§ 12-12-501. Purpose.

It is the purpose of this subchapter, through the use of complete reporting of child abuse, to protect the best interest of the child, to prevent further harm to the child, to stabilize the home environment, to preserve family life, and to encourage cooperation among the states in dealing with child abuse.
