Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ

Galilee, named Nazareth, Lu:1:27: To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. Lu:1:28: And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Lu:1:29: And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. Lu:1:30: And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. Lu:1:31: And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. Lu:1:32: He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: Lu:1:33: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Lu:1:34: Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? Lu:1:35: And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Lu:1:36: And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. Lu:1:37: For with God nothing shall be impossible. Lu:1:38: And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Lu:1:39: And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; Lu:1:40: And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. Lu:2:1: And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. Lu:2:2: (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) Lu:2:3: And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. Lu:2:4: And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) Lu:2:5: To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. Lu:2:6: And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. Lu:2:7: And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. Lu:2:8: And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. Lu:2:9: And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. Lu:2:10: And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. Lu:2:11: For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Lu:2:12: And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. Lu:2:13: And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Lu:2:14: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Lu:2:15: And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us. Lu:2:16: And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. Lu:2:17: And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. Lu:2:18: And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. Lu:2:19: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Lu:2:20: And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

M't:1:19: Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. M't:1:20: But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. M't:1:21: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. M't:1:22: Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, M't:1:23: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. M't:1:24: Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: M't:1:25: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Lu:2:42: And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. Lu:2:43: And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. Lu:2:44: But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. Lu:2:45: And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. Lu:2:46: And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. Lu:2:47: And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. Lu:2:48: And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. Lu:2:49: And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? Lu:2:50: And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. Lu:2:51: And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. Lu:2:52: And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

Jesus the true light

Jesus the true light Joh:1:6: There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. Joh:1:7: The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. Joh:1:8: He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. Joh:1:9: That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Joh:1:10: He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. Joh:1:11: He came unto his own, and his own received him not. Joh:1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Joh:1:13: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Joh:1:14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Joh:1:15: John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. Joh:1:16: And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. Joh:1:17: For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Joh:1:18: No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Joh:14:9: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Joh:14:10: Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Joh:14:11: Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Joh:14:12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Joh:14:13: And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Joh:14:14: If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

M't:4:18: And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. M't:4:19: And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. M't:4:20: And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. M't:4:21: And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. M't:4:22: And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him. M'r:1:14: Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, M'r:1:15: And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. M'r:1:16: Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. M'r:1:17: And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. M'r:1:18: And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him. Lu:12:23: The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Lu:12:24: Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? Lu:12:25: And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? Lu:12:26: If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Lu:12:27: Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Lu:12:28: If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? Lu:12:29: And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. Lu:12:30: For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

Great Tribulation

Great Tribulation M't:24:3: And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? M't:24:4: And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. M't:24:5: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. M't:24:6: And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. M't:24:7: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. M't:24:8: All these are the beginning of sorrows. M't:24:9: Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. M't:24:10: And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. M't:24:11: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. M't:24:12: And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. M't:24:13: But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Ac:2:16: But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; Ac:2:17: And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Ac:2:18: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: Ac:2:19: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: Ac:2:20: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: Ac:2:21: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

M't:26:8: But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? M't:26:9: For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. M't:26:10: When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. M't:26:11: For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. M't:26:12: For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. M't:26:13: Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her. M'r:14:3: And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. M'r:14:4: And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made? M'r:14:5: For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her. M'r:1:9: And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. Lu:3:21: Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, Lu:3:22: And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Joh:6:11: And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. Joh:6:12: When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. Joh:6:13: Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. Joh:9:25: He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. Joh:9:26: Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? Joh:9:27: He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples? Joh:9:32: Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. Joh:9:33: If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. Joh:9:34: They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: M't:6:29: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. M't:6:30: Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? M't:6:31: Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? M't:6:32: (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. M't:6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. M't:6:34: Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 1Jo:5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1Jo:5:8: And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 1Jo:5:9: If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
