, the Beatles go on the roof top of Apple Records, to play their last public performance together.
