Well it's been a long time since i've written anything on this page. I'm geussing no one has seen this page since march of last year so maybe i'm just write on this page as some sort of weird masturbation. But anyways we're planning or i'm planning to release an oximoron retrospective showcasing our highlights and more. Included in the greatest hits is exclusive tracks from the new bands the former members of oximoron, unreleased tracks, demos, and acoustic verisons. If i get to do what i want, maybe a remix or two. We may not be a band anymore but i don't want the music to die. A video may be shot as well. Possibly for Highway.
Yeah, the band broke up shortly after Adam exited and talks of a last oximoron show with remaining members have gone stale. Alex is working with his new rap group, dTox. While Matt is playing drums with his new instrumental group, Dead Man's Dream. Adam is trying to put together some sort of a album consisting of him on guitar and vocals. If ever it may happen you will be informed.
Last of all, if you want to see video of the good old days DCTV is constantly playing BUILDING WORSTVILLE. If it's not on, give them a call and they will more than likely put it on for you. Thanks for reading and listening.

Ok, so the Tinora variety show didn't happen. There wasn't enough good acts is the reason that was sighted for the axeing of the school's variety show. So what do we do from here? We go and do a show at the Hot Spot in Paulding again. We've upgraded our gear and it looks like it make be a better show than any oximoron gig ever. We've got a pretty strong set list and some pretty great bands with us. I urge you all to go and check it out. Especially since this is adam's last show with the band. He was a founding member of the band and is leaving because of personal reasons and for the good of the band. The show is april 5th at the hot spot once again. The doors open at 6 and the show starts at 7 with ALex's rap side project dTOX. Then members of aimless's new band, The Burninators. After them are our good friends, SUBTYPE. And OXIMORON will close out the show. Adam's working on some stuff to sell there. There's gonna be videos of the rarely seen DCTV tv special there for 5 bucks and some shirts and cds. So i hope to see you all out there.

Alex had finally recovered from his accident and is ready to perform. We have the tinora variety show tryouts this tuesday. We'll be performing a full band version of 'Highway' with the school music teacher, Eric West, on piano . It's a very beautiful song. I hope we make it in so you guys can hear it. It's great. If we make it then The Variety Show will be on March 15th at 7:30 PM at the Tinora High School Auditorium. This will be the second to last show that will have Adam. The Last show will be the First Show of the ELEVATOR MUSIC TOUR.
THE ELEVATOR MUSIC TOUR is a little music package that we've put together that features OXIMORON, SUBTYPE, and Alex's rap side project he's been working on called THA D-LINKQUINTZ. We're hoping to add another band or two. But about the Last Adam Gig. It will be on April 5th at the hot spot in Paulding. We'll get More info up as it becomes availiable.

show cancelations and alex's accident
Last night alex was in a car accident. His head slammed against the windshield shattering it. He went to the emergency room and found out that all he suffered was a concussion. Alex is recovering from the injury but due to the accident the first two of the three dates of the Elevator Music tour have been cancelled so alex can rest up. Sorry.
11/7/02Acoustic Shows and The Elevator Music Tour
Ok, here's what's up. We played the gig on the 2nd of November and people said it was good. if it was or not thats really up to them but what we have coming up is a couple ideas. One is Alex's brain child, The Elevator Music Tour featuring Oximoron, Traf, Andrew W.K., Yanni, Kenny G. and Barry Manlow. But due to schedule restrictions Everyone except oximoron and traf can't make it. Look for those date to get nailed down soon. But then we have something new for the old time oximoron fans. Sick of the same old electric crap, have no fear peoples, Oximoron are setting up some acoustic dates. For when and where we don't know yet. probably the skylark and the hotspot. Then there is some place in Ney, Ohio as well. Well thats about all the news i have at this point. Catch ya later.

We're Back... Somewhat.
What's up. Yeah, we're back somewhat. We have a documentary airing on the defiance public broadcast station, DCTV. It's called OXIMORON: BUILDING WORSTVILLE. Its a show that shows live performances and us recording our new album, Worstville. It's only airing on DCTV 5. It's channel 5 if you have adeliphia cable and live in the defiance area. You'll have to tune in to find out when it's on. This is a little late but Oximoron was on the austin Nichole show the whole month of october. Woops! Anyways, you'll only get to see it on DCTV until i get some more things done so i can start selling copies of the show at our live gigs. I'm hoping to put extra things on the tape that you can't see on DCTV. I'm gonna throw on our first Music Video for MOUSE-EATING CHEESE and i'm hoping to begin on some more videos and find more footage of us performing songs. Yeah, here's another late announcement. November 2 we will be opening for AIMLESS and FACE FLY at the HOT SPOT in paulding. I'll probably have the video camera along to get some more crap for the our homevideo. I put some new pictures up and updated the whole format of the picture page. i think it's a change for the better people. I have a name for the August 24th gig now. it's called the NORTHWEST OHIO ORIGINAL MUSIC SHOWCASE and it will be hosted by DCTV's own DR. MOR B.S. I'm gonna post all the bands who will be in it. Also i think i'm gonna make a lyrics page. So I'll catch ya later peoples.

NEW ALBUM
well on july 19th we enter the studio to record our album or ep. We have a couple names for it and are throwing around a couple ideas. It should be done way before we play our show with trunkmuscle. Oh yeah, you don't know about that. We think we landed the opening spot for the Trunkmuscle CD release party. We don't know a date yet. But then again i never know any dates for anything... and i'm the bass player!!! Anyways, the ep should be out and about by the trunkmuscle show but definately out when we play the Defiance, Ohio venue of Cherry Bend on August 24th. Well thats the gist of things right now my friends. I'll give you an update of things as soon as they happen.

MORE OXI PLEASE
Well we played the show at the skylark on the 8th and it was one of our best. Could also be the only time we've played Papa Roach's Last Resort and not sucked at it. Also i would like to annouce that on June 2nd Adam graduated from high school. Oh yeah, the concert at the Hot Spot this saturday was canceled due to every one is out of town. She said that they'll probably do it again in august. Now that that was canceled it leaves Oximoron one more gig. It's at the end of the month and at Don's music center. Check the gig's page for more details. But yeah we need to get some more gigs (wink, wink) Oh yeah, because of the shortage of gigs we will be going to a studio to record a new album. We will be recording new tracks such as The One, Friends Are Just a Trend, and others as well as Old ones that need updated to a better grade of recording. Yeah, we'll be re recording Mouse Eating Cheese, Puppets (maybe the new rock verison), Useless medication, and probably Short Bus. So thanks for the support and we'll post up any more shows if we get them.

I THINK MY DAD'S GONE CRAZY
you'll have to pardon the headline. i bought eminem's new album and have been listening to it non stop for the past 3 days. Anyways, on to the news for today. I talked to a representative of a show on DCTV (DEFIANCE CITY TELEVISION) and they are putting together a teen show and want bands to play on it. Oximoron is slated to be on this show. ANOTHER DAY IN THE LIFE...
Well Matt, Josh (Middle Class Trash guitarist), and I came through with the skylark gig. it's set for June 8th with a cover charge of 3 bucks and it's for ages 14 to 19. Also We picked up a gig on the 18th of May at the Hot Spot and it starts at 8 so you should probably come. Directions for it are under the gigs page. Well nothing too terribly interesting goin on in the oximoron camp. so ta ta for now.

new oxi news
Saturday was our second offical gig. More are coming up soon. I think saturday was a break out performance. Splitt Second had to bow out because the memebers had to work that night so we brought in a band we go to school with, TRAF. When i arrived at the hot spot, TRAF's lead singer was no where to be found so i called in another band, MIDDLE CLASS TRASH. Then i saw that Traf's singer came and we had two opening acts. I really liked Middle Class Trash, it was their first gig. They came on such a short notice that they didn't even have a set list. I really would like to thank them for coming.
Tonight, Matt, Josh (middle class trash guitarist), and I are heading to the Skylark Youth Center for a meeting. Hopefully we can get a gig there. I'm shooting for sometime this month but not sure. may have to go next month.
TRAGEDY
Oh, and we had a tragedy saturday night at our gig. While Middle Class Trash were playing, Bookie the lawn gnome vibrated off the bass amp and took a fall. He broke his hat but we think it can be repaired. Our hope and prayers are with Bookie and his family.

GIGS!!!
Hey everyone! Alex, Matt, and I went to a gig at the hot spot in paulding. We saw a band called Splitt Second. They were pretty good. We swung it so that we have a gig at the Hot Spot in Paulding on May 4th. Misc Oxi News
- Oximoron are looking for gigs. We are hoping for a gig at the Skylark in may and a gig in paulding at the Hot Spot in June. Keep looking here for dates and places.
- New songs are being written. A new album is set to be recorded soon. Names of a couple of the tracks are The One, Head Trip, and No Life. The working title to the cd is THE LAWN GNOME CONSPIRACY.

PROJECT ROUNDABOUT
Adam has devised a clever way of promoting the band, it's called project roundabout. The idea of project roundabout is that oximoron's music be heard. 10 cds will be given out and those cds must be passed on. there will be a website that has a geust book where the person who has the cd will report who he is and how he like the cd. After the person is done with the cd he must pass it on to another person. Adam thinks this is a great idea and hopes it works. the website can be found at
