"If I'm quiet enough maybe I can slip in and no one will notice..." Aya thought to himself as he pulled the heavy door open. His plan would have worked however, Yohji just happened to be standing on the other side. A look of surprise crossed the older Weiß members face.
"Aya, your home late. Is everything ok? Hows your sister?" Yohji questioned as he pulled on a light jacket. He was wearing an extremely thin velvet top which left nothing to the imagination.
"I'm fine, shes fine, excuse me." Aya began to slide past him when a hand caught his wrist.
"And where do you think your going?" The brunette pulled the door open slightly, the breeze ruffled his hair, sending the sent of Cologne wafting over to Aya. The younger man just stood for a second and inhaled.
"You smell good..." He mumbled subconsciously. Yohji chuckled causing Aya to blush after he realized what he had said.
"I'm going to bed!" Aya snapped, pulling his hand away. He hadn't even time to turn around when his stomach growled loudly. Yohji's smirk got even wider.
"Oh no your not. I've been waiting for you to come home. I'm taking you out to dinner!" Yohji motioned to the door but Aya shook his head.
"I just want to go to bed." The red-head turned away. He wouldn't let his emotions get the best of him.
"Thats not what your stomach says!" Yohji reached out again and successfully captured Aya's wrist. Yohji had him out the door before he could utter one word of protest.
"What about Ken and Omi?" Aya pointed at the quickly fading house.
"Its ok, I told them we were going out for the evening. Tonight its just you and me." Yohji smiled. It had a nice ring to it.
"Why are you wasting your time on me?" Aya shouted angrily. He pulled his hand out of Yohji's grip and stood on the sidewalk glaring. Yohji stopped and turned around.
"Had it ever occurred to you I might want to spend time with you?" The brunette flicked up his shades and continued on. Aya walked slowly keeping a fair distance between them and continued. Maybe it was the colonge.
"Where are we going?" The red-head's voice broke through the silence. He walked a little quicker until he was walking next to Yohji.
"You'll see." Was the older man's cryptic answer. Yohji smiled. He knew Aya wasn't the bar type. They continued to walk down the main street occasionally glancing at each other. It wasn't long before Yohji stopped in front of a cosy little cafe.
"Here we are." The brunette flashed Aya his best grin and ushered him through the door.
"Yohji..." Was all he said. Quiet and small, it was perfect in his opinion.
"Do you like it?" The baritone voice questioned as Jade eyes caught delicate Amythist ones.
"Yes I do." Aya smirked a little making Yohji's heart jump.
"We can eat outside if you like, its a nice night." The older man smiled back leading his friend up to the counter.
"I'd like that." He replied. Aya seemed to be lightening up a bit.
"Maybe all he needs is someone to talk to." Yohji thought, while Aya looked
at the menu.
"What would you like? I'll order and you can go outside and pick a table." Yohji stepped up to the counter.
"Just a bowl of soup, I guess." Aya shrugged, he'd never been a big eater.
"You'd better get more than that
Aya Fujimiya, your as thin as a rail!" Yohji found this the perfect moment to
casually slip his arm around Aya's shoulders.
"But Yohji..." The red-head
protested, his cheeks turning red.
"No buts. Its my treat." Yohji gave him a little squeeze. He reluctantly removed his arm from Aya's shoulders. The younger man half-walked half-stumbled out the door. He'd leave it up to Yohji.
"I should have...I should have done something back..." Aya mentally cursed himself as he watched Yohji through the glass. It wasn't long before his friend came outside smiling as usual. He set down a sandwich and a bowl of soup in front of Aya.
"I wasn't sure what to get to drink so I got some tea, ok?" Yohji poured him a cup and sat down across from him. He had gotten the same thing.
"Yohji, you didn't have to do this." Aya felt like he owed the brunette something for all this.
"I know, but I wanted to. I've known you for a long time but I really don't know you at all. You keep to yourself all the time, I thought maybe we could be friends. I mean, when is the next time we'll be able to do this again?" Yohji was being completely sincere. He looked almost a little sad. Aya reached across the table and laid his hand on top of Yohji's.
"I hope we'll be able to do this again." Aya was surprised at what he'd done but it seemed like the right thing to do.
"Me too." Yohji smiled. For a while they just stared at each other, Aya was trying to make sense of it all. The older man had brought out emotions he'd never felt before, emotions that he couldn't shake.
"Go on now, eat something before it gets cold." Yohji spoke softly withdrawing his hand. Aya nodded and picked up a spoon. They ate together silently neither knowing what to say. Aya was busy putting 2 and 2 together and guessed that maybe Yohji had feelings for him. Ken had always joked around about it but he never took it seriously.
"Could he really...Care for me?" Aya wondered. Yohji on the other hand found he'd almost lost his appetite, he had something else on his mind.
"Hey Aya..." Yohji whispered putting down his sandwich.
"Aa?" Aya glanced up and set his spoon down.
"Do you think that...Do you want, no...I think...I really..." The brunette stuttered trying to maintain his cool exterior. Aya stopped and stared for a moment when it hit him.
"Yohji's going to ask me out..." The red-heads pace quickened as he watched his friend struggling with the right words. The great Yohji Kudou was...Speechless? "Yohji. Shut up." Aya stood up, reached out and grabbed Yohji's shirt and planted a warm, wet kiss straight on his lips. The older man took the opportunity to slip his expert tongue into Aya's perfect mouth and explore every crevice he could find, enjoying the sound of Aya's soft moans vibrating inside his mouth. But Aya wasn't as inexperienced as he'd thought. Aya was soon dominant, taking control of Yohji's mouth.
"Aya..." Yohji whispered when they pulled apart. "Are you..."
Aya shrugged. He sat back down.
"I don't know. But I'd like to try."
"Yeah lets try together." Yohji smiled reaching out for Aya's hand.
"But Yohji, why me?" Aya spoke softly squeezing the older man's hand.
"I couldn't control who I fell in love with, but it happened to be you." Yohji pulled Aya's hand to his mouth and kissed it gently. Aya smiled a real genuine smile that lit up his face and accented his beauty even more.
"Thanks." Was all Aya said. He didn't need to say anymore, his smile showed Yohji that he was ready to let go of his pain. That smile meant more to Yohji than any words ever could. They had the rest of their life ahead of them and Yohji learned an important lesson. Yes, even the great Yohji Kudou can fall in love.
