These rules are for me common sense, but listing them anyway. I follow these myself and expect the same in return:
CD:
- Use a good media. If you receive cdrs with no name on from me, they are Taiyo Yuden cdrs and excellent quality.
- You contact first, you send first (for first time traders)
- NO MP3s!
- Write/burn DAO and with no gaps or pauses between tracks (unless agreed on).
- Always tell me if there's flaws. Like digital pops etc. Please be honest with this, cause I don't need more coasters.
- Don't write on the discs, but include info on a piece of paper. Source info and generation is appreciated.
- Please write "live show trading" or similar in the subject if contact me. I get a LOT of junk mail and not always easy to sort them out.
DAT:
- I clone dat tapes digitally using: Sony TCD-D100 > CoreSound 7pin coax > Sony PCM-R300
- I am usually only interested in 1st gen dat tapes or rare tapes. Want to avoid using my D100 more than necessary.
- I can also do MD > DAT (digital) if requested. I don't want analog copies of dat tapes.
- I am not too picky when it comes to brand and DDS tapes are fine.
- I prefer not to receive 90metre dds tapes unless the show is over 2hours.
VHS:
- I don't have a second vcr, so I can not copy vhs tapes.
- I am mostly interested in DVDs, but if something is only available on vhs, then so be it.
- If we trade VHS-tape, record SP and on a new tape.
DVDs:
- Pretty much the same rules as for cdrs. Good media, etc. Common sense.
- Doesn't matter whether it is DVD-R or DVD+R as I can play both. My dvd player seems to prefer DVD+R though.
AND LAST: I ONLY TRADE. NO NO NO MONEY INVOLVED. ALL MAILS RELATED TO BUYING WILL BE ERASED.
