Good Advice

“Hey, Matt?”

“Hi Izzy. What is it?” he stopped playing the harmonica.

Only 2 hours after we all said goodbye to our Digimon.

“Can I asked you something?”

“Sure.”

“Well, um...If you really admire and like someone, and I mean a lot,...uh...how do you tell someone?”

He stared blankly at the little kid. The started to chuckle.

“Izzy, I really don’t think you need to be concerning yourself with girls.”

Izzy blushed a bit, then added, “Please Matt? I’d ask someone else, but Tai doesn’t care about this kind of stuff, and Joe an’ TK wouldn’t be much help.”

“...good point. Well...I guess you just tell them.”

“...and that's it?”

“Yeah, I guess.”

“Matt!! I found a really neat bug!!! Come see, quick!!”

“Coming TK! Look Izzy, you’re a great kid. You’ll be fine.” with that, he smiled and ran out to see what TK had found.

“If you only knew Matt. If you only knew.” he whispered.

I remember when I first saw you. I just thought you were another kid, granted a kid who got sucked into the Digiworld. I got to know you all of that time we were there. I admired you, a lot. You were the best friend I had ever had.

I guess I started having feelings for you sometime in the Digital world, though I can’t exactly say when. I remember the first time I realized and admitted my feelings for you. It was at the final battle with Myotismon. Your dad had pulled me into the station’s camera room. While we waited, he started to talk about you. I realized it then.

I’m forcing myself to send this to you. I’m taking your advice. Thank you greatly for it.

I don’t know how you’ll react, but I guess it can’t change the way I feel. Please don’t be mad.
