The tall figure stood looking into the mirror in its hands. It held it up to its face, an image of a Blonde young man appeared. Next was a silver haired young man, the Mirror made another young man appear the young boy had long red hair that went past his shoulders and even past his hips. The tall figure licked its lips hungrily. The mirror made the three pictures disappear and one big image appear, it was of another young boy, his black and red hair unfettered his red eyes, his wings hidden tightly to his back. His ears twitched. “yes…so perfect…every single detail…every single one of them…perfect…” the sultry voice spoke to himself. His long black hair stood on end as he looked at the images over and over. His Black striped ears twitched as a sound of footsteps came. He quickly hid the mirror. A little girl came in, moving her long furred tail back and forth. “Aruko…what are you doing in here?” her chipper voice echoed in the empty room. Aruko looked up to her in pure hated. “Nothing you’d be interested in whelp,” He answered gruffly.
“Fine…you half breed” her chipper voice turned to an angry tone.
Aruko ignored her empty threat. “Leave…now…” he commanded, as his little sister was closing the door with a slam.
“Stupid….whelp….” Aruko took the mirror out of hiding. “When I find you…I’ll be happy…” He smiled as the mirror again played the images of the four boys.

Chapter 2 All grown up and changed

“Malady”

“Malady”
…What?
“Malady…its time to get up, the planet Liloki is asking for your password.
The blue and red haired Catarl opened her red eyes, looking to the ceiling. “Oh must I?!”
“Yes malady...or we will we shot upon”
“Why didn’t you wake Soto up?!” Kitty Shot defensively.
“Soto is no longer with us malady”
Kitty looked around. “Oh. …Yeah…I forgot…he’s gone off with Chris somewhere”
*Thinks*
“Asuso would not wake up…he wouldn’t even move a finger”
Kitty smiled. “That’s Asuso…”
“Shall I give the planet out password or say were just coming through?”
“yes…I want to be alone…no planets…not yet” Kitty said softly, her hair covering one eye.
She slowly walked into Asuso’s dark room, she tip toed over to him and knelt beside his bed. “My Asuso…Please…never leave me…” she whispered in his black ear and moved some of his black and red hair out of his face.
Asuso’s eyes shot open and grabbed Kitty’s hand away from his face, he tightly grabbed her wrist, then noticed it was her and quickly released. “Kitty…its only you…I had this weird dream…their was a guy and he-“ Asuso started but Kitty had laid her lips atop of his.
“Say no more Asuso…it was only a dream...”
But…he had this...mirror…and it had me and Soto and Chris and Kuro in it!”
Kitty smiled. “Sounds very odd” she said as walking out.
Asuso followed “No really I swear it was soo real!!!!!”
“I’m very sure it was” Kitty said grabbing and brush.
“And he said we were all perfect for him…” Asuso sat in front of Kitty and allowed her to brush his hair.
“That’s very interesting” Kitty lifted his long ears and brushed under them.
Asuso grabbed her wrist. “I’m telling you…it was more than a dream, it was a vision”
Kitty reassuringly pecked his lips. “Don’t worry…nothing will happen to you...I promise “
Asuso looked positively at Kitty, showing her his confidence in her promise.
“C’mon lets go eat” Kitty said finishing his hair after being released by Asuso.

Chapter 3 Kitty is never jealous
Kitty cleansed the dishes and put them in the wash, while listening to Asuso talk about his dream more.
“You got a call yesterday…” Kitty said looking through her hair which had fallen over her face.
“From who?!” Asuso asked running to the computer so he could call the person back.
“That violet haired girl, she wanted to see you real bad, she left a message”
“Computer please play message.”
The computer pulled up a video, it played it:
“Hi Asuso, its me Sahara, your sister told me you weren’t home thought I know you are, anyways I was wondering if you were doing anything this Saturday, since all I know you do is sit on that ship doing nothing, I was hoping you could come to the Black gem festival with me, well video me back”
Asuso smiled and looked to Kitty, his smile quickly faded.
Kitty Glared.
“What?!” He said as if Kitty were drilling a hole in his body.
Kitty growled and looked at the screen to Sahara, and then back to Asuso. She turned and went into her room, slamming the door behind her.
Asuso stood, unable to sink in what had just occurred till it hit him on the head, Kitty was jealous of Sahara!
He slowly walked into her room, seeing her at her window looking into the starred sky. “Hey…are you alright?” Asuso asked.
Kitty ignored him, still looking out the window. Her ears had grow in immense size, she let them droop.
“Kitty…please don’t be angry…” Asuso said wrapping his arms around her thin waist, placing his on her shoulder.
Kitty sighed. “I’m not angry at you, just…worried” Kitty looked as Asuso, her eyes softening.
“worried about what” Asuso questioned.
“Worried that you’ll leave me” kitty Said looking at the ground.
“Don’t worry, I wont ever leave you” Asuso nudged her nose with his.
Kitty smiled.
Later that night…………….
Asuso kicked his sheets off. He breathed deeply and gripped the mattress.
*In his dream *
Asuso stood above the silver haired Runouryu , licking his lips.
Chris’s slim figure was no problem for Asuso to pick up. He picked Chris up and led him into the living room of the Twilight demon. He tossed the Runouryu onto the couch.
Chris softly smiled. Asuso slowly crawled atop in Chris kissing his way up, he stopped near Chris’s thighs. He looked up at him. Chris had his eyes closed.
“We must rid all Obstacles” Asuso tugged his pants, pulling them off his legs, Chris’s length laid before him. Asuso’s eyes widened in awe.
He gently licked the tip, enjoying the sweetness of it.
He listened to the intense breathing of the runouryu, he liked it, it gave him more adrenaline.
He grasped the Runouryu’s length is his hand, feeling the warmth on his hands.
“So soft” Asuso whispered.
He inched closer to it, then he felt a warm whiteness spread over him he opened his eyes and saw Kitty, sleeping across from him. He growled.

Chapter 4 Meetings

Asuso sat up, the dream had kept him occupied and now that it was interrupted by his sister, he couldn’t fall back asleep. Lazily he got up from the bed, so quietly that Kitty remained in her slumber as he slipped out of the door. It was late at night and all that lit the rest of the ship was the moonlight that had squeezed through the blinds on the windows. He sat down near the door, staring at it as if expecting someone. Soon there was a light knock at the door, which slightly startled the Catarl, causing him to flinch slightly.

When no one answered the door a familiar voice gently called out, “Asuso?...Kitty?”

Asuso froze for a bit recognizing the voice, “...Chris?” he whispered, way too low for anyone to hear. He quickly sprung up to his feet, smiling while fixing his hair and pajamas quickly.

Another voice accompanied the runouryu’s, “Anyone there?”

Asuso’s smile slightly faded, hoping the runouryu was alone, “I’m coming. One second.”

The Catarl made his way to the door, opening it silently, only to see Chris and Soto. One of the dark angel’s hands resting on Chris’s right shoulder as the smiled happily toward him.

Asuso smiled back, giving the two a slight hug, “Hey guys where have you been? It’s nice to see you two again.”

Soto smiled back, “It’s nice to see you too, we got lost in an astounding amount of towns and it took us a long time to find you guys again.”

Asuso nodded, “Well what about the others? Have you seen them?”

“Well they just called us about six hours ago, so they should be here soon. They got lost as well.” Chris explained.

Asuso paused, “Everyone else is together? Lara, Jess, Aelia, and Kuro?”

Soto nodded in response.

Asuso began to ponder about what these two did while they were alone, knowing what type of effect the runouryu has on certain people. But he nodded anyway, motioning for the two friends to enter the room, as they obliged. It didn’t take long before Kitty walked into the room, after hearing the three guys talking to each other. She was quick to pounce upon Soto and Chris, thrilled to see them again. Their reunion was short as another knock came at the door.

“Guys? Hey open the door?” Came Jess’s voice from the other side.

Kitty ran to open the door, nearly tackling the panther when she saw her beaming, “Jess! Your back!”

Lara, Aelia and Kuro turned the embrace into a group hug as they gathered around the Catarl hugging her as well. Soto, Chris, and Asuso watched from a distance as the group of laughing cats finally walked inside.

Kuro quickly made himself comfortable on the couch, stretching out his thin form across the cushions, “So nice to be back here!”

“Tell me about it.” Lara added, laying in the middle of the floor on her back.

“This calls for a celebration!” Aelia chirped, flicking her red hair behind her shoulders.

“I agree!” Soto stated, still standing.

“It’s settled then! We can rent another expensive hotel in the city again! I’m sure we’ll have as much fun as we did last time!” Kitty informed, already setting the coordinates for the city before anyone could respond.

Her statement was rewarded with cries of glee as the members of the Twilight Demon finally rejoiced about their reunion. Even though it was mere months that they were separated it felt like years. The friends had all they wanted now that they were all together again, and they all knew they would do everything they could to stay together. They would never let each other be separated again...

Chapter 5 Destiny Interrupted

Kitty quickly got the coordinates for a well known and expensive hotel, and within the next hour all eight friends checked into the hotel, unloading their stuff for a nights rest.

Aelia bounced on one of the huge fluffy beds, “I love this place, the beds are so cozy.”

Kitty, who changed into more comfortable clothing nodded in agreement, “This is the best hotel I’ve been to.”

Soto playfully poked Asuso, “Remember when we played football.”
The Catarl grumbled, “Yea you guys won.”

Kuro pouted, “Lets not do that again.” he mumbled glancing at Lara.

The puma chuckled, “Hey that fireball was not pointed at you. Sorry Kuro.”

Kuro nodded smiling, “It’s fine, I know it was an accident. Just don’t shoot fire anymore around me.”

Lara nodded smiling happily.

Jess playfully hopped onto her feet, “Lets get going guys, we have to have fun together don’t we?”

Chris nodded, “We should get out and do something. We can just walk around the city again like we did last time.”

Kitty bounced onto her feet, “Lets go to the roof top since it’s dark, we can gaze at the stars and chat a bit.”

Lara nodded, “That sounds nice. There’s a full moon tonight.”

The group finally up on the rooftop, sitting down on a blanket supplied by Aelia. The girls were sprawled out on the comforter, however the guys sat up as they all stared at the sky in wonder as the moonlight poured onto their rest site.

“The stars are always so bright whenever we come here.” Kitty stated letting out a sigh of satisfaction.

“Lets not get separated again for a long time. I almost forgot how nice it was to be around everyone.” Kuro stated, sitting cross-legged with a content smile on his face, his bright green eyes staring at the sky.

Aelia nodded, “It really has been too long that the Twilight Demon was separated from each other. Lets not let that happen.”

The group smiled, a silent declaration to each other. They all knew they wouldn’t allow themselves to be split again, not if they had something to say about it.

The group didn’t realize it but they stayed on the roof top for a long while, still staring at the twinkling sky and speaking of their adventures they endured. Nearly two hours had gone by when Jess’s ears twitched, hearing an unfamiliar sound from behind her.

“Hey did you guys hear that?” The panther asked, sitting up.

Asuso shook his head, “I didn’t hear anything.”

The same sound came again from behind them, it was almost like a gust of wind but it was different.

Chris looked in the direction of the sound as well, “Something’s not right...” The runouryu rubbed his arms, feeling his skin tingling. Every time there was magic around that he didn’t know about, his skin would always tingle for some reason.

Soto stood, “It’s coming from the other side of the roof...” flexing his wings he silently took to the air, flying over the whole roof, his gray eyes scanning the rooftop. He glanced back over to the group, shaking his head signaling that he found nothing.

Kuro stood up as well looking around as the strange wind passed them again, “What’s going on?”

The rest of the group stood as well, looking around in question.

“Maybe we should get back to the hotel room, it doesn’t seem safe here.” Aelia muttered while looking around.

“Yea she’s probably right,” Soto agreed, landing next to the others, “It doesn’t seem right being here. Lets go.”

The rest nodded, not about to question the decision. The quickly gathered their stuff, and the blanket, but before they could reach the door a lightning like crackle echoed throughout the sky. Looking up the barely had time to react before an elemental whip cracked down on the roof top, right between the group. Surprisingly from the shock all four guys were sent flying off of the roof, while the girls were thrown in the opposite direction, landing roughly on the next rooftop.

Asuso finally recovered from the lighting shock that he got from the whip’s impact, stretching out his wings to stop his fall. He soon noticed Soto beside him diving after Kuro who was falling faster than the winged demons. He also heard Chris’s voice above him:

“Shitai!”, Asuso looked back up seeing Chris with all four wings extended. After Soto caught Kuro softly in his arms they all flew onto another roof top.

“Where are the girls?!” Kuro asked franticly, hoping out of Soto’s arms while looking at his older companions.

“They were thrown off the roof as well, I hope they landed safely!” Asuso responded, trying to reorient himself while glancing around himself.

“Where are we?! We need to get back to them!” Chris stated, trying to find their hotel where they got attacked.

“I’m afraid I cannot let you see your companions for a long while.” A rather sultry and demanding voice cooed, hovering above them menacingly with a grin spread about their face.

Lara shook her head, staggering back onto her feet, after landing hard on her back. Looking around she noticed Jess getting up too, rubbing her head while cursing aloud.

“What the hell was that?” She muttered helping Aelia back onto her feet as Kitty got up as well.

“We were attacked by someone. What happened to the guys?!” Aelia replied glancing around.

“They’re fine they flew off, I heard their wings. That was a shock whip, they generate electrical currents that explode on impact.” Kitty informed, flexing her fingers to check her dexterity.

Lara angrily looked around, “Great, none of us have our weapons, I don’t even have my staff.”

“The hunt is set.” An ardent woman murmured, cracking her shock whip again, her black robe covering most of her figure as she floated above the girls.

“And who in the hell are you?” Lara asked, angered by the girl’s presence.

The woman held her whip, while smiling deviously at the girls, “My name in Shinju, and it is my duty to catch everyone of you. Thus will be my hunt for the day.”

Lara angrily charged up a beam in her hands, “How dare you think you can just attack us at will!” hurling the red flame at the woman she could only watch in astonishment as her figure disappeared before her eyes. The fiery beam simply trailing off into the sky as the same eerie wind swept past them.

“What the hell’s going on?” Kitty questioned looking around in confusion.

The others looked around as well, wishing they had their weapons, but instead drew their claws sniffing the air to find her location. Before they could find her a small metallic cube bounced into the middle of the four girls, while a chocking gas came shooting out of the corners. Kitty and Aelia began to cough as the gas got stuck in their lungs, causing them to have trouble breathing. Lara and Jess quickly ran to their sides.

“Hey guys! Don’t breath it in!” Jess shouted, catching Aelia before she fell.

Lara who stabilized Kitty only got a strange look from the Catarl, “Why aren’t you-“ she didn’t finish the sentence before coughing again.

Lara sat her down, franticly looking for the cloaked woman, “We’re part big cat, we’re immune to gasses! You can’t stay here!” She shouted, lugging the white queen onto her back, “Hang in there.”

Jess also lifted Aelia onto her back; “We have to get them out of the gas!” She shouted to her friend, sprinting across the roof with Aelia over her shoulder. Lara quickly followed her as she sprang from the roof, about to land on the other. The puma jumped along with her as they both headed toward the other roof. Before they could land on the other roof they soon saw another small metallic cube thrown at them. Cursing in aggravation Jess threw a beam at it as quickly as she could, pushing it further away from the airborne cats. But the cube soon exploded, sending all four cats sprawling out onto another rooftop.

Lara and Jess staggered back onto her feet, noticing that their companions were completely knocked out.

“Oh you little bastard. Where the hell are you now?” Jess spat drawing her claws in aggression.

She was soon answered by the woman’s voice chuckling but the sound echoed throughout the sky, and there was no one to be seen. Lara cursed under her breath, sniffing the air silently then smiling when she found her location. Springing into the air with her strong legs, Lara let out a roar as she pounced upon the invisible woman. Shinju called out in shock, becoming visible again as the puma raked her claws into her enemy. Jess soon charged the woman as well, right before she roughly threw Lara back down onto the ground, causing the puma to stagger back to her feet. Jess successfully snatched the woman’s tail before she flew higher, digging her claws into her furred tail.

Lara stood for a moment before chanting angrily, “Spirits give me the power to destroy all, do as I say and come to my call! Fireball!!” launching the flames at the woman, she watched as the ball of fire phased effortlessly through her. At the same moment, Jess’s hands phased through her tail. The panther landed shocked on the rooftop, looking up in confusion.

“I’d have to admit this has been the biggest challenge I’ve had in a while, however it must come to an end.” With another eerie chuckle the two girls looked behind them to see their friends blocked by the woman.

“Get away from them!” Lara angrily shouted, taking a step toward Shinju threatening to attack again.

The green eyed woman raised her hand toward the aggressive puma, her eyes narrowing as a smile danced on her full lips. Before Lara could react she soon felt her body become heavy, and her consciousness fading away.

Jess glanced at her friend, “Lara!” the panther could only watch as Lara collapsed onto the rooftop with a thud, falling into a deep sleep.

Looking back at Shinju she growled loudly in anger, “How dare you!” drawing her claws even further out she advanced toward the woman.

Again the woman smiled creepily before, with blinding speed, snapping her shock whip against the rooftop again. The currents traveled across the roof with incredible speed, too fast for the panther too react. Shouting as the electrical currents traveled through her body painfully, Jess barely stood as the electricity stopped, her battered figure smoking slightly as she heaved in an effort to regain her energy. Shinju smiled evilly again, taking a step forward as the panther finally began to collapse. Before she hit the ground the shock whip wrapped around her waist, not shocking her but holding her up as Shinju’s hand gasped her hand.

Jess growled in defiance, “...bastard...” before she lost consciousness, falling limp in the woman’s grasp.

Chapter 6 trap to set, a trap to fall…

Soto opened his eyes, his vision was terribly blurry. He felt his head throbbing as he looked around. “Oh…where...am I?” he weakly looked to his right to see Chris, with a smirk set on his lips. He pulled Soto against him, pressing his body against his. Chris weakly smiled and pulled away. “Wait…where are you going?!” Soto slightly stepped forwards a bit. Chris continued to back away from Soto, smirking. He looked behind Soto and pointed.
“what…are y-“ Soto turned around. He found himself staring at Kitty’s body, half her shirt ripped off, her fur matted with blood, her ruby red eyes cold and lifeless. Soto opened his mouth for a gasp.

Asuso drew his claws and stood in the middle of the dark room. His wings flapped furiously. His red eyes darted back and forth. “I’m tired of playing games…” Asuso spat viciously. “I want out of this dream world!!!”
Kitty appeared before him, dressed in a long red silky dress. “this isn’t a dream, Asuso” Kitty placed her hand on his cheek. “its Reality” she nuzzled his nose gently.
Asuso felt his arms wrap around her. Kitty smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Wait come back!!” Kuro ran after Jess’s running form growing darker. He stopped to catch his breath. He put his hand on his head. “my head…it...hurts” he shook it off and looked around him. He seemed to be in some kind of field.
He looked around and saw a jack-in-the-box sitting in a dead patch of weeds. He slowly picked it up.
“all…around…the mulberry bush…the monkey…chases...the weasel…” Kuro sang as he cranked the lever. He continued to turn it till he saw the box open, a little figure of Jess in a clown outfit popped out. He dropped the box and found his hands stained with red.
“What...where…JESS!!!! JESS Come and save me!!!!!” Kuro sobbed feeling tears slide down his cheeks. “Please...come and save me…”

Chris slowly opened his eyes and eyed the shredded clothing his body was enwrapped in. he looked up and saw shackles were holding his hands captive.
Soto entered, his face straight, his wings folded against his back. “you probably want me to let you down...do you not?”
Chris nodded feeling a little faint. “you will…wont you Soto?”
Soto flapped his wings and fluttered up and unlocked the shackles and softly landed with Chris. He smiled.
Chris smiled and felt Soto’s hand on his chest.
“I want your heart…may I have it?” Soto asked nuzzling him.
Chris nodded.
Soto pressed his hand over Chris’s beating heart. He placed his finger gently above it and started to push on Chris’s skin, a bit of blood trickled from the new wound, Chris screamed and pushed his hand away. Soto disappeared.

Soto awoke with a gasp to find himself in a cage, a large bird cage. He quickly got up and ran to the bars and shook them viciously. He suddenly felt a jolt of pain from wings. He looked back at his wings to see chains hooked to them. His eyes widened. He rubbed his wings. The chains suddenly started to pull him back; he fell on his face and was dragged to the back of the cage.
Soto screamed as he felt his blood on his already soaked feathers.
“Good your awake…I thought you would never wake up” Aruko said sitting in his chair. “Your going to have to be a good birdie, or my chains might not be so lenient”
Soto glared up at him. “YOU!!!! You did this!!!” Soto ran towards the front of the cage in rage.
Aruko watched as Soto was pulled back. “Silly bird…don’t you see? You can’t touch me while you’re in your cage, now I really would love to talk, but I must see to my other guests” Aruko arose and exited through the door and slammed it shut.

“Kitty!” Asuso shot up and rubbed his eyes. He rose and walked to the wall, it was glass, he ran to the other, it was glass. Aruko stood in front of him placing his hand on the glass. Asuso walked and placed his hand on the glass, and gave him the finger.
“You are a stubborn one you are Asuso” Aruko said smiling. “You’ll learn to change”
As he finished those words, water poured in through a drain in the center of the glass room.
Asuso pounded on the wall and yelled and cursed at Aruko.
Aruko just smiled and walked to the next room.

Kuro opened his eyes and shook his head. He looked around slowly but stayed sitting. He appeared to be in some kind of shower room. The tile on the wall was covered in grime of all sorts, and it smelt like rotting meat. He covered his mouth, gagging on the smell, trying not to regurgitate.
“Disgusting? Isn’t it? “ Aruko quietly spoke. He moved his hair behind his ear. He looked around. “too much grime and gunk to clean, so I never use this shower anymore, too bad you’ll be stuck in it…” he walked out the door quickly.
Kuro ran to the door and pulled on the handle, to no avail. His ears drooped. “great...I'm stuck….” He growled and sat on the ground. He held his hand over his nose. “it smells really bad…” Kuro looked around once more. “I hope Jess and everyone come soon…”

Chris opened his eyes and looked around the infected room, the wallpaper falling off the rotting walls. Chris took a step forward and had his foot fall through the floor. He quickly lifted his foot out and moved onto the bug-infested bed, the silver sheets crawling with beetles and cockroaches. His face grew pale. He got up and his tail hit a pile of books, toppling them over, spreading a mist of dust everywhere. Chris sneezed.

“Where am I?” Chris sneezed again and fell back. His hand fell through.

“Your in my old room…I hated that room…especially the sheets…sliver isn’t my color….” Aruko smiled and floated. “and what better...is its right above the torture chamber…”Aruko gently sat on a chest.

Chris studied his figure, his head slightly tilted in confusion. “Your not a Catarl are you?”

Aruko smiled “ no...I’m not...I’m a rare type of demon called Inrugi” Aruko revealed his fangs as he smirked. “you know my mother always told me to never play with my food, but…it’s very fun…”

Chris’s eyes widened as he realized. “you…mean-”

“not for eating Chris…For fun…”

Chapter 7 Friends are enemies
Kitty opened her eyes and saw Jess and Aelia and Lara sitting beside her, she stood up to greet Jess, but right in front of her eyes, she saw Jess strike Asuso, scratching his cheek deeply. Kitty growled and extended her claws.
She then saw Jess stand before Asuso grinning. “You never really were good at caring Asuso” Jess snickered and rammed her claws into his stomach, spilling blood onto the white-carpeted floor.
A roar escaped Kitty’s throat and she charged at Jess, knocking the Runouryu onto the floor, furiously batting her with her claws. “you bitch!”
Jess blocked her face from Kitty’s blows.
“Die!!!” Kitty screamed and Kicked the Runouryu in the stomach, making her sail to the stonewall.

Jess felt herself being tossed by the Catarl
“Kitty stop!” Jess cried out as Kitty lunged forward and made contact with her stomach, making her fall to her knees.
Kitty Growled as she stood above her and kicked her in her stomach and lay her foot on the fallen Runouryu’s chest.

They soon both awakened to see Jess smiling at them.
“Jess?” Kitty awaked and got up from the chair, which Jess had sat her. “what happened?”
Jess looked up and saw Shinju, laughing lightly. “you all are like little rats, running around trying to find the end of the maze”
