Tool ROCKS! July 8, 2002                                                     

     Okay, is it me or is time going by really fast?  I also have this feeling like I should be doing something but I don't know what. I guess it's probably just because everything is so disorganized from trying to get organized. I mean, well I'm a twin, and there are a lot of things such as CD's, DVD's and stuff that we share, so I have to buy a ton of blank cd's just so we can each have a copy in some form...I'm not worried too much about DVD's because most of them are mine, but he has some cooler ones than I do. I've bought a bunch of new clothes (those were way overdue) and I also got an ironing board, iron, and mop, broom and stuff like that mainly because I'll be too lazy to get all of it (assuming I'll have time) when I get to Orlando.  I'm also putting all of my bands music on cd's...stuff we did on my old 4-track and stuff like that. That's kept me pretty busy.  I guess I'm going to order all of my books online tomorrow when I get off work so that will also be taken care of.
I'm also really excited because at the end of this month my brother is taking me to my first Tool concert! ROCK! If you don't know who Tool is, they're really a dark band, but they also are some of the most talented musicians I've ever heard. And I finally get to see the man, Maynard James Keenen, himself.  He's got a GREAT voice. Also, Tomahawk is Opening up and that's the lead singer of Faith No More's new side project with the drummer from Helmet, bassist from the Melvins, and the guitar player from Hank Williams III.  That should be really cool too!

Oh, yeah I almost forgot...if anyone remembers Monkey boy from the post a few days ago, it turns out that monkey boy is actually monkey girl, and seems to be a really nice person...so no hard feelings, eh Monkey Girl?  She just had a really bad experience...something like they told her if she didn't clean her room, they were going to fire her and some other stuff?  That's pretty stupid. but Oh well, everyone's experience I'm sure is different. After some careful thought, I've decided to not have a summer contest after all...I mean there are only 28 days left and I don't really have the time, and are too cheap to cough up the money! Anyway, talk to you guys tomorrow...dont forget to sign my guestbook so I at least I know someone is out there.
