My name is Matthew Johnson and I live in Magnolia, Arkansas (well for the next 36 days or so).

It's the very southern center of Arkansas about 17 miles from Louisiana.  Don't worry, I'm not a

hick. In December I started asking my friend Tasha Hicks (alumni) about her going to Disney. I

knew a few people then who had gone, but I didn't even think it would be a remote possibility that I

could do it too. To my surprise she encouraged it greatly and told me lots of stories, showed me lots

(LOTS) of pictures and even invited me to go with her and meet some alumni friends from all over

for spring break.  All I ever hear about is how much fun I'm going to have, and how I'm never going

to want to leave. SO, if i transfer to Full Sail and study recording arts, I won't have to. Yeah, I've

got everything planned out. I hope. So, back to my story, I made the necessary preparations to

interview in Shreveport and I was a nervous wreck. Thank God Tasha was there or I wouldn't have

made it home. I was SURE that I had "flunked" the interview with flying colors. This was Monday

March 11, 2002 and i left for Spring Break on Friday, March 15 at 12:00am so I wouldn't even

know my fate until that next wednesday. There we all are at the condo and getting ready to swim

and I call my mom to check in and my friends urged me then to ask her if a letter came. Well, she

Wasn't even going to tell me anything, but she broke down like a red headed step child when I

asked about it. She said..."do you really want to know" in a highly disappointing tone but then she

told me and all was forgiven. I found out I was an operations cast member which means I'll have

a job either with a ride (yay!), park greeting (not so yay), or parking (....), which is all really ok with

me because i'm just happy to get to work for Disney.  So now I'm making a website to keep me

busy for these next 36 days. Also recording will take up a lot of time too...Thanks for dropping by
