The attendee stated when she handed the ticket to Yohji.
"Thanks, babe."
He replied, a suave smile and wink before he left the booth. The brunette walked down the carpeted aisle, past rows of eager people waiting for the performance to begin. Yohji wasn't able to find a date tonight. With his plans changed, he walked to the local performing arts theatre a couple blocks away. Apparently there was a ballet tonight. After locating his seat, he glanced around. The theatre was quite large and very old. The walls were sculpted up to a high dome with murals painted from top to bottom. At the peak of the ceiling hung an elegant crystal chandelier.
"Sugoi..."
Yohji sighed stretching out his lanky legs the best he could. The lights dimmed and the show began to start.
"Uso..."The older Weib member cursed when he realized he'd forgotten to pick up a program. The first act was slow moving. It was mostly children who had no idea what they were doing.
"If there is one more child act I'm outta here..."
Yohji muttered ready to shoot himself in the head if it would get him out of there faster. He kept glancing at his watch hoping to God it was intermission soon. It came, but not soon enough for the brunette who rushed up the aisle and out the doors for a smoke before the second act. "This defiantly isn't my night."
Yohji sighed and wondered what his teammates were doing right now. Glancing back inside, he saw the lights dim. The playboy tossed his cigarette to the ground and snuffed it out with his foot. He wasn't halfway down the aisle when he heard a woman's excited voice.
"I heard he choreographed this himself.
Yohji chuckled as he pardoned his was through the irritated row.
"So its a guy. He's got guts."
The older man sat down and let his eyes adjust to the dark. It was indeed a man, young in his twenties Yohji guessed. Thin yet muscular almost delicate body frame."Sexy."
Yohji whispered under his breath. The brunettes mind kept ticking. Short red hair, graceful, feminine...
"Short red hair?"Yohji's mind snapped back into reality. He squinted his emerald eyes.
"That looks like Aya..."
His heart began to pound when the music stopped and the man bowed.
"Aya."
Yohji whispered. The crowd gave him a standing ovation and Yohji just stood there in disbelief, staring at the stage as Aya walked off. His mind was racing, that beautiful graceful dancer was their cold and temperamental leader.
"Hey! Down in front!""Huh?"Yohji blinked. He realized he was the only one standing up.
"G-gomen!"The brunette whispered and quickly excused himself. Once outside he took a deep breath and tried to gather up his strength. Something about seeing Aya on stage showing his deepest emotions to a room full of strangers made Yohji want to reach out and hold him.
"He's doing this all on his own."
Yohji turned his head to see a vendor selling bouquets of red roses. Forcing his legs to work, He stood up and pulled out his wallet.
"I'll take one sir, thank you."
The brunette smiled and walked up to the side door. He took a deep breath and walked in. He was faced with a long hallway, many doors on both sides. Quietly he peered into each one until he'd gotten to the end. Sitting in the corner of the room was the younger Weiß member. He had his head on his knees, eyes closed. He was wearing a tight, deep purple shirt with the sleeves cut off and loose black pants. Yohji thought he looked good enough to eat. The older Weiß held the bouquet behind him and pushed the door open.
"A-Aya, I saw you...On stage."
Yohji smiled softly. Aya's head flew up.
"You saw?'His voice was calm but he seemed scared. Yohji nodded.
"You were amazing, breathtaking."
Yohji took a step forward. Aya stared at him, a look of shock evident on his normally stoic features. Taking it as a good sign, Yohji walked the rest of the way in and knelt in front of his leader.
"I brought you these. I just wanted to tell you how proud I'm, and how impressed you made me. It takes a lot of courage to get up on stage and do what you did."
Yohji brought out the flowers and held them in front of him.
"Yohji..."
Aya whispered, his gaze fixed on the roses. Slowly he reached out and took them.
"You got these for me?"His voice cracked and a blush started to creep up onto his fair cheeks. He stuck his nose into the bouquet and closed his eyes.
"Yeah, you deserve it, you were amazing."
Yohji's eyes got misty as he watched the red-heads.
"Yohji, thank you."
Aya looked up his eyes soft, a small smile played across his pouty lips.
"I also thought you might want someone to walk home with."
Aya nodded and stood up.
"Let me get my stuff together."
They walked down the sidewalk in companionable silence. Yohji was glad to be spending time with Aya, who was normally so cold to him otherwise.
"If you don't mind me asking, what made you decide to take dance lessons anyways?"Aya smiled softly as he remembered back into his past.
"My sister used to take ballet when she was a child. She was so beautiful and graceful, nothing made her happier then dancing."
Yohji nodded softly.
"Like sister like brother."
He added with a wink. Aya turned his head so Yohji wouldn't she hi m blushing.
"After she died I..."
The younger weib member paused to think and clutched the flowers in his hand. It still hurt to think about the past. Yohji could tell that he was uncomfortable.
"Its ok Aya, I understand."
The brunette broke the silence and patted Aya's shoulder. They were almost home, and Aya was almost regretting the fact that it would end soon. Knowing that he could trust Yohji as a friend eased his hurting heart. As they reached the Koneko, Yohji pulled out his set of keys to open the door. Aya mentally noted he needed to grab a vase from the kitchen. Quietly, the older wieb member shut the door behind him and turned on the lights. Aya walked into the kitchen and grabbed vase off the shelf. Filling it with water he carefully unwrapped the roses.
"You don't have to wait for me if your tired."
Yohji smiled. Any excuse to stare at Aya's tight ass even for a short time was well worth it.
"Nah, I don't mind. I like spending time with you. We should go out more often."
The Red-head turned around, holding the vase in both his hands.
"I'll get the door for you."
Yohji turned the handle and pushed open the door to Aya's bedroom and then turned to leave. Before he had even gone 2 steps he felt the gentle touch of Aya's hand on his shoulder. Surprised, he turned around only ro find himself face to face with the beautiful red-head.
"I know we haven't been very close and I really don't know anything about you but your support really means so much to me, thank you."
Aya took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Maybe he wouldn't regret it after all. Yohji reached out and brushed the red-heads cheek with his finger. The gentle way in which Aya spoke sent shivers down his spine.
"I enjoyed watching you dance. Thank you for sharing a part of your life with me."
Aya nodded with a smile.
"Goodnight Yohji."
"Goodnight."
Yohji opened the door to his room when he heard Aya's gentle voice call to him again.
"Will you come again?"Yohji smiled to himself.
"I wouldn't miss it for the world."
Satisfied, Aya shut the door behind him amd smiled wider than he'd had in ages.
End of Chapter one.
