When the first Pteras were rolling off the production lines, the deadly Reddras were dominating the skys. After the fall off the Zenebas Empire, the Guylos Empire built upon the the old Dragon types, producing the Reddler. Much slower then the Reddra, the Reddler was easier to produce and maintain. It still retained the tail spike as it's only weapon, because anymore would lower it's speed. But with the rise of the Ptera Striker and Pteras Bomber quickly put the Reddler back on the drawing board. After months of labor, Imperial scientists created the Black Reddler. With more powerful engines, the Black Reddler quickly regained control of the skys. That is, until the Strom Sworder was created.
