The Rules
Offical
Rules
1. You may only
attach one energy card to a given pokemon per turn.
2. A deck may only be 60 or 30 cards, each player must have the
same amount of cards.
3. You must have 6 prizes ready to be taken.
4. You have to have 7 cards as your beggining hand, this may
varie throughout the game.
5. You can only put basic pokemon forward, though you may evolve
them during the game.
6. The moves used can only be used if your pokemon has enough
energy.
7. Once you've attacked your turn is over and you may not use
trainers or other things.
House Rules:
There
are also some rules that are not written and that you may add if
you wish, these are called house rules. I use a few house rules
myself, which I will now show you:
1.
No attacking the turn you retreated.
2. One may, if they desire attach energy received as a prize to a
pokemon after he/she has attacked.
3. You are allowed 5 seconds to change your mind about energy
emplacements.
4. You may use your evolved pokemon's moves aswell as your basic and other evolved pokemon.
Strategy:
Here are a couple of things that can help the average player in his/her games.
1. Always keep pokemon you want to evolve on the bench, that way when it's evlved it won't be damaged. 2. Important: NEVER, EVER bring forward a pokemon that has a weekness toward your opponents pokemon unless you have to. Because if you do... you're screwed.

Different Game Ideas:
Pokémon Stadium
This is a cool way of playing which me, Bulbasaur, and my Friend, Charizard, made up. To play this game you simply follow the offical rules but there is a twist. Here are some new rules for the Pokémon Stadium Game.
You may evolve pokémon and still keep the other basic pokéon and all evolution cards moves.
There are two teams. 2 players on each. Each team faces eachother on the table or floor, ect.
The teams are allowed to help eachother out. For example: If a player has Rattata out and has 20 damage on it already and his other teamate, which IS on his/her team, has a potion; they can use it on there partner. Therefore, you may use trainers on your Teamates pokemon (bench or active)
You may not swap damage with your partner neither can you give your parner pokémon or allow them to pick your prize. But you may use your pokémon's power on your teamate.
Each player has 4 prizes.
When one player wins all his/her prizes he/she still remains in the game but the team does not win yet until his/her teamate obtains his/her prizes also.
When a player is totally knock out or lost, he/she is out of the game. His/her partner is still in the game. [Your probably asking yourself, why stay in the game? Well this has happened to me and I still win! Don't give up!]
Well I think that is it but I might of forgot a rule?! Email me if you find a glich of if you think this deck is good! :)

Here are some FAQ (frequently asked quistions) which we recieve, there might not be a name next to a quistion because we made it up! :)
Sombody asks:
How does the Colorless energy work?
TCG answers:
Well the colorless energy works like this. You may add up to 4 of them in your deck. They count as 2 energy cards. Remember they are not a trainer! You can only use 1 of them per tern and it COUNTS as an energy. You can NOT do energy removal OR energy retrevial on them. That is the advantage.
Sombody asks:
Can I use Japanise pokémon cards in my deck?
TCG answers:
Well this really is up to your opponent. I would think it is ok if you have one of those translators which you can get at your local hobbie shop or card store. But don't take my word for it; don't go and tell your opponent "See TCG says you can do it!" because it is up to him/her.
Sombody asks:
Can I evolve a pokemon twice on my turn?
TCG answers:
No. You cannot evolve a pokémon twice on one turn. See Proff. Oak on page 110 [of your Rule Book] for more details.
Well those are the FAQ we have now! Please send us some? Our Email are the following and please subject it FAQ. Thank You!
