Does Objective Reality Exist, or is the Universe a Phantasm?
In 2003 a remarkable event took place. At the Institute of Advanced Absurdity a team led by quantum physicist Sidd Fett and Professor Sylvester McMonkey McBean performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 21st century. You did not hear about it on the evening news. In fact, unless you are in the habit of reading artistic and scientific journals you probably have never even heard of the I.A.A. , though there are some who believe their discovery may change the face of art and science forever.
Institute for Advanced Absurdity. Under this name a group of young artists and writers has been formed whose aim is to create a center for artistic enlightenment. The idea of the Institute will be that guest artists will come and give musical performances and readings at the public meetings. The young artists of the world, whatever their orientation, are invited to come along with suggestions and contributions of all kinds.
