Harry Potter

Ron & Hermione

O_O That picture of Harry and Draco is hot...NOT THEM TOGETHER! But they both look really cute in the pic lol. When it comes to other couples in Harry Potter I also like Harry/Ginny (the orange crush ~_^), Draco/Pansy (mwahhaha the evil love), and Lucious/Narcissa (not gonna talk about them since not much is known about their relationship). So here are the cute moments between these two cute and I think now considered CANON pairings. (Yay! for HBP!) ^_^

The Chamber of Secrets-

Chapter 3

At that moment, there was a diversion in the form of a small, red-headed figure in a long nightdress, who appeared in the kitchen, gave a small squeal, and ran out again. "Ginny." said Ron in an undertone to Harry. "My sister. She's been talking about you all summer."

On the third landing, a door stood ajar. Harry just caught sight of a pair of bright brown eyes staring at him before it closed with a snap. "Ginny," said Ron. "You don't know how weird it is for her to be this shy. She never shuts up normally --"

Chapter 4

"Oh, are you starting at Hogwarts this year?" Harry asked Ginny. She nodded, blushing to the roots of her flaming hair, and put her elbow in the butter dish. Fortunately no one saw this except Harry...

"The crowd cheered and clapped and Harry found himself being presented with the entire works of Gilderoy Lockhart. Staggering slightly under their weight, he managed to make his way out of the limelight to the edge of the room, where Ginny was standing next to her new cauldron. "You have these," Harry mumbled to her, tipping the books into the cauldron. "I'll buy my own --" "Bet you loved that, didn't you Potter?" said a voice Harry had no trouble recognizing. He straightened up and found himself face-to-face with Draco Malfoy, who was wearing his usual sneer. "Famous Harry Potter" said Malfoy. "Can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page." "Leave him alone, he didn't want all that!" said Ginny. It was the first time she had spoken in front of Harry. She was glaring at Malfoy. "Potter, you've got yourself a girlfriend!" drawled Malfoy.

Chapter 7

"That's what yer little sister said," said Hagrid nodding at on. "Met her jus' yesterday." Hagrid looked sideways at Harry, his beard twiitching. "She said she was jus' looking around the grounds, but I reckon she was hopin' she might run inter someone else at my house." He winked at harry. "If yeh ask me, she wouldn't say no ter a signed-"
"Oh, shut up," said harry. Ron snorted with laughter and teh ground was sprayed with slugs.

Chapter 13

Hot all over at the thought of being given a valentine in front of a line of first years, which happened to include Ginny Weasley, Harry tried to escape. ..."I've got a musical message to deliver to 'Arry Potter in person" he said. ..."What's going on here?" came the cold, drawling voice of Draco Malfoy. ...desperate to get away before Malfoy could hear his musical valentine. ...Harry tired to make a run for it, but the dwarf seized him around the knees and brought him crashing to the floor. "Right, he said, sitting on Harry's ankles. "Here is your singing valentine: His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad. His hair is as dark as a blackboard. I wish he was mine, he's really divine, The hero who conquered the Dark Lord. ...Malfoy was looking furious, and as Ginny passed him to enter her classroom, he yelled spitefully after her, "I don't think Potter liked your valentine much!" Ginny covered her face with her hands and ran into class.

Chapter 17:

Ginny!" Harry muttered sprinting to her and dropping to his knees.  "Ginny--don't be dead--please don't be dead--"  He flung his wand aside, grabbed Ginny's shoulders and turned her over.... "Ginny, please wake up," Harry muttered desperately shaking her.

"The dairy," said Riddle. "My diary, little Ginny's been writing in it for months and months now, telling me ll her pityful worries and woes- how her bothers tease her, how she had to come to school with secondhand robes and books, how" -Riddle's eyes glinted- "how shr didn't think that famous, good, great Harry potter would ever like her..."

Then came a faint moan from the end of the Chamber. Ginny was stirring. As Harry hurried toward her, she sat up. Her bemused eyes traveled from the huge form of the dead basilisk, over Harry, in his blood-soaked robes, then to the diary in his hand. She drew a great, shuddering gasp and tears began to pour down her face. "Harry-oh Harry-I tried to tell you at b-breakfast, but I c-couldn't say it in front of Percy-it was me, Harry-but I-I s-swear I d-didn't mean to-R-Riddle made me, he t-took me over-and-how did you kill that-that thing? W-where's Ridde? The last thin I r-remember is him coming out of the diary-" "It's all right," said Harry, holding up the diary, and showing Ginny the fang hole, "Riddle's finished. Look! Him and the baslisk. C'mon, Ginny, let's get out of here-" "I'm going to be expelled!" Ginny wept as Harry helped her awkwardly to her feet.

"I'll explain when we're out of here," said Harry with a sideways glance at Ginny who was crying harder than ever. "But--" "Later," said Harry shortly. He didn't think it was a good idea to tell Ron yet, who'd been opening the Chamber, not in front of Ginny anyway

Chapter 18

...But then he faltered.  He had so far avoided mentioning Riddle's diary--or Ginny.  She was standing with her head against Mrs. Weasley's shoulder, tears were still coursing down her cheeks.  What if they expelled her? Harry thought in a panic.

The Prisoner of Azkabam-

Chapter 5

Ginny caught Harry's eye and they both turned away to hide their laughter as Percy strode over to a girl with long, curly hair, walking with his chest thrown out so that she couldn't miss his shiny badge.

Ginny. who was huddled in her corner looking nearly as bad as Harry felt, gave a small sob; Hermione went over and put a comforting arm around her. "But didn't anny of you-fall off your seats?" said Harry awkwardly. "No," said Ron, looking anxiously at Harry again. "Ginny was shaking like mad, though...."

Chapter 10

Ginny Weasley, blushing furiously, turned up with a "get well" card she had made herself, which sang shrilly unless Harry kept it shut under his bowl of fruit.

Goblet of Fire-

Chapter 22

"...He's going with Cho Chang." Ron looked up. "I asked her to go with me just now," Harry said dully.  " and she told me." Ginny had suddenly stopped smiling.

"Right," said Ron looking extremely put out, "this is getting stupid.  Ginny, you can go with Harry, and I'll just--" "I can't," said Ginny, and she went scarlet too.  "I'm going with--with Neville.  He asked me when Hermione said no, and I thought...well...I'm not going to be able to go otherwise, I'm not in the fourth year."  She looked extremely miserable.  "I think I'll go and have dinner," she said, and she got up and walked to the portrait hole, her head bowed. Ron goggled at Harry. "What's got into them?" he demanded. (LOL i love that line...Ron sounds like a guy complaing to his friend about thier wives lol)

Order of the Phoenix-

Chapter 4

The door opened, and a long mane of red hair appeared. "Oh, hello Harry!" said Ron's younger sister, Ginny, brightly. "I thought I heard your voice."

"I didn't ask- I didn't want- Voldemort killed my parents!" Harry spluttered. "I got famous because he murdered my family but couldn't kill me! Who wants to be famous for that? Don't they think I'd rather it'd never-" "We know, Harry," Ginny said earnestly.

Chapter 6

"I've ironed your best cloths for tomorrow morning, Harry, and I want you to wash your hair tonight too. A good first impression can work wonders." Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, and Ginny all stopped talking and looked over at him. Harry nodded and tried to keep eating his chops, but his mouth had become so dry he could not chew.

Chapter 10

From what he heard as he dressed at top speed, Harry gathered that Fred and George had bewitched their trunks to fly downstairs to save the bother of carrying them, with the result that they had hurtled straight into Ginny, and knocked her down two flights of stairs, into the hall; Mrs. Black and Mrs. Weasley were both screaming at the top of their voices.

"Mum and Dad have sent Hedwig back" - the owl fluttered obligingly over and perched on top of her cage - "are you ready yet?" "Nearly-is Ginny all right?" Harry asked, shoving on his glasses. "Mrs. Weasley's patched her up," said Hermione.

"Where's Hagrid?" he said out loud. "I don't know," said Ginny, "but we'd better get out of the way, we're blocking the door." "Oh yeah...." Harry and Ginny became separated as they moved off along the platform and through the station.

Chapter 16

"There are plenty of eyewitness accounts, just because you're so narrow-minded you need to have everything shoved under your nose before you-" "Hem, hem," said Ginny in such a good imitation of Professor Umbridge that several people looked round in alarm and then laughed. "Weren't we trying to decide how often we're going to meet and get defense lessons?" "Yes," said Hermione at once, "yes, we were, you're right...."

"But," said Ron, following Hermione along a row of quills in copper pots, "I thought Ginny fancied Harry!" Hermione looked at him rather pityingly and shook her head. "Ginny used to fancy Harry, but she gave up on him months ago. Not that she doesn't like you, of course," she added kindly to Harry while she examined a long, black-and-gold quill. Harry, whose mind was still full of Cho's parting wave, did not find this subject quite as interesting as Ron, who was positively quivering with indignation, but it did bring something home to him that until now he had not really registered. "So that's why she talks now?" he asked Hermione. "She never used to talk in front of me." "Exactly," said Hermione.

Chapter 17

"I'll tell Michael," said Ginny impatiently, swinging herself off her bench. "The fool, honestly..." She hurried off toward the Ravenclaw table; Harry watched her go.

Chapter 22

Fred, George, and Ginny were ushered inside by Professor McGonagall, all three of them looking disheveled and shocked, still in their night things. "Harry-what's going on?" asked Ginny, who looked frightened. "Professor McGonagall says you saw Dad hurt-" "Your father has been injured in the course of his work for the Order of the Phoenix," said Dumbledore before Harry could speak.

Ginny was curled like a cat on her chair, but her eyes were open; Harry could see them reflecting the firelight.

Chapter 23

"Yeah?" growled Harry, his hands deep in his pockets as he watched the snow now falling thickly outside. "All been talking about me, have you? Well, I'm getting used to...." "We wanted to talk to you, Harry," said Ginny "but as you've been hiding ever since we got back-" "I didn't want anyone to talk to me," said Harry, who was feeling more and more nettled. "Well, that was a bit stupid of you," said Ginny angrily, "seeing as you don't know anyone but me who's been possessed by You-Know-Who, and I can tell you how it feels." Harry remained quite still as the impact of these words hit him. Then he wheeled around. "I forgot," he said. "Lucky you," said Ginny coolly. "I'm sorry," Harry said, and he meant it. "So...so do you think I'm being possessed, then?" "Well, can you remember everything you've been doing?" Ginny asked. "Are there big blank periods where you don't know what you've been up to?" Harry racked his brains. "No," he said. "Then You-Know-Who hasn't ever possessed you," said Ginny simply. "When he did it to me, I couldn't remember what I'd been doing for hours at a time. I'd find myself somewhere and not know how I got there." Harry hardly dared believe her, yet his heart was lightening almost in spite of himself.

"Well, hello there!" he said. "I expect you'd like my autograph, would you?" "Hasn't changed much, has he?" Harry muttered to Ginny, who grinned.

Chapter 25

The miracle was that Gryffindor only lost by ten points: Ginny managed to snatch the Snitch from right under Hufflepuff Seeker Summberby's nose, so that the final score was two hundred and forty versus two hundred and thirty. "Good catch," Harry told Ginny back in the common room, where the atmosphere closely resembled that of a particularly dismal funeral. "I was lucky," she shrugged. "It wasn't a very fast Snitch and Summerby's got a cold, he sneezed and closed his eyes at exactly the wrong moment. Anyway, once you're back on the team-" "Ginny, I've got a lifelong ban." "You're banned as long as Umbridge is in the school," Ginny corrected him. "There's a difference. Anyway, once you're back, I think I'll try out for Chaser. Angelina and Alicia are both leaving next year and I prefer goal-scoring to Seeking anyway." Harry looked over at Ron, who was hunched in the corner, staring at his knees, a bottle of butterbeer clutched in his hand. "Angelina still won't let him resign," Ginny said, as though reading Harry's mind. "She says she knows he's got it in him."

Chapter 29

"Harry, I'm talking to you, can you hear me?" "Huh?" He looked around. Ginny Weasley, looking very windswept, had joined him at the library table where Harry had been sitting alone. It was late on Sunday evening: Hermione had gone back to Gryffindor Tower to review Ancient Runes; Ron had Quidditch practice. "Oh hi," said Harry, pulling his books back toward him. "How come you're not at practice?" "It's over," said Ginny. "Ron had to take a Jack Sloper up to the hospital wing." "Why?" "Well, we're not sure, but we think he knocked himself out with his own bat." She sighed heavily. "Anyway....a package just arrived, it's only just got through Umbridge's new screening process...." She hoisted a box wrapped in brown paper onto the table; it had clearly been unwrapped and carelessly rewrapped, and there was a scribbled not on across itin red ink, reading INSPECTED AND PASED BY THE HOGWARTS HIGH INQUISITOR. "It's Easter eggs from Mum," said Ginny. "There's one for you....There you go...." She handed him a handsome chocolate egg decorated with small, iced Snitches and, according to the packaging, containing a bag of Fizzing Wizbees. Harry looked at it for a moment, then, to his horror, felt a hard lump rise in his throat. "Are you okay, Harry?" asked Ginny quietly. "Yeah, I'm fine," said Harry gruffly. The lump in his throat was painful. He did not understand why an Easter egg should have mad him feel like this. "You seem really down lately," Ginny persisted. "You know, I'm sure if you just talked to Cho..." "It's not Cho I want to talk to," said Harry brushely. "Who is it, then?" asked Ginny, watching him closely. "I...." He glanced around to make quite sure that nobody was listening; Madam Pince was several shelves away, stamping out a pile of books for a frantic-looking Hannah Abbott. "I wish I could talk to Sirius," he muttered. "But I know I can't." Ginny continued to watch him thoughtfully. More to give himself something to do than because he really wanted any, Harry unwrapped his Easter egg, broke off a large bit and put it into his mouth. "Well," said Ginny slowly, helping herself to a bit of egg too, "if you really want to talk to Sirius, I expect we could think of a way to do it...." "Come on," said Harry dully. "With Umbridge policing the fires and reading all our mail?" "The thing about growing up with Fred and George," said Ginny thoughtfully, "is that you sort of start thinking that anything's possible if you've got the nerve." Harry looked at her. Perhaps it was the effect of the chocolate-Lupin had always advised eating some after encounters with dementors-or simply because he had finally spoken aloud the wish that had been burning inside him for a week, but he felt a bit more hopeful...." "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" "Oh damn,' whispered Ginny, jumping to her feet. "I forgot-" Madam Pince was swooping down upon them, her shriveled face contorted with rage. "Chocolate in the library!" she screamed. "Out-out-OUT!" and whipping out her wand, she caused Harry's books, bag, and ink bottle to chase him and Ginny from the library, whacking them repeatedly over the head a they ran.

Chapter 32

The classroom door opened. Harry, Ron, and Hermione whipped around. Ginny walked in, looking curious, closely followed by Luna, who as usual looked as though she had drifted in accidentally. "Hi," said Ginny uncertainly. "We recognized Harry's voice-what are you yelling about?" "Never you mind," said Harry roughly. Ginny raised her eyebrows. "There's no need to take that tone with me," she said coolly. "I was only wondering whether I could help." "Well, you can't," said Harry shortly.

Chapter 34

"What was that about?" whispered Ron fearfully. "I think it was to stop us knowing which door we came from," said ginny in a hushed voice. Harry realized at once that she was right: He could no sooner have picked the exit from the other doors than located an ant upon the jetblack floor.

"Keep going!" said Harry sharply, because Ginny showed signs of wanting to stop and watch the egg's progress back into a bird. "You dawdled enough by that old arch!" she said crossly, but followed him past the bell jar to the only door behind it.

Chapter 35

"You need more persuasion?" she said, her chest rising and falling rapidly. "Very well-take the smallest one," she ordered the Death Eaters beside her. "Let him watch while we torture the little girl. I'll do it." Harry felt the others close in around Ginny. He stepped sideways so that he was right in front of her, the prophecy held up to his chest. "You'll have to smash this if you want to attack any of us," he told Bellatrix.

"Ginny?" Harry said fearfully. "What happened?" But Ginny shook her head and slid down the wall into a sitting position, panting and holding her ankle. "I think yer ankle's broken, I heard something crack," whispered Luna, who was bending over her and who seemed to be unhurt.

"We've got to get out of here," said Harry firmly. "Luna, can you help Ginny?" "Yes," said Luna, sticking her wand behind her ear for safekeeping, putting an arm around Ginny's waist and pulling her up. "It's opnly my ankle, I can do it myself!" said Ginny impatiently, but next moment she had collapsed sideways and grabbed luna for support.

Chapter 38

"He got a very good price for it too, so we're going to go on an expedition to Sweden this summer and see if we can catch a Cumblpe-Horned Snorkack." Hermione seemed to struggle with herself for a momemnt, then said, "That sounds lovely." "Ginny caught Harry's eye and looked away quickly, grinning.

"Who's she with now anyway?" Ron asked Hermione, but it was Ginny who answered. "Michael Corner," she said. "Michael-but-" said Ron, craning around in his seat to stare at her. "But you were going out with him!" "Not anymore," said Ginny resolutely. "He didn't like Gryffindor beating Ravenclaw at Quidditch and got reallly sukly, so I ditched him and he ran off to comfort Cho instead." She scratched her nose absently with the end of her quill, turned The Quibbler upside down and began marking her answers. Ron looked highly delighted. "Well, I always thought he was a bit of an idiot," he said, prodding his queen forward toward Harry's quivering castle. "Good for you. Just choose someone-better-next time." He cast Harry and oddly furtive look as he said it. "Well, I've chosen Dean Thomas, would you say he's better?" asked Ginny vaguely. "WHAT?" shouted Ron, upending the chessboard.

The Half-Blood Prince

Chapter 7

He supposed Ron & Hermione were cloistered in the prefect's carridge, but Ginny was a little way along the corridor, chatting to some friends. Hr made his way towards her, dragging his trunks...he tapped inny on the shoulder. "Fancy trying to find a compartment?" "i can't, Harry, I said I'd meet Dean," said Ginny brightly. "See you later." "Riight," said Harry. He felt a strange twinge of annoyance as she walked away, he long red hair dancing behind her; he had become so used to her presance over the summer that he had almost forgotten that Ginny did not hang around with him, Ron, and Hermione while at school.

Chapter 9

"Hang on," said a voice close by Harry's left ear abd he caught a sudden waft of that flowery smell that he had picked up in Slughorn's dungeon. He looked around and saw that Ginny had joined them. "Did I hear right? You've been taking orders from something someone wrot ein a book, Harry?" She looked alarmed and angry. harry knew what was on her mind at once. "It's nothing like," he said reassuringly, loweing his voice. "it's not like, you know, Riddle's Diary. It's juts on old textbook someone's scribbled on." "But you're doing what it says?" "I just tried a few of the tips written in the margin, honestly, Ginny, there's nothing funny..." "Ginny's got a point," said Hermione, perking up at once.

Chapter 11

Momentairly stymied, Harry watched Ginny Weasley playing with arnold the Pygym for a while before seesing a way around this objection..

Chapter 12

"Hey Harry, I'm suppose to give you this." It was a scroll of parchment with Harry's name wriiten upon it in familiar thin, slanting writing." Thanks Ginnu...It's Dumbledore's next lesson!" Harry told Ron and Hermione, pulling open the parcthment and quickly reading it's contents. "Monday evening!" He felt suddenly light and happy. "Want to join us in Hogsmeade, Ginny?" he asked.

Harry's thoughs strayed to Ginny as they trudged up the road to Hogwarts through the frozen slush. They had not met up wtith her, undoubtedley, thought Harry,, beacsue she and Dean were cozily closeted in Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop, that haunt happy couples. Scowling, he bowed his head against the swirling sleet and trudged on.

Chapter 14

"I can fix that," said harry, landing beside the two girls, pointing his wand at Demelza's mouth, and sayinf "Episkey". "And Ginny don't call Ron a prat, you're not the captain of the team..." " Well, you seemed too busy to call him a prat and I though someone should..." Harry forced himself not to laugh.

When Harry pushed open the tapestry t take their usual shortcut up tp Gryffindor tower, howerever, they found themselves looking at Dean and Ginny, who were locked in a close embrace and kissing fiercely as though glued together. It was as though something large and scaly erupted into life in Harry's stomach, clawing at his insides: Hot blood seemed to flood his brain, so that all though was extinguished, replaced by a savage urge to jinx Dean into jelly. Wrestling with this sudden madness, he heard Ron's voice as though from a great distance away.

Harry hardly noticed the sound of shattering glass; he felt disoriented, dizzy; being struck by lighting bolt must be something like this. 'It's just because she's ron's sister,' he told himself. You just didn't like seeing her kissing Dean because she's Ron's sister... But unbidden into his mind came an image of that same deserted corridor with himself kissing Ginny instead...the monster in his chest purred...but then he saw Ron ripping open the tapestry curtain and drawing his wnad on Harry, shoutimg things like "betryal of trust"..."suppose to be my friend"...

Harry lay awake for a long time , looking up at the canopy of his four-poster and trying to convince himself that his feelings for Ginny were enterily elder-brither. They had lived, had they not, like brother and sisiter all summer, playing Quidditch, teasing Ron, and having a laugh about Bill and Phlegm? H ehad known Ginny for years now...it was natural that he should feel protective...natural that he should want ti look out for her...want to rip Dean limb from limb for kissing her...No...he would have to control that paticular feeling...

She's Ron's sister, Harry told himself firmly. Ron's sister. She's out of bounds. He would not risk his friendship with Ron for anything. He punched his pillow into a more comfortable shape and wiated for sleep to come, trying his utmost not to allow his thoughts to stray anywhere near Ginny.

Harry heard Ginny saying blithely to an irate Proffessor McGonagall, "Forgot to brake, Professoor, sorry." Laughing, Hary broke free of the rest of the team and hugged Ginny, but let go quickly. Avoiding her gaze, he claped a cheering Ron on the back instead as, all enmity forgotten, the Gryffindor team left the pitch arm in arm, punching the air and waving to their supporters.

"But I suppose he's got to refine his tecnique somehow. Good game, Harry." She patted him on the arm; Harry felt like a swooping sensation in his stomach, but then she walked off to help herself to more butterbeer.

Chapter 15

"There isn't anyone I want to invitem" mumbled Harrtm who was still trying not to think about Ginny any more that he could help, despite the fact that she kept cropping up in his dreams in ways that made him devoutly thankful that Ron could bot perform Legilimency.

"Don't call her that, Ron," snapped Ginny, pausing behind Harry on her way to join her friends. "I'm really glad you're taking her, Harry, she's so exctied." And she moved on down the table to sit with Dean. Harry tried to feel pleased that Ginny was glad he was taking Luna to the party but could not quite manage it.

Chapter 16

"Harry, you've got a maggot in your hair," said Ginny cheerfully, leaning across the table to pick it out; Harry felt goose bumps erupt up his neck that had nothing to do with the maggot..

Chapter 19

"Ginny came in to visit while you were unconscious," he said, after a long pause, and Harry's imagination zoomed into overdrive, rapidly constructing a scene in which Ginny, weeping over his lifeless form, confessed her feelings of deep attrction while Ron gave them his blessing...

Chapter 20

Hermione even escorted them down to breakfast, bringing with her the news that Ginny had argued with Dean. The drwosing creature in Harry's chest suddenly raised it's head, sniffing the air hopefully. "What did the row about?" he asked, trying to sound casual as they turned onto the seventh-floor corridor that was deserted but for a very small girl....

"Never mind her," said Harry a little impatiently, "What did Ginny & Dean row about, Hermione?" "Oh, Dean was laughing about Mclaggen hitting that bludger at you," said Hermione.

"Yeah, well, there was no need for Ginny and Dean to split up over it," said Harry, still trying to sound Casual. "Or are they still together?" "Yea, they are...but why are you so interested?" asked Hermione, giving harry a sharp look. "I just don't want my Quidditch team messed up again!" he said hasilty, but Hermione continued to look suspicious , and he was most releived when a voive behind them called, "Harry!" giving him an excuse to turn his back on her.

Chapter 22

Harry did not answer. The thought of that little golden bottle had hovered on the edges of his imagination for some time; vague and unformulated plans taht involved Ginny splititing with Dean, and Ron somehoe being happy to see her with a new boyfriend, had been fermenting in the depths of his brain, unacknowledge except during dreams or the twlight time between sleeping and waking...

Chapter 24

"Coward," said Hermiome, though she looked amused. "Well, it was a bad night for romance all around. Ginny and Dean split up too, Harry." Harry thought there was a rather knowing look in her eyes as she told him, but she could not possibly know that his insides were suddenlyy dancing the conga. Keeping his face as immobile and his voice as indifferent as he could, he asked, "How come?"

She's ron sister. But she ditched Dean! She's still Ron's sister. I'm his best mate! That'll make it worse. If i talked to him first- He'd hit you. What if i don't care? He's your best mate!

Ginny did not seem at all upset about the breakup with Dean; on the contrary, she was the life and soul of the team. Her imitations of Ron anxiously bobbing up and down in front of the goal posts as the Quaffle sped toward him, or of Harry bellowing orders at McLaggen before beinf knocked out cold, kept them a;; highly amused. Harry, laughing with the others, was glad to have an innocent reason to look at Ginny; he had received several more Bludger injuries during practce because he had not been keeping his eyes on the Snitch.

The Battle still raged inside his head: Ginny or Ron?

Yet Harry could not helo himself talking to Ginny, laughing with her, walking back from practice with her, however much his conscience ached, he found himself wondering how best to get her on her own.

Harry found himself longining for a struck of luck that would somehoe cause Ron to realize that nothing would make him happier than his best friend and his sister falling for each other and to leavethem alone together for longer than a few seconds.

"Give it a rest Hermione!" said Ginny, and Harry was so amazed, so grateful, he looke dup. "y the soundof it, Malfoy was trying to use an unforgiveable curse, you should be glad Harry had something good up his sleeve."

Harry looked around; there was Ginny running toward him; she had a hard, blazing look in her face as she threw her arms around him. And without thinking, without planning it, without worrying about the fact that fifty people were watching, Harry kissed her. After several long moments- or it might have been half an hour- or possibly several sunlit days- they broke apart.

The creature in his chest roraing in triumph, h egrinned down at Ginny and gestured wordlesssly out of the portrait hold. A long walk in the grounds seemed indicated, during which- if the had time- they might discuss the match.

Chapter 25

The fact that Harry Potter was going out with Ginny weasley seemed to interest a great number of people, most of them girls..

"Three dementor attacks in a week, and all Romilda Vane does is ask me if it's true you've got a hipogriff tattooed across your chest." "What did you tell her?" "I told her it's a Hungarian Horntail," siad Ginny, tuning a apage of the newspaper idly. "Much more Macho." "Thanks," said Harry, grinning.

Chapter 29

Then another voice said, "Harry, come one." A much smaller and warmer hand had enclosed his and was pulling him upward. Hey obyed it's pressure witjout really thinking about it. Only as he walked blindly back through the crowd did he realize, drom a trace of flowery scent on the iar, that it was Ginny who was leading him back into the castle.

Chapter 30

"She's not that bad," said Harry. "Ugly, though," he added hasilty, as Ginny raised her eyebrows, and she let out a reluctant giggle.

"I'm going to bed," yawned Ginny. "I haven't been sleeping that well since...well...I could do with some sleep." She kissed Harry (Ron looked awat pointedly), waved at the other two, and departed for the girls dormoitories.

Hermione's face was glazed with teras, but Ginny was no longer crying. She met Harry's gaze with the same hard, blazing look that he had seen when she had hugged him after winning the Qudditch Cup in his absence, an dhe kknew that at the moment they understood each other perfectly, and that when he told her what he was going to do now, she woulnd not say, "Be careful," or "Don't do it," but accept his descion, beceause she would not expect anything less of him.

"Ginny, listen..." he said very quietly, as the buzz o conversation grew louder around them and people began to get to thier feet, "I can't be involved with you anymore. We've got to stop seeing each other. We can't be together." She said. with an oddly twisted smile, "It's for some stupid. noble reason, isn't it?" "It's been like...like something out of someine else's life, these last few weeks with you," said Harry. "But I can't...we can't...I've got things to do alone know." She did not cry, she simply looked at him. "Voldemort uses people his enemies are close to. He's already used you as bait once, and that was just because you're my best friends sister. Think how much danger you'll be in if we keep this up. He'll know, he'll find our. He'll try and get me through you." "What if i don't care?" said Ginny fiercely. "I care," said Harry. "How do you think I'd feel if this was your funeral...and it was my fault..."She looked away from him, over the lake.

"I never really gave up on you," she said. "Not really. I always hoped...Hermione told me to get on with life, maybe go out with some other people. relax a bit aound you, becaise I never used to be able to talk if you were in the room, remember?" And she thought you might take a bit more notice if I was a bit more- myself." "Smart girl that Hermione," said Harry, trying to smile. "I just wish I'd asked you sooner. We could've had ages...months...years maybe..."

"But you've been too busy saving the Wizarding world," said Ginny, half laughing. "Well...I can't say I'm surprised. I knew this would happen in the end. I knew you wouldn' be happy unless you were hunting Voldemort. Maybe that's why I like you so much." Harry could not bear to hear these things, nor did he think his resolution would hold if he remained sitting besides her....With a miserable gesture, Harry got up, turned his back on Ginny and on Dumbledore's tomb, and walked away around the lake..

Movies

Chamber of Secrets- Well I think the hints for this movie are obvious. From the moment Ginny saw Harry at her house it was obvious to the audience she had a crush on the hero ^^ Of course Harry being a guy is clueless about it. Anyway, Ginny was just very shy around Harry in this movie and looked at him and normal crush stuff. On Harry's part he went and rescued her when she got taken by Voldy ^^ So just typical guy saves girl he loves stuff hehe...even though at the time he doesn't know he loves her lol.

Goblet of Fire- Not much really, But they they did start putting her face in the movie a lot. She was everywhere, it was realy nice to see her around. Also there were some HG moments that made sooo happy ^^

The First was when they were at the tornament. They sat next to each other and laughed, and gave each others small looks...I was dying of cuteness.

The second was when they were in the tent after the game was over. The boys were making fun of Ron and Ginny told him she though he was in love. Harry gave her a sweet look when she said it ^^ I think that was all but yup, the HG is coming so mwhahahah...HHr's...beware and be afraid!

:_: the sadness of it all no? Honestly even though it eneded like this, I have not lost hope for this ship. Why? You may ask, well Ginny said that she never gave up on him so what makes anyone believe she will now? I beieve that Ginny will be waiting for Harry when he comes back (whether alive or dead) from deafeating Voldy. Also you have too see that Harry would have falter if he had stayed close to Ginny...which is why he turned away from her and walked away. And some people out there (H/Hr shippers) are probably happy that Harry 'dumped' Ginny...but he didn't really 'dump' her. He 'let her go', and these IS a difference. Dump would mean he would no longer want her, basicaly what Ron wanted to do to Lavender. Harry let Ginny 'go', not because he wanted to, but because he knew he had to. If he hadn't he knew that Voldemort might use her to get to him...he let her go for her safety because he CARED! And to people who think that Ginny slipped him a Love potion...all I have to say is...*laughs hystiraccly*...Ok I'm done. Harry & Ginny 4EVER!

Draco & Pansy

AWWW I love these two! So evil, mean and probably spoiled. I think Draco and Pansy can be considered a cannon pairing. Their together a lot in the books just making fun of Harry and they even went to the ball together ^_^ Plus, Harry has Ginny and Hermione WILL get with Ron so that leaves cute lil Draco by himself, who better to fall for then a girl who's in his house, and who probably sees him as a god ^_^

AWWWWW, these two would just be great. They were made for each other lol. They're both prefects, both thier dads are death eaters, they're both in slytherin. They have similar attitudes, for sure Pansy likes him cause come one she CRIED for him and she worried about him after, and she laughs at his jokes. As for Draco, we're not sure of how he feels about her but he probably at least likes her a little. I mean he took her to the dance and she seems to hang out with him a lot and he doesn't seem to mine. These two are a couple made in sweet hell and hopefully we'll see more of the together in the next to books, if not, well lets say i'm thankful for fanfiction ^_^
