Within this valley i walk in the night, Thoughts unsure as i feel her gone from sight. Silent echoes carried thru the wind, Telling of dreams,and forgotten memories. The moon full and bright calls to me, Feel in your heart and you will see. One whom you loved her heart still burns, Reclaim what was lost,rekindle and learn. Carefully my hand clutches a red rose, Breaking the stem i hold it and recall. The sweet scent of a woman i once loved, As i look to the sky i see a missing dove. The light of the moon as the dove calls out, Cries in the night as he seeks for his love. Watching as he flies in a circle above, The one whom he seeks the mate to the dove. Crossing the sky her cries being heard, Two once again their union assured. Beyond the moons light they slowly depart, Then deep down inside me i can feel my heart. Broken and crying if one's heart could speak, Would tell of the lost love it had so wished to keep. The rose i hold it's petals wet from tears, For the one i loved and lost cause of fears. Closing my eyes i can see her once more, As we walked hand in hand our love would withstand. But my own mistakes took her heart from me, Now i walk alone her smile i can not see. An angel of darkness her eyes icy blue, My love was hers and everyone knew. We we're one our hearts intertwined, Together we would be forever for she was mine. Drops the red rose and looks to the sky, What went wrong for my feelings they bind. The one i kept so deep in my heart, Is gone from my side her love did depart. As the wind slowly chills a feeling comes forth, Looking to the night sky a figure in the north. A shadow emerges from the dark and i see, It is the one i had loved slowly coming to me. Her wings open wide as she calls out to me, Come my love let me guide you to see. The forgotten memories you hold deep within, We shall rekindle them and start once again. A year has passed my heart still burns, For we are one our love has learned. I am the angel of the night my arms opened wide, Come back to me now,place your feelings inside. Tears slowly fall as i move closer to her, Soft words as i speak,my angel are you sure? For my love still remains has never been lost, Would have waited for you at any and all costs. As our eyes meet again we see in eachother, That after all this time there could be no others. A touch and a thought as our lips meet again, Time matters not when two hearts can seek to begin. Memories not forgotten just locked deep away, My angel i still love you,not again shall i stray. Let us be reunited for i wish you to stay, Our love is now strong let us keep it this way. Hand in hand they move into the night, To retake what was theirs and the time they have missed. An angel and a demon once departed, Their hearts together again. What have we started?
