Sorata was taken away from his family at the age of three to live with a stargazer at Mt. Koya. He has been tought by him and his powers have been instucted by the stargazer. He is told that he will protect Kamui with his life because he will die onlt for a woman.

When the stargazer notices that the star of destiny has shifted. He sends Sorata off to Tokyo.

At first has a bit of trouble meeting with Kamui, but eventually gets to. When he meets Arashi, he decides that she is the one he will die for when the time comes.

Sorata is a Dragon of Heaven, or one of the Seven Seals. He has the power to command electricity.

Sorata is a lively and outgoing character. He is usually always cheerful. But there are some times in the series where he becomes very serious and stouborn.
