Named after ace pilot Viola's codename, The Storm Sworder, this Republican built Zoid is master of the sky. Far superior to the Redlers and Pteras that were then mass produced, the Storm Sworder featured a heavy arsenal, topped only by the Salamander. Equipped with two retractable laser cutters on it's wings and head, heavy damage dealing 40mm wing mounted cannons, and highly manveuerable even at supersonic speeds, the Storm Sworder proved to much for the Imperial Air Force, as even the mighty Black Redler dropped in it's wake. And as with most Zoids, it's greatest power is also it's greatest weakness. Pilots often pass out from the extreme G-forces generated by it's extreme speed. Also, if even just one of it's engines are taken out or malfunction during high-speeds, the Storm Sworder's body frame with either implode from the sudden drop in pressure and speed, or it will just fall to the earth as fast as a meteor. Either way the pilot and Zoid are destroyed. All perils aside, the Storm Sworder is a great Zoid able to be customized to fit different missions, and another varition exists, the Storm Sworder Triple S.
