Jesse - "Thats right, Scott Hall was the No.1 contender for the U.S title, but jumped Storm meaning he couldn't compete in his RWA world title match"
Bret - "Storm defended his title against Hall on the next weeks Impact, but Hall used his sledge hammer to cheat, robbing Storm of the title"
Jesse - "He just did what it took to win, thats all"
Bret - "and then on the last Impact, Hall attacked Storm again, and would have continued to attack him if it wasn't for Kurt Angles help"
Bret - "There's the referee setting up the ladder"
Jesse - "We've had some great ladder matches in the RWA, Saturn vs Credible, Angle vs Christian, theres a great tradition of the ladder match in the RWA"
Bret - "and thats what this is all about, the RWA U.S title"
Jesse - "Scott Hall is the master of the ladder match, remember his performance in matches against Shawn Michaels in the WWF"
Bret - "Here comes Lance Storm, he's had a lot of success in the RWA, winning the U.S title and the King of the Ring"
Jesse - "Maybe, but he's not the champion going into this match"
Bret - "Your right about that, here comes Scott Hall, the U.S champion"
Jesse - "I've got to choose the veteran in this match"
Bret - "Scott Hall has the most experience, but Storm is younger and has better technical skills"
Jesse - "This is a ladder match, not a submissions match, you don't need technical skills"
Bret - "Storm showing those skills right here with a great take down"
Jesse - "Just wait till Scott gets that ladder in the ring, then things will change"
