Promo Cards

No one said collecting cards was easy. Aside from going through several dollars worth of booster packs just to find that one evasive gold-lettered or holofoil card, there are also many special digimon cards that were released in exclusive promotional offers.

Taco Bell Promos

These cards were released for part of a Taco Bell promotional offer. Of course, you can't walk in ow and get any, but you may still be able to find an entire set for sale on eBay.

Movie Promos

These cards were given out at certain theaters when you bought an admission to Digimon: The Movie. Very nice cards, only problem with them was that when they first came out, many of them could not be used because the cards for their evolution requirements haven't been released yet (unless you cheated and used the Ultra Digivolve card from Starter 1).

Video Game Promos

These cards came with some of the Digimon video games.

DW-01 MetalGreymon (HOLO) (Came with Digimon World.)
DW-02 ??? (I have no idea. I'm assuming this card came with Digimon World 2, but I have no clue as to its identity.)
DW-03 Imperialdramon (HOLO) (Came with Digimon Card Battle.)
DW-04 SlashAngemon??? (I think this came with Digimon World 3. I've never actually seen this card, so I can't confirm it.)

BS-01 Guilmon (HOLO) (Came with Digimon Battle Spirit. This is actually a D-Tector card, but I thought it still belongs in the promo section.)

Toy Promos

A set of three cards came with their respective Digi-Warrior action figures. What's odd about them, though, is that they're made of a thick plastic. They seemed to be made more to be slashed with the US D-Arc game than to be used in an actual card game.

DP-01 Growmon
DP-02 Kyubimon
DP-03 Galgomon

Another couple of cards came with some figurine sets. The first one came with a WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, Omegamon figurine set, and the second came with a Seraphimon, Holydramon, Magnamon, Rapidmon set:

Om-01 Omegamon Om-02 The Miracle Four
