Program
The Delta Xi Lambda Chapter
is proud to announce that it is accepting applicants for participants in
it's 2002-2003 Young Men of Distinction Program. Participation is
open to males in high school in the Central Florida area. All participants
should be enrolled in high school for the 2002-2003 school year. There is
a minimum grade point average requirement of a 2.0. All applications must
be postmarked by August 21, 2002. For more information on the

"A Mid-Summer's Knight Dream"
On Saturday July 27, 2002, several
Bachelors of Delta Xi Lambda participated in the National Black MBA
Association's "Mid-Summer's Knight Dream" fundraiser. The second annual
Bachelor auction raised funds to provide graduate and undergraduate
scholarships for students pursuing a degree in a business related field.
The upscale sell-out audience bid on over twenty diverse bachelors from the
Orlando area. The Men with "Alpha Attitude" were definitely
the hi-light of the evening.

Evening of Fine Wine,
Inspiring Art and
Stimulating Music.
This event was again held at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort,
Saturday July 13, 2002.

Delta Xi Lambda participated in the 2002 March of Dimes Walk
America. The Chapter helps raise funds annually as part of it's
Special Projects and National Projects Programs.

Wine and Cheese Tasting
|
The Men of Delta Xi Lambda
hosted a Wine and Cheese Tasting at Disney's Coronado
Springs, La Mesa Patio, Saturday, April 6, 2002. Over 100 guest
sampled various wines and cheeses as they mingled and listened to
jazz. A special thanks goes out to Bro. Sylvester Taylor and his
committee for putting on such a fine event with Alpha Attitude.

Martin Luther King Jr Luncheon
|
Delta Xi Lambda held
it's 16th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Commemorative
Luncheon, Friday, January 18, 2002. The keynote speaker was Mayor
of New Orleans, Marc Morial. The event culminated with the
prestigious Drum Major Awards given to 'Dream Keepers'

Habitat for Humanity Project

Several Brothers participated
in the Habitat for Humanity Project, December 2001, helping to build
a home for the less fortunate. This project was spearheaded by the
